"Buyer Protection" is a scam — They protect the fraudsters, not victims !
I am reporting a clear case of fraud and tampering that vinted refused to investigate. I returned a defective item (SNAD), and the seller staged fake damage after receiving it to avoid a refund. Even though I provided clear visual evidence proving the seller destroyed the product himself, vinted refused to honor the Buyer Protection policy I paid for and instead blamed me for "insufficient packaging" — an excuse I have learned vinted frequently uses as a loophole to avoid refunding buyers. The concept might be good but
Vinted's "Customer Support" is non-existent. They used automated bots to ignore my photographic proof, completed the transaction in favor of the scammer, and then deleted my honest review of the seller — which was intended solely to warn other users of this seller's fraudulent behaviour — and even threatened to suspend my account !
They charge a "Buyer Protection fee" but provide zero protection. They are complicit in fraud by silencing victims and protecting deceptive sellers.
