VersaDesk Avis 720

I ordered a desk riser as a gift but the recipient did not want it so I tried to return it. I was mislead by Eddie In customer service who told me that he was working on getting approval for a return (not just an authorization to return item) but actually covering the return shipment. The problem was that the cost of shipment for this 68lb heavy box was about $50. I bought the riser with a discount at about $115. I was led to believe the company would cover the shipping charges. Eddie said he would send me an empty box (I presume with a prepaid shipping label on it) so I could return the riser. But he never sent it and he stopped responding to me. I also spoke to Louie and Veronica who didn’t know anything about what Eddie had said. They told me that shipping fees for return were fully on me!
I am in San Diego and not too far away from the company in LA and was even willing to drive this heavy big box to their office to avoid paying for shipping but because of Covid they wouldn’t accept!
Versadesk makes a promise of full returns but what is the point of that when I have to pay 50% in shipping?!!!!
I am beyond frustrated. I have spent way too much time and money on this stupid thing. Their customer service is misleading and awful.

This is a good/decent product. It arrived within a few weeks. If you are 6'4'' or taller I wouldn't recommend this desk. In addition, the table top itself is low quality. The base and adjustability is great but the table top is cheap formica with what looks like a plastic covering. There are several products out there that are much cheaper for better quality and I am upset that I purchased this versus others.

The Versadesk is nice in quality. Set up was fairly easy.

Con: no drawers or storage... just an expensive flat desk that you can sit or stand at.. I was told, "if you want a drawer, you can join our mailing list, then you can see if we ever make one.."

Love my VersaDesk! Not only is the product itself great, but the customer service team is easy to get through to and takes care of any and all problems in a timely manner. My desk came in and worked for 15 minutes, then never would come back on. I contacted customer service, they walked me through resetting it and unfortunately it would not restart. They immediately put in an order to have a new one sent right out to me. That was several months ago, I received it and have had no problems. It has made a huge difference in the neck strain I had before I started using this product.

The desk is very beautiful and it performs as expected. I searched long and hard before finding VersaDesk and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a VersaDesk in my office and once we started WFH, decided to get one for home. So glad I did! I was familiar with the quality, and ease of assembly so it was a no-brainer. Very beneficial to have the option to sit or stand while working at your desk. I highly recommend VersaDesk.

While this is a great addition to my home desk, there is a slight (ever so slight) design flaw. While using it the upright position, there is no movement side to side (which is good), but there is some movement front/back which causes my computer monitor to wobble a little while I'm typing and/or applying pressure on the keyboard. Having brackets/lifting also placed between the front/back will reduce that movement.

I love my VersaDesk! It has smooth, quiet, easy operation and is a breeze to use whenever I feel like standing or sitting.

I use the versa desk every day. It is well made and has worked perfectly.

The product descriptions were very good and had great pictures from all angles. This made selection for my end user very easy. I placed the order and it was here in a matter of days! This was really unexpected. Very appreciative of the quick order processing and shipping. Thank you!

My wife is extremely happy with her desk. It does exactly as advertised. Helps with her work day by not being nailed to a chair.

We highly recommend VersaDesk when purchasing a VersaDesk, a desk shield, or any other product. The transactions are smooth, shipping is quick and reliable, and they follow through post-purchase to see how everything is. Our office has not actually had to deal with customer service with VersaDesk as far as any issues in our purchases/products but we believe they are awesome. We will definitely purchase from VersaDesk in the future and will recommend them as well to other offices.

I previously purchased a more expensive and smaller competitor product but when the system was all the way down, the keyboard tray was at a slight angle due to the placement of the motor. On the Versadesk, I don't have this issue. Perfect ergonomics. I love my whiteboard one as people will just write me a note on it! Great size, excellent price for the larger size!

Great product! I've had the electric standing desktop for about 5 months. Works great. Very study. I have a laptop, two Apple Thunderbolt displays (27") and a 24" display on it. And a small pair of speakers and a monitor mounting bracket. Everything is neat and organized. Only complaint is it took awhile to get it. I had to check back with them a few times. This was due to backlog with COVID-19 and everyone suddenly working from home.
