Great Safe! Excellent Customer Service. Safe purchased ~2 years ago failed. The team sent a new power cord, and when that did not fix the issue, they helped me ship it back for repair. Quick turn around as well! 10/10

The safe is high speed and modular, exactly what I wanted for quick and secure access with little ones around. My RS500i motherboard died, and when I alerted customer support they tried to replace it. When they realized the motherboard was no longer available, they told me they would be shipping a brand new replacement safe (and the latest version of the safe!).

Now I have one fully functioning RS500i, and one mechanically functioning older RS500i. Double capacity!

This is my second purchase from Vaultek. The purchasing experience is top notch making it easy to choose the best product for my needs. The product itself is well made, and the initial setup instructions are very good.

Morgan on the support team was incredibly responsive (even responding to my email in the holiday week), informative, and didn't treat me like an idiot. They were able to resolve my issue quickly . This was hands down one of the best support experience I have had in a long time.

I am very pleased with my LifePod XR Special Edition, which I purchased a month ago. It is really nice, and you can fit at least 4 pistols if you remove the hard pouch and soft tray. You can add 2 pistols at the bottom with some rounds and about 2 guns in the top tray. I think if I tried, I could fit 3 pistols in each compartment (with the tray on), but I have not tried yet. I purchased it because it is TSA Safe, and I travel a lot for work. It is also my range bag and my safe when I am away from home. So far, it has been a very good investment, to be honest. The only issues I had with it are that (1) it is now full of scratches on top of the case after my first plane trip with it, maybe from being slammed by baggage handlers. The plastic feels extremely sturdy but the very top layer with the details + branding, is prone to scratches when roughed up. Another thing is that (2) you cannot fit hearing protection, and for that, you might have to purchase the LifePod XT, which is bigger. I liked it that much that I just purchased the Lifepod XR Colin Noir Edition as a Christmas present for my husband because of the bigger size, and because he saw how convenient and versatile it was.

I’ve had my RS800i safe for a couple years now. I love the app and alerts when the safe is opened or an incorrect code or fingerprint attempted to open it. I recently upgraded my WiFi router and couldn’t get it to connect. Customer support was great! They helped me edit a couple default settings in the new router and the safe began communicating with the app within a minute. Very satisfied with the safe and even more so with customer support!

I love the safe, only problem is that it frequently drops wifi in the middle of the night and does not reconnect. Otherwise it would be 5 stars

Excellent customer service! I called in, and Brandon was very friendly. He was sure if the upgrade kit that I wanted (for an older unit) was still available, but promised that he’d find out. Sure enough, he emailed me an hour later and said they had one, and that they’d mail it out (for free). I received just two days later, because they priority shipper it. Very happy with how I was taken care of!

I had purchased one small safe from Vaultek for my car and found the quality exceptional. I returned to purchase a larger safe and accessory for our home. Due to a change in family circumstance and well after having taken delivery of the new safe, I contacted Vaultek and asked if they would consider accepting a return despite the length of time I had it.

I explained my situation and the the items had not been opened, and I have to say the company were both highly responsive and incredibly helpful. They accepted the return and processed the refund promptly.

So I can say two things about Vaultek:
1) The product I purchased from them is quite impressive.

2) The experience I had when needing to see about a return was also exceptional. I hope and intend to do business with them again in the future and wish them every success. My experience tells me it will be well deserved.

Long time customer! Started with a lifepod grew into their larger safes and sliders and LOVE THEM!!! This by far is a superior company offering a far advanced product and even better customer service. Any questions are addressed by customer service almost immediately and they stand behind their products. Will be adding more to my collection very soon.

Sent in safe for repair. They sent return shipping label for me to send it in. And the turn around time was super fast.

Vaultek is absolutely the best - feature packed and at a great price

The LifePod XRC is a well-constructed safe for whatever you need to store and protect. Like other LifePod enclosures, it comes with a cable to connect it to something substantial so it can't "walk away". The cable is easily cut through, which really only keeps honest people honest. If someone wants your safe, it's theirs.

The outer shell makes the entire case rather sexy. But it scratches easily and can be marred with little effort. If there is a fire, the safe will simply melt around your valuables until your valuables begin to combust. So, not safe when the possibility of a fire exists.

I'm using this XRC to store weapons, and the current weight of the whole case now exceeds 60lbs. This makes the wheels a must. I can store many handguns and magazines in the lid; however, you can only fit two rifles in the case but only if there are no optics on the rifles.

Another issue I have found is that if you mount handguns in the lid, when you close the safe, they push down onto the rifles and or optics. As long as you don't shake the safe (by dragging it across the surface of the road, for instance) I do not believe the shuffling of the weapons against each other will damage any of the objects.

Overall, a great safe, with just a few minor issues. I'd buy it again, but then I own more than one rifle with optics on them, so I kind of need another one.
