AJS contracting roofers and Milestone…
AJS contracting roofers and Milestone in Bracknell are the most unprofessional companies I have ever encountered and they have breached their contracts because the female manager and one of the foreman’s has purposefully got me targeted by AJS contracting roofers who are Milestones’s subcontractors. They keep blasting excessively loud music in our close from 10.00am-15.30 pm from 1 February 2025 after AJS left for the day around 13.00 pm, Milestone workers continued to blast music and these particular workers who haven’t been in our close before certainly knew who I was and turned up the music two separate occasions when I came out of my house, and they kept looking over at my house.
On 2 February 2025 which was a Sunday AJS contracting roofers turned up unexpectedly to us at midday they purposefully placed their radio on the corner of the scaffolding nearest to my house, and overlooking the front of our close above the houses which are built really close to my row of houses, because their music had the most impact on me in my house and it sounded in every room in my house and I couldn’t get away from it, whilst all the workers and several bosses stood in the close being rowdy and they kept looking over at my house when I opened my kitchen windows or moved around my kitchen or came out of my house going about my day.
One of the men walked over to the port a loo which is opposite my house whistled he was intimidating and then walked back to the others. They have continued to target me every day with being rowdy intimidating and blasting excessive music as I go about my day inside my house and when I leave it and walk up the close. despite Abri ringing them directly on 4 February 2025 whilst they were working in our close to tell them to stop blasting music. I have been targeted for the second time after I asked the other foreman for no whistling targeting me and no music from the new contracting roofers, after D J Walker got sacked by Abri for doing the same thing in 2024. I haven’t recovered from being targeted by two scaffolders of Global Scaffolding who were sub contracted by Milestone, they surrounded my house and whistled at me for six-seven hours a day every day when I was inside my house and intimidated me by watching me when I left my house turning round and whistling in my face whilst glaring at me and they swore at me and made it unsafe for me to go to and from my house for 3.5 months, and the police including acting sergeant were not interested in helping me at all despite me reporting it to them. despite me contacting their boss and Milestone countless times, because the foreman and the female manager, you know who you are, purposefully didn’t tell them to stop and ignored all my emails plus the foreman put the phone down on me when I rang him up to report them, I only said my name he ended the call and switched off his phone. Disgusting, the female boss on 27 September at my front door purposefully didn’t answer my questions and purposefully misled me to believe that the appointment we set up on the Monday was for someone to take pictures of every room in my house, is exactly what this woman said and I asked why and she said survey. It tuned out it was completely untrue and no such thing was taking place. She was angry at me on the phone after she received my email before the Monday me saying I cancelled they appointment as I didn’t feel comfortable about pictures being taken in my house as my house n association hadn’t told me anything. She also said she didn’t believe me about the scaffolders targeting me when, on 1 October 2024 the first day the scaffolding went up, I saw the Forman and the two scaffolders who targeted me for months take pictures of each other dropping f books outside my bedroom window, I’m downstairs and they knew perfectly well what their behaviour is like. She asked me for proof so I recorded them from inside my house when they were on the roof and sent the recordings and videos to her but the abuse didn’t stop.
Now this with AJS. As I say AJS haven’t worked here before they haven’t seen me before and I’m having these companies prosecuted, my local counsillor has contacted the top boss of Abri to notify them of these contractors disgusting behaviour. I have full evidence captured on my cameras at the front and back of my house and I will see you in court.

Torque scaffolders came next door in South Wootton Kings Lynn. Did not know they were coming. First removed part of adjoining fence to access theirs through ours, Changed their minds as our access is on far side of house and they would have to trample our lawn and pass our whole house with poles etc. Then piled wooden boards etc on our drive blocking shed and access for 2nd car. Blocked our complete drive trapping us from driving out. We had plans and appointments. Said they were trespassing and to remove stuff. This was not for access just to make it a dumping ground for poles and planks. Our front drive is sand brick and weight may damage bricks. They could have dumped stuff on next doors garden. Said they'd rang the bell but doesn't mean they can trespass. really! 'Dear neighbour give permission for scaffolding to be dumped all over your private drive' Said that next door should have sorted it with us Moved stuff finally and then told me to go back in doors as they'd moved it.. Younger one mouthed off at me calling me names and threatened my adult son. I am a disabled 74 year old War Veteran and don't need rude trespassers like this. I felt threatened. Disgusting behaviour because they can't use our private drive to dump equipment to make it easier for them when next door had their own access and garden space. Don't know when they are coming back but do Not want whole drive blocked. Large lorries usually park over the road. Rude attitude-rude behaviour. CAUGHT ON CAMERA and PHONE. Would give less than one star if i could.

We had a great newyears night out at wooler riverside club the staff worked there a @se of to entertainment us ,.the food was excellent the entertainment excellent how ever there is always one in the club who seem to think if they moan enough they may get there money back .there must have been 209 +in the room and all you could hear is (has far as one woman was concerned is the lighting was wrong the food was wrong the entertainment was wrong .listening to this woman moan was weird the staff seemed to
Go all out to please her .one person should not be allowed to try and spoil the night how the manageress managed to keep her cool was outstanding .any way my thanks to the manageress and staff for a real good newyears eve party .

