Ordered Windlass Solenoid, got part from 3rd party vendor (this was not indicated nor were any restrictions on returning).
Opened and realized it did not match current part.
First thing the following morning I requrested an RMA per their website instructions.
Initial response was I'd have to pay 35% restocking fee (NO mention of this anywhere on their website). Whatever, it's a $40 lesson so go ahead with RMA request.
After the holiday weekend I receive an email that an RMA is not possible because their 3rd party vendor denies due to being an electronic part.
So now I'm going through the charge-back process.
As it turns out, their return policy, doesn't allow returns on solenoids. For some reason the RMA email didn't reach someone who is knowledgable on this and could have cleared this up quickly.
Seems a bit deceiptful imho as there is no mention on the part page that this is not eligible for return. Still would not do business again.
