I ordered shoes from Chloe & Liam believing it was an independent brand designing “premium” fashion pieces. The product imagery and branding strongly suggested original design work. However, I later found the exact same shoes on AliExpress for under £8, confirming this is a dropshipping store, not a design-led label.

I cancelled my order within 24 hours and was told it was “on hold.” But the item was shipped before I had a chance to reply, and I was warned I would be charged a 15% “restocking fee” to stop dispatch — even though the item hadn’t shipped yet.

No business address is listed clearly on the site, and the refund/cancellation policy appears to contradict UK consumer law.

I’ve reported the store to Shopify and my bank for misleading conduct. I would not recommend this store due to the lack of transparency and unethical customer service practices.

Ordered a pair of sandals without checking any reviews. Shoes turned up several weeks later in a plastic bag not a box! The quality is a poor imitation of the images on the website. Pretty sure they are completely made of plastic and the heel is even printed to make it look like wood! Unfortunately the returns policy is also misleading and it’s looking unlikely that I’ll get any money back. Definitely would not recommend.

I am trying at the moment to send shoes back at a cost to myself of £12-20 pounds to try and get a refund but I still haven't got any details to send back. Just credit or 20% back and keep the shoes which I don't want. They really make it very difficult for you if you wish to return. Keep clear of this company and save yourself the stress!

These shoes stink of plastic so not leather as advertised. No sizes marks on shoe no stickers showing what uppers/soles are made of. I have pointed this out to them and the shoes are still listed as leather not plastic so now it is a lie not a mistake as they have chosen not to correct the listing.

They keep dragging it out offering me a discount to keep them or to return at my cost to then get a refund.

Doing the upmost to not refund money according to website it is a scam reported to action fraud and bank DO NOT purchase anything. Left review few days back regarding quality plastic shoes! delivered bubble wrap..my consumer rights to get a refund

This is most definitely a scam company. The shoes I ordered took a long time to arrive & when they did they were just wrapped loosely in bubble wrap & in a plastic envelope. The quality of the shoes was nothing like the photos on the website. I foolishly had not checked where their returns were to be sent to. It is China! So the chances of getting a refund are looking very slim. I spent over £120 with this company & have been well & truly fleeced. Definitely do NOT buy.

Got scammed after buying on a whim. Shoes arrived weeks later in bubble wrap in an envelope. They are cheap looking, plasticky and not at all the quality you see in the photos. Not worth returning them as you have to email, get permission from them, then pay postage and lose 15% of the price of the shoes.

I usually check returns policy, trust pilot etc but was impulsive this time. Never again!

So disappointing. The shoes are *nothing* like the picture, and they're about a half size too small. Have emailed about a refund, but you only get a refund if the item is returned within 14 days. The cost for this will be extortionate since they have to go back to China. (In a moment of true stupidity I didn't check the company's location before ordering, and they don't make this information accessible, which makes this whole experience feel pretty scammy)

Only get 2 stars as they didn't take an age to arrive. Extremely disappointed. £60 entirely down the drain :(

Chinese company pretending to be British - no clue on website. Ordered one pair. The order magically turned into two pairs and they were both charged for and delivered despite the second pair being cancelled. Quality adequate, not great. Many many emails have ensued. Either a credit or a 20% refund. It's a scam, keep your money or buy British.

Took a while to receive my order but the waiting was worth it 100. A shame the shoes were a bit tight but a lady called Anna was very helpful and is going to send me a free coupon for as exchange with the right size. I really recommend this company. The quality of the leather and design is excellent and beautiful.

Love the style, and the size is perfect for my narrow feet. However, finishing is poor. Very scratchy stitching on the inside where the buckle is, so tape needed. Also "vero cuoio" stamp on sole is misleading. Should be on the inside, if they are real leather.

Poor quality and nothing like the picture. The sizing is not right and I am not even sure that they're made of leather.

Ive emailed customer services - anyone think im.getting my £65 back ?

Update. No email after this message and "customer services" say can have 20% of my money back or swap them for some other shoes from the site if I pay postage.

Absolute scammers

Final.update - refunded my money and now trying to get review deleted. Just awful