As it was my wife Birthday,we thought that we would book at this restaurant pub for Sunday lunch,as we were staying in Sand Balls park,with the family there was 6 grown up and two children dog.
The restaurant was clean suprising as it’s a dog friendly restaurant
We were seated in a quite corner and the service fair, most of us ordered a roast dinner cost £22 which was beef,
I was surprised how tough the beef was it was like leather boots.when asked at the table, was everything was ok, I did say it was to not my liking but fell on deaf ears, being a Birthday lunch it was not the time to make a scene, so I decided just to leave and write a letter, which has not been replied to as this was in October 2024.
My advice is if you decide to go to the Royal Oak pub at North Gorley, don’t have the beef unless you want to walk home on it

I had been taking surveys on the Rakutin Survey site for years then as soon as I cashed out my points for my reward they sent me a email saying I was no longer able to be a member of their site they really didn't give much of a reason but they did say they were keeping my reward. Whydid they do this when I cashed out ? Something is fishy. Just beware of this site so it doesn't happen to you.

Complete rip off prices for ‘drop off’. Inadequate and outdated facilities and software for check in. Security too small to cope with many passengers, not enough seating in main departures, shops and bar areas too small, departure gates inadequate to cater for more than one flight departing at same time, boarding software seems unable to cope with demand - on rebooting the computer it was noted that it appeared to use Windows 95!!

we stayed in a mersham chalet clean and tidy when we got there lovely chalet but the heating could be approved because when you wake up in the morning it is freezing you have an electric fire in the front room area which takes forever to heat up the chalet storage heater sort of things in the bedroom which are rubbish as they don't work and are useless the bed was hard there was some sort of stain on our duvet cover the front door had no privacy glass or. Curtain so anyone could see in the mantainence sorted the front door out when we reported it straight away and put a blind up on the door for more privacy also the food in the boathouse prices are extortionate
The Atholl Palace Hotel was amazing
The Atholl Palace Hotel was amazing. The hotel is a castle in Pitlochry, Scotland. The staff were friendly, particularly Paige in the Stag Bar, nothing was too much trouble.
The location is perfect to visit neighbouring towns. The pool and spa is peaceful and was free as part of my package.
The food was a truly wonderful experience, fresh, tasty and so filling. We had a 4 day, 3 night package stay at the hotel to include breakfast, 3 course evening meal, superior room and prosecco in the room on arrival and afternoon tea. 4 star hotel with 5 star luxury. Would recommend.

What a great job! Just fitted a kitchen from Magnet which was designed by Karen in the Sutton branch, had few little issues gave her a call and she was great sorted the issues straight away, couldn't ask for an easier fit. Will recommend Magnet to all my clients.

Why are my parcels dumped at or just over the drive gates and nowhere near the house where ther e is a suitable parcel box at the front door!
This has happened 3 times within the last 10 days.
It is always the same driver and his own photo shows todays parcel is NOT near the garage as stated! On the 2 previous occasions it was claimed that," the parcel was handed to resident" this is blatantly NOT true. Complaining to Amazon is a waste of time as nothing happens!
It's Full Fibre Day
The full Openreach Team arrived just after 08.00hrs on day specified. The engineer explained step by step how the new fibre optic would be installed. The whole operation was carried out efficiently with a minimum of fuss and little disruption inside our home. Outside works satisfactorily reinstated. We found the whole team friendly and helpful, making sure
everything was working properly before they left.
Extortionate postage costs
Ordered shoes for RUNNER INN which took 2 weeks to arrive. Poor fit so I returned them to SOUTHALL UK at a cost of £ 11-49. However, a glance at the cost to post me the shoes was only £5-99. Why did I have to pay £11-49p to RUNNER INN to return shoes to an UK address ? Complained to company and received an AI robot response. Postage costs for a pair of shoes that didn’t fit cost me £17-48 extortionate. Don’t recommend this company. Did not want to give them a1⭐️.

Each time that they reply telling me how sorry that they are and that they will pass it on to tech support I’ve been told to check and make sure I’m using new batteries or that I have to make sure that there is liquid in the nebuliser, I’ve been told to make sure that the power is switched on I’ve been asked on numerous occasions to send on video (which I have done ) just to go around the whole list over and over again
Please don’t touch this company with a barge pole. They should not be aloud to sell items on line

I visited TESCO in Beverley, E Yorks a month ago and used the car park, with 3 free hours of parking.
YesterdayI received a letter saying I have ignored the first letter as HORIZON CAR PARKS say I overstayed beyond the 3 hours.
First letter would have been £40 fine but now it was £70.
IT DID NOT ARRIVE AND IT WAS THE PERFECT SCAM
Went into Tesco and asked for the manager.
They were off for 2 days and customer services couldnt help.
AFTER TALKING TO THE LADY ON THE SERVICE DESK, a senior assistant appeared and took the letter saying she would give it to the Manager when he or she returned.
I dispute the time as we actually timed our stay and we were a couple of minutes early back to the car.
I never received the first letter otherwise I would have acted as I am now,within a day of receiving the letter.

SO.......It took a while to contact Tesco.
After a week or so, I decided to ring Tesco again and try to find the right dept.to complain to, as there was no option on the phone for my complaint.
When I got thro to Customer Services, a man called JASON told me he would get it cancelled.
OMG, the relief.
The customer service dept were brilliant and he has given me advice as to how to handle them if they rang again BASICALLY IGNORE THEM
so Thanks JASON, youre a star.

One shirt described as cotton linen - is a synthetic fabric and very poor quality. Second is linen/ cotton as described but is also pretty cheap looking.

My partner and her friend visited Cote in Frederick street Edinburg on 16/06/24 unfortunately after their meal she left her shopping in the restaurant, on returning home she phoned the restaurant and was asked to email her details which she did she got a reply thanking her for the email and they would contact the restaurant and if she had not heard from them within 2 days phone the restaurant on the number they supplied so on the 21st of June I rang the restaurant again and was told they would post it that day but it never arrived
