ordered 3rd August. shipped 12 August, Arrived 20 August. shoes arrived in BUBBLE WRAP NOT A SHOEBOX!!! Ordered a size UK 40 which are more like a UK 38 at best. And website says customer pays postage costs despite clearly not being a true UK 40! . No response to my written request 36 hours ago to initiate return. Avoid. I'll be claiming back through credit card

Awful shoes, terrible customer service.

I ordered and paid £59.99 on 5.8.25,for what I believed would be a quality pair of shoes. They arrived in a bag on 16.8.25. They are plastic, have false buckles and are about 1” too long for size 5 ordered. This poor standard is not acceptable.

My main concern is that I cannot find an email address for this company that they will respond to for a REFUND.

If you think this is high quality shoes, you are absolutely wrong. This is a warning for you from a customer going through so much pain trying to return back the bad quality shoes for a full refund which never happened. This is China shoes and delivery is about 14 days + read the return policy, is awful. Do not be stupid, they worked on good pictures, that's it.

Shoes stink of chemicals. No return address. Came mangled in a bag. I feel totally scammed.

I began to 'smell a rat' about this company once the 'delivery within 7 days' timescale elapsed - I have requested my bank look into a scam as I have been duped by China-based 'UK retail companies before.

I have yet to receive the sandals ordered - I actually don't want to. These reviews support every fear I have about Chloe And Liam ( whoever they are!)

Ordered in June and still haven't received the package. Customer service just sends the same email every few days. Absolutely useless. Don't bother.

So I ordered a pair of brown Urban leather Mary Jane’s, thinking they were a UK based business and realised that they had shipped from China. They took two and a bit weeks to arrive. I didn’t expect the shoes to be leather, even with the title as they were described as soft and bendy. Maybe my bar was low but I really like them. They look vintage and a little worn. They are VERY comfortable. My foot is quite wide and I have no issue with these. I’m going to be wearing these a lot in the Autumn.

I'm dissappointed. The shoes are 1 size smaller, done from looks like leather plastic, has plastic smell.
Return or exchange size are too comlicated and you'll pay for it.
Only one plus is: they are really soft.
These faux leather shoes didn't worth money as a real leather.

WARNING I've been scammed, don't buy from Chloe and Liam. I responded to an Instagram ad suggesting 'Premium leather that adapts to your foot' what arrived after waiting two weeks was plastic. After much backwards and forward emails (they clearly didn't want the shoes back) I posted them back to China at a cost of £16. My order was for £80 and I've just had a refund notice for £6.88

Reported to Trading Standards. Unregistered Chinese company posing as UK company via a flashy website. No company registration number on the website or in any of their policies. Illegal. Do not buy from them!

Disappointing First Order Experience
After a 14-day wait, I received my first order from this company, but it was a major letdown. The shoes arrived in a plain white plastic bag with bubble wrap, lacking the expected shoe box. Worse, they didn’t resemble the images or description on the website and Instagram. Instead of the loafers I ordered, they felt like cheap plastic slippers, with a terrible odor. At £79, this quality and misrepresentation are unacceptable. I’m very disappointed and have requested a refund, hoping for a hassle-free process. I advise others to be cautious and verify details before ordering.

As I wrote previously (see 'The second Pair scheme'), they pretend to be British, sell substandard products, and do not allow returns. They replied to my post, stating that it is not true and that they would contact me to resolve the issue. How? Will they become British? Do they have a British return address, as they state on their parcel? Yes, they contacted me endlessly: they proposed to me a 10% money return instead of 30% previously offered, and they are bombarding me with endless propositions to buy from them again. Also, they state that they are British on this Trustpilot website! Pay attention: nothing has changed. Also, you could find many pages, like "Chloe', 'wearchloe', many of them. Try to investigate. I am very impressed by the incredible impudence of these people.

The product you receive is nothing like the pictures. It takes long to arrive, it comes without a box, quite dirty, poorly made and it smells like plastic. Don’t waste your money.

One of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Chloe and Liam shop sells cheap products shipped directly from China. The orders take over two weeks to deliver even though. They say it takes a few business days to reach UK customers; IT DOES NOT!! If your order even makes it to you. In my case, it didn’t. They don’t deliver to the addressee properly, parcels get lost, and they take no responsibility when things go wrong.
I could already see from the tracking that delivery would take too long, so I contacted them before they even shipped my order to request a refund. I explained clearly that I was going on holiday and didn’t want the parcels to arrive while I was away, risking them being lost or stolen. They refused outright — no flexibility, no empathy, no basic customer care.

In the end, the parcels never arrived at all. Despite this, customer service still refused to reimburse me and were completely unhelpful throughout. No apology, no solution, just stonewalling and denial.

If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid Chloe and Liam shop like the plague. You’ll get long waits, missing parcels, and a company that couldn’t care less about its customers.

I'd give no stars if I could.

As others have said, although purports to be a UK company, delivery is from China and took 3 weeks. The shoes were too small (I'm usually v standard size 5).
The website tells you not to return to the senders address. I'm currently on email number 4 trying to find where to send the return. They clearly want to a) avoid returns presumably because they're actually based in China and b) run down the return period so they can refuse to refund me. They keep offering money off future orders (as if!)
Really annoyed with myself for not researching more before I bought from them. I hope you learn from my experience & have nothing to do with them.

I ordered these shoes in good faith, knowing the price I was paying was top of my range for good quality shoes, on sale.
The shoes looked lovely in the photoes and I ordered two pairs for me and one for my sister, as a gift. I placed my order over five weeks before I travelled, to make sure I'd receive the shoes in good time to take to my sister abroad. The shoes did not arrive before I left, after emailing the company a number of times to check on this and other issues ( shoe sizes, which was not resolved to my piece of mind). When I came back from my holiday and saw the shoes, I realised I had been scammed. The shoes with buckles on did not have real buckles, they had a piece of velcro stitched on, and badly stitched on, at that! The 'comfy' pairs that had stitched soles in the photos, had not actually been stitched, but glued on. One pair was not even finished properly, with a line of plastic glued on in the inside surrounding the shoe. The laces that came with them are horribly cheap and the colour doesn't match. The suede on the top of two pairs seems soft, but the workmanship is terrible, for that price. I may have bought the best finished pair for £15 at a market stall, maybe, but for the £59 to £69 I spent on each of these pairs of shoes, it's a rip-off and a scam. I suggest Trustpilot stops working with them unless they refund each pair to us unhappy customers, fully. These companies need to be illegal, enough of us have been robbed!!

I’m so annoyed with myself . Do not buy from this company . should have read the Trustpilot reviews before o purchased. The website and contacts led me to believe the company was uk based. Instead they are in China. I’ve had a delay on reviving my order. 2 weeks and counting . They were promised in 3-5 working days . Communication has been so poor. Hey ho . I lived and learn. So my order arrived , they are ok but not leather as far as I can tell , roughly packaged and tbh really a Primark quality not what the adverts suggest .

goods nothing like the photos and descriptions, so called 'premium soft leather' shoes stank of plastic. Can't get hold of customer services to return / refund
