Ordered an album

Ordered an album, October 2025. When i emailed in November for shipping update, stated it will be coming soon and I would receive tracking. That never happened and 3 more emails were not replied to. The artist gave me another contact email address, and that was never replied to. It has now been 3 months and I am disputing the charge to my credit card. I will get the money back, but would have preferred getting what I paid for.

Ignored refund requests, no support

After cancelling my subscription, they started charging me again, because of credits I had that were unused (that they wouldn't give back). Since I caught it happening, I've sent them I don't know how many emails, and they just stopped responding after I requested a refund. It's been months.

When they started out, I genuinely believed in the idea, and they seemed like a good company, but since the change in management (and minimal communication), they seem to not care about their customers.

They owe me over £100, and ignore me repeatedly.

This is not how a company that claims to support music lovers should behave. Be very cautious before giving VinylBox your payment details.

Awful subscription model

Absolutely awful subscription model. Please avoid this company at all costs, I was gifted this a couple of years ago for Christmas and have since struggled to use my outstanding credits and cancel my membership for a year. I have hundreds of pounds of credit I can’t use and they refuse to give a refund.

Scam. Cancel your DDs

It didn't start out as a scam, albeit had some issues, largely with the packaging and not making it to me in good order. But the company did deal with this, improved packaging and replaced any damaged records. But then things changed at least 7months ago where they said they were experiencing issues and offered a founding member subscription to continue into the future. I rather forgot about it all at this point, but seemingly they still taking monthly payments regardless of not doing anything for it. Only noticed this month I was still paying. Rang up the bank to explain issue. Bank were very helpful, refunded some of my losses (which I was not expecting) and stopped the direct debit. Then looked at email history and saw I last received a record just before Christmas. So not quite the losses I thought, so some good news. This was only a week or so ago and was just moving on with my loss. But I received an email today from them regarding billing. This now definitely seems like a scam. This is the email:

Hi *name*,

Thanks for being a VinylBox Founding Member! We don't want you to miss out on your first box, so please could you update your card on file?

Scammers be aware

Scam artist they re instated my subscription when I cancelled it luckily this was through PayPal so I could cancel the subscription and request a refund hopefully I will report back soon

Funny thing is you've taken 2 payment mat and June and have nothing to show for it further proving that your scammers

I am in the process of filing a refund with Paypal if anyone as ever used there debit card rather than paypal whether its lloyds natwest ETC go into your loac branch or you may be able to do this in the app or online explain that you've never received the item(s) then file a chargeback that way the company will have to pay if found liable this is the only way to show these scam company that they cannot get away with stealing our hard earned money

A complete farce...

Having now experienced their service firsthand, I feel compelled to share my profound disappointment with Vinyl Box. Despite owing me a staggering four boxes – a consequence of their apparent no-refund policy – these promised deliveries have yet to materialize. The latest explanation, citing logistical constraints that limit shipments to a mere three boxes at a time, rings hollow as even those haven't arrived. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in service, particularly since the departure of the previous team. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution and think twice before entrusting Vinyl Box with their hard-earned money. What was once a promising service now feels like nothing short of a complete farce.

Scam corrupt company

Awful company.. like many others they have stolen money from me. I joined 2 years ago and then after constant delays to my order I cancelled. Then I found out from April last year, they had been taking money from my account. I have been in contact with them and they refuse to refund. I decided to go to their register office, on their terms and conditions, it’s an abandoned unit. This company is committing mass fraud. Just from the complaints on this site they are taking thousands of pounds a month from people illegally. About time the police got involved I think.

Total scam..

Total scam... when it was a UK company everything was great. Changed to an American company and it became terrible. Rubbish vinyls to the point I cancelled my subscription. They still took a payment. I requested a refund but they said they'd only give me credit. Luckily I had set payment up by PayPal. 3 months later they randomly took another payment so I stopped the payment and requested a refund through PayPal. Got my money back but they still hold £40 of mine. I've requested it back but no response to my emails. Disgusting way to run a company 😡😡😡

I purchased a voucher for a 4-month…

I purchased a voucher for a 4-month subscription from Vinyl Box as a birthday present for my sister. When she tried to use the voucher it didn't work. We contacted Vinyl Box to ask for assistance and they told us that because they had recently had changes in their company structure and they were no longer honouring or allowing vouchers to be used. Because the voucher was not redeemable, I asked for a refund to buy her something else and they refused to refund me and just said sorry and stopped responding to me. They just took my money and refused to give anything in return, including my money back, which is essentially theft. Do not use them.

One Star

One Star - Absolute Rip-Off

Avoid this "vinyl box" service like the plague! I cancelled my subscription month ago, and they're still holding my money hostage. No response to emails, no refund, just radio silence. This is a blatant scam. They'll happily take your money, but good luck getting it back if you dare to cancel. Save yourself the headache and spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere.

Don’t sign up… spend your hard earned cash in a local store

I was a longtime subscriber since the company started in the UK and the service great until April / May 2024.

No emails, no selection boxes, however, monthly charges of £39.99…

You can’t contact them now…

When I was able to received empty promises to use up all my credit and once and be removed from their scheme. No follow-up nothing happened.

In 2025 please don't subscribe to this scam! They are just taking money from me after they confirmed they had deleted my bank details, only makes sense since they are US owned now. Scammers!

Glad it's not only me, with issues.. avoid avoid avoid. Messed an order, made excuses and didn't apologis for that only for delay in response. Found out they charged me again.Scam

Cancelled and still charged...

I cancelled my subscription, even deleted my account and I have still been billed since APRIL! I have contacted to dispute to no avail. I would avoid this company at all costs if you want to save your money!

Do not go near this company!

They ceased to exists last year, I've only just realised they've been taking payments from me without my consent since April this year without my authorisation, nor sending me any vinyl whatsoever. I have a suspicion they changed all policies so that unsuspecting people like myself and the many other reviewers didn't notice this straight away.

They will refuse to refund you and the accounts you should supposedly have from the previous comany no longer exists with your so called 'credit'

Take your money without asking

Take your money without asking, the choices are horrific, no refunds even though you've never selected a package.

After being charged again after they promised to cancel my contract (they said it was a glitch in their system) they are still yet to process a refund 7 days later.

This is truly the worst company/product I've ever signed up for.
