Charged me 2 months in a row without sending me anything , sent multiple emails now £80 down and not answering my emails when asked for a refund .

Seems Dodgy
Made an order, but received no confirmation. The vinyl went out of stock after I ordered. Sent emails but no response. Now the website has disappeared. Will be a long journey to get my money back.

Vinylbox has been hit and miss since I started with them earlier this year. I've had months where I received no communication from them, only to receive records I didn't have a chance to veto. I've had excuses from "Oli" at vinylbox and now their store has closed down. I feel for those who have paid for yearly subscriptions and lost everything.
Be aware
I received 3 months of a pre-paid annual subscription and was then told there was a delay in September / October due to the logistic centre moving. Today (November) the website doesn't work, and I cannot get a reply to emails.
I think this is a scam.

Don’t waste your money
For a music lover this subscription service was everything I dreamed of however the overall service is just sub par and has left me disappointed.
They took my money in August which was for a 3 month subscription. It’s now nearly the the end of October and I have received 2 albums (which were left outside my house in the rain and all the packaging got soddened) and a few emails apologising.
Not good enough.
I have sent numerous emails and had zero response from the vinylbox team.
If you are looking to expand your music collection then I would recommend finding a local record jumble sale, you will most definitely find some gems there and not leave disappointed.
Good Idea Awful Service
Such a good idea , such poor service. On my second box I got same album twice (not a big deal) but no response to any communication via Instagram , X or email. Third box was total shambles with no book, all albums I had already been sent and again no response from any customer service enquiry. I can see from social media this is exactly the same for many others. It is such a shame as I love the idea
Every poor communication
Initially when I bought my years subscription last December everything was great and they got the boxes out on time. Since June this year there has been a delay every single month and as for September I’m yet to receive anything and they no longer respond to my emails or reaches out via social media. This has become one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The product is great when and if it arrives
Rotten Service - hoping for a response
Well I'd love to be more positive than this is going to be.... perhaps someone from VinylBox reads their Trustpilot reviews and considers getting in touch.
I bought a year's subscription for my daughter. When she went to set it up, an error message says the subscription is "sold out"! I already paid £349!
This was more than 2 weeks ago, various support forms and emails later and still no response. I can't tell you what the vinyl service is like but it's been a Horrible customer experience so far.
Something seems very wrong here
The first box we received from our 3 month subscription was great (first box was July). August and September boxes haven’t yet arrived. I’ve been told that there are supply issues, which means that I’ve had to choose the August box several times. I’ve also been told several times that my boxes will be dispatched in the next few days. I’ve still not received a dispatch notification. I have stayed in contact with VinylBox throughout this period and am no longer receiving replies from them.
Avoid! Worst Retail Experience Ever…
I signed up to the 3-month subscription with a great deal of hope over a month ago. I received no confirmation, and after a number of back-and-forth emails, was assured that I’d receive the box. I then heard nothing for over a week, and after contacting them again, was told that an item from the box I’d ordered was out of stock. I then selected a new box, and faced the same problem of no communication - it has been over a month since I first ordered. I have not received my order, or any proof that I will do so. Totally disappointed - please do not make the same mistake of trusting “VinylBox” as I did.
Avoid, poor customer service and no albums
I signed up for a three month three vinyl subscription. Received my first box and was delighted with it.
The. Nothing for over two months. I contacted them and no response and no further records.
I cancelled my subscription and recommend you to avoid like the plague.
Gift card option is a plus!
After initial issue with lack of confirmation email for my purchase of a gift card, I've had a helpful exchange with customer service, who apologised for the issue caused by a temporary site build problem. My giftcard is now in the post to me, and I'm pleased they offer this product, as other online record stores I've looked at don't.

The business has gone downhill
The business has gone downhill. Ruining a good idea.
I have been subscribing for some time now, at the beginning, it was great. Sending me great records that I was excited about.
However recently, I was not sent my choice, which I had to chase for a response. In the end I enjoyed the records sent. I moved on.
Then my next subscription money was taken, I made my choices and nothing arrived for over a month. I also emailed in. No response. I chased.. I got an apology, said it was being sent.. nothing. I have cancelled my payments as the next subscription was being taken and nothing sent.
Again I chased for an update. Got another apology.. same excuses told to make new choices, but it’s the same selection.. so somewhere in this, there is a problem.
Honestly, it’s a great idea, that started well and they obviously have supply issues, scaling problems and showing the signs that it’s badly managed and I would seriously question anyone sending any money to them now.
So I would avoid it. Go and find a good record shop.
No confirmation email
Placed an order for a physical gift voucher three days ago (Monday) and received no confirmation email!
Emailed customer services and no reply either. They’ve happily taken the money out of my account though.
Extremely frustrated as this is a gift I’m meant to be giving in a few days.

Signed up on the 27th of August for three albums a month, three months upfront, at a cost of £125, picked my box, vetoed my albums and…. Nothing. Two orders showing as unfulfilled. Have emailed and tried to contact via the website and no response
Update: Oli from Vinylbox contacted me and I have now received my first box, however the box I’d originally asked for was out of stock and haven’t received the bonus for signing up for three months up front.

Bit slow on their comms but first BOX was great
I had some issues with my emails not getting answered at first which was a little frustrating.
I received my first box 2 weeks after choosing my options and both albums are great
The signup and account creation should be a single process but it isn't and it's not clear that after you sign up you then have to go back in and create an account.

So much potential, yet so much disappointment .
I signed up for 3 months with a discount and was happy with my first box but since then the service has been shocking.
I submitted my choices for my second box after VinylBox was delayed sending out the selection email until 03/08/23. I then heard nothing until 16/08/23, when I enquired as to what was going on with the order. The next day, I was told there had been a delay as they were waiting on the packaging and it would be dispatched in 2 days. 4 days later, still nothing. I emailed asking to cancel and refund the third month as the service was so poor. They did so 2 days late,r but my second box is nowhere to be seen despite them having taken the money.
Terrible customer service, no communication or transparency with what is going on. Really disappointed.
Edit: the below reply explanation is contradictory to the explanation in the ONE email I received after a MONTH of zero communication. I requested twice for a refund rather than the box, both requests were ignored. My box has now supposedly been dispatched but has NOT been delivered yet.

Vinyl box subscription
Up until this month, this would have been 5 stars! Contacted them on the 23rd August to enquire about my August order, this I got a reply saying it had been processed and the tracking details would be received within 2 business days, still waiting on the 4th September.
I have twice since tried to contact them through the contact form on the website and once replying to the first email and had no reply at all.
Very disappointed to have had to make this review.

First order and nothing but problems
UPDATE: Can confirm that I have been issued with a full refund for both orders. These came through as notifications via the shop app. So although disappointing overall I have at least received my money back.

Subscribed on 24th August as took advantage of a promo code. Very excited about this only to find that we're now on 4th September and still shows my order as unfulfilled.
To make matters worse they took payment again on 30th August, this was clearly an error as I was informed my next box would be 30th September.
I've raised these issues with them over email and no one is responding. I even asked for a full refund now as I feel like I'm not going to receive my goods or they'll be sent out weeks and weeks later, who knows.
I was happy to wait a week or so for my first order to be processed and sent, but because my emails are not being responded to and I was charged again it's understandable I have no trust in this company.
I have emailed again today and intend to make a bank chargeback and follower consumer rights and trading standards guidance set out in law to get this resolved if I still do not get a response.
