Auckland to Perth return.

Delayed in Auckland for 5 and a half hours because the cockpit indicator for the exit door wasn't showing locked.
Luckily,I was sitting in that row so had a couple of hours of good entertainment while the cabin crew, the flight crew, and then the Wamos maintenance gang had a go at it.
Finally they disembarked us so they could pull the door to bits and fix it.
Anyway, the cabin crew going over were great, friendly and helpful, but different crew coming back not so much.
But Wamos, something you must fix is how much carry on luggage can be taken on board... Some passengers had 2 big wheelie bags.
And when your in front of economy and last to board, there's nowhere left to stash your bag.

Terrible Seats

My back is completely stuffed after a flight from Perth to New Zealand, the seat was exceptionally uncomfortable! I only discovered the seat recliner lever when we landed no one had seats back as it is hidden away under the seat! On return flight delayed 6 hours as door would not close, sat on plane for 3 hours to be off loaded - in a lot of pain thanks to terrible seats.

Air NZ swapped out my flight to Perth…

Air NZ swapped out my flight to Perth and back to Auckland for Wamos Air. Never again! I read some reviews when this happened, not believing what I was reading. I was wrong. THE hardest seats, EVER. After 3 hours of uncomfortable there was no way to get comfortable. The seats did not recline and on a long overnight flight, this made it impossible to get some sleep.I have read comments saying the cabin crew were rude. I did not find this but got totally ignored for a much needed glass of water. No bell to ask anyone. On the plus side, the food was good. Not happy with Air NZ. If you book Air NZ and pay for Air NZ then that is what you should get.
P.S. The domestic flight from Auckland to Palmerston North on an Air NZ aircraft was way more comfortable.

Won’t fly Air NZ again if they are…

Won’t fly Air NZ again if they are using Wamos. Was looking forward to Business class, and paid thousands for this. Meal was shocking. Couldn’t eat it and I noticed everyone around me left their chicken meal too. Bathroom kit smelled stale. Entertainment selection was appalling. Feel for the staff that stand in front of this quality. They were nice and polite, but the same Business Class cost as Air NZ? feel so ripped off majorly. Fed up with being ripped off

Wamos Air Experience Abu Dhabi-Jakarta

I have been flight with Wamos Air from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta on 8th February 2024. Love at first sight. Crew are lovely, hard worker and responsible. I had very excited with Pilot. He is one of the best pilot that I have ever flight experiences. Very smooth both take off and landing. You are fantastic, Captain ! Fantastico Wamos !

Terrible

The service was terrible. The staff barely spoke English and had a very superior attitude. The snack was a pie in plastic and when I asked what was in it, it took 3 staff to understand the question and answer it... while treating me like I was a nuisance. The plane was ancient and not up to ait New Zealand standards. I'll use another airline in future, you've lost me Air New Zealand. You'd kept my money for 3 years after COVID-19 then this.

We flew with Wamos at last minute when…

We flew with Wamos at last minute when our Aer Lingus flight was changed, travelling from Manchester to New York. Myself and my daughter were quite anxious at the last minute change having not flown long haul before. We needn't had bothered worrying. The plane was roomy, clean with generous facilities. The staff were the nicest ever. Film choice was a little disappointing but I definitely relived my youth watching some of them. In flight meal was also lovely.

They said wamos is low cost carrier. For me Wamos is ancient carrier. Everything is old and broken. Etihad change my flight from abu dhabi to jakarta with wamos. Can you imagine 8 hours flight with nothing and broken airplane?? And some stewadress is disgusting

Good airline

Was supposed to be flying with aer lingus to new york, however we ended up with wamos. Wamos is a good airline the food was great better then the return leg with aer lingus and also had much more leg room space then aer lingus as well. Only issue with wamos was the TV and movie selection which wasn't the best.

Peggior volo della mia vita

Doveva essere un volo TAP ed invece ci siamo trovati con Wamos. Aereo vecchio che cadeva a pezzi. Nessun intrattenimento. Prese di ricarica cellulari non funzionanti. Ho pagato per un sedile con più spazio e mi son ritrovato con un sedile piccolo rigido e 8 ore di volo per il Brasile. Personale di bordo antipatico. Cibo orribile. Più di un'ora di ritardo in partenza a causa della gente che ha preferito scendere piuttosto che farsi 8 ore sul quel'aereo.
Se mi dovesse ricapitare di volare con loro, scenderò anche io!

Route from Perth Auckland return flying WAMOS Air, but paying Air NZ prices, couldn’t get a 2nd drink, they turned on Safety Belt sign for Turbulance, understand that, but never turned it off. When so so obvious no turbulence; passengers ignored the sign and used toilet, cabin staff did nothing. My issue is, if they are prepared to ignore the most basic of operating procedures. What else is being missed that as passengers cannot see. Batik Air is now flying this route, if Air NZ is offering a budget service and flight, I’ll definitely try Batik Air next time.

Abu Dhabi to Jakarta (Ethiad Replacement Service)
Old plane and super hot for 45 minutes after boarding due to no aircon fitted to this a330 - 200.

Seats and legroom were ok - just old and tired. Inflight entertainment ancient though and extremely limited selection of films. Cabin crew average. Don't expect a great flight on this no frills / cheap replacement airline

Mi vuelo era de Avianca

Mi vuelo era de Avianca, Los Angeles a Bogotá, pero lo reprogramaron con Wamos. Pésimo casi todo, los baños minúsculos, la comida escasa y mala, casi nada de bebidas. Las aeropuerto mozas muy buenas.. Horrible.

Pésimo Servicio No Viajes por WAMOS

No recomiendo esta aerolínea son muy negligente e irresponsables , viaje con ellos y las pertenencias de mi bebé me las rompieron y no me dan respuestas tampoco contestan mis mensajes , me costo demaciado para que ellos me rompieran la carriola de mi bebé y ni siquiera me responden ni se hacen responsable de los daños , NO LA RECOMIENDO esta aerolínea NO VIAJEN POR WAMOS AIR

Booked Aer lingus got Wamos Air on…

Booked Aer lingus got Wamos Air on return flight from Toronto to Dublin.
Firstly I couldnt understand the safety briefing. Asked for water three times, had to wait for the drinks trolly to arrive an hour later as I wanted to take my medication. . One Stewardess was very impolite. Seats hard and uncomfortable . Food terrible. No entertainment screens you have to use your phone or tablet but no ear phones supplied. I was given no choice by Aer Lingus for my return flight to Dublin as the e-mail stated that it could not be replied to. Will not fly with Wamos Air again but unfortunately we do not seem to have any choice in the matter!!!! I got on the Aircraft in excellent health and by the time I got off the plane was ill which last approx 4 days. Old aircraft, old filters . Eugene

Perth to Auckland

Perth to Auckland. Terrible trip, the most uncomfortable seats I have ever had. Only 3 toilets available for all of economy.
Usually fly qantas with a stop over and I will be doing this in future. Won’t be flying Wamos or Air New Zealand again.
Air New Zealand charging full fare for a budget airline.
Qantas will be getting my custom from now on
