We sent a lab power supply for repair, and received a repair quote that was more than twice the value of the equipment. Requests for more details on the nature of the problem and proposed repairs were answered with nonsense obviously generated by AI.

While deciding how to proceed, Acme began applying "storage fees" of $25 per day, which they happily point out we agreed to in some fine print somewhere. Their normally-responsive email update system went silent until the accrued storage fees vastly exceeded the value of the equipment.

Their business model appears to be to collect "diagnostic" fees and storage fees, and/or end up owning your device once the fees exceed its value.

I have a refurbished oxygen concentrator that needed repair and maintenance. The company I used to use stop doing these items so I started looking for someone to take their place. I asked them to use a prior invoice from the last repairs I had done to give me an estimate of how they compared, they refused to do so. So I took a chance and sent it to them which cost almost $100. Their quote was over $1200, I could replace it for $400 and new they are about half that. They are charging me $89 for the estimate, no wonder they wouldn't give me an idea before I shipped it. I told them to keep it, but they said they would charge me storage. If you have a choice, go to someone else. Oh and you can't call them.

I will Never use or trust this company again. If I was asked, I would say this company appears to be a scam. I had a digital Stethoscope that the power button was not depressing fully anymore. By online chat through Acme's website, they said they believed they could fix my specific item and problem. I mailed in the stethoscope and was contacted almost a week later, saying they had performed a "diagnostic" had determined the problem and could fix it for $224.40. They also make you sign a waiver that, in the fine print, states that they don't guarantee they can fix it, even if they say they believe they can. Then 1 week later I received an email that simply said that my Unrepaired item was being shipped back to me. No explanation on why they couldn't fix it or what they did do or find. They also do not accept phone calls and will only message by email if at all. When my digital stethoscope arrived it was badly cosmetically damaged, the power button was now Missing completely, and it didn't work At All anymore. I reached out to their "customer service" and was told that A)they do not ever provide refunds even if an item can't be fixed. and B) they asked to see proof of the damage and missing button. I sent pictures of the damage and where the button was clearly missing, then they Never responded to my emails again. They are now actively refusing to offer any type of refund or even answer my emails again. I have read of similar experiences and I would recommend, if asked, that you do Not trust them with any of your equipment. They asked me for money after stating they could fix it, then sent it back unrepaired, damaged, missing a necessary piece, and in worse condition. And with no offer of any refund or offer to return my missing button.

Junk we sent a drone in to be repaired it costed $350 and it's still not repaired we had to tell them what was wrong with it and then they charged us for an extra strong diagnosis and then it took a month and a half to get it back unrepaired and $350 later definitely don't do business with these people because they are not repairing stuff they are charging you and sending it back broke

I normally don’t do reviews, let alone bad reviews but this needs to be known to anyone who is considering using their services.

Sent in my equipment for repair. They were very responsive at the beginning until payment. One payment received, I only receive an update everytime I asked, despite having an exclusive tracker website for my device.

Upon (finally) returning my device, the job was so bad that the charging port fell off at first use. (When I eventually got another technician from another company to check, the port was just glued on instead of soldered on)

Anyway, I wrote to ACME to inform of the situation, not expecting much from it. I was surprised that they gave me the option to either send it in again or to opt for a refund. I felt grateful at that time and decided to get the refund instead of sending my device in a second time.

As you can guess, this is not a happy ending as week after week I enquired about the refund status, and customer service replies indicate that the refund is being processed and I will be notified. One month later, after multiple assurance, on my fourth reminder, I was sent a long email detailing that I’ve signed a prior agreement to accept the charges etc etc. Mind you, I was OFFERED the option to refund and REASSURED that the refund is being processed.

Needless to say I was taken aback and that was my last bit of patience to this company. At this point, I’m very sure I will not be seeing any refund (or apologies) from the company. Just be wary.

Sent a drill for repair, they could not, told them to toss it, no answer. then a month later a bill for over $500 for "storage", PAID IT , finally. asked for it back, crickets.

Agree with prior reviewer. This company is an absolute scam. Stereo Microscope was returned as repaired and left and right lenses focal length is way different which makes scope unusable. 1 lense matches internal camera focus the other does not. Repeated e-mails failed to solicit resolution.

I have been waiting months for a repair, refuse to return the equipment and refund the money. no return calls and limited response by chat. Feels like a scam or very poor run company. see battling to resolve

This is absolutely a scam operation. I sent an Activator V chiropractic adjusting tool which needed a new circuit board soldered in and was otherwise in perfect working order. They kept it for months, only communicated with me when I asked about it, finally decided they couldn't fix it, and when they finally sent it back, they sent an entirely different unit and stole the battery out of it. I'm glad I "only" lost $350 on a $2,000 tool, but I wish that I had never gotten involved with this group.

Do not send your Drone to them. This company is just out to rip you off. I sent them my drone, it needed a frimware flash to calibrate the gimble. They wanted 4 hours labor and $342.00 in parts. For a DJI mini2 se. I asked them for a breakdown on the parts, they refused. They told me my $535.00 invoice was not negotiable. I had to pay $89.00 plus shipping to get my unrepaired drone back.

They Destroyed my sensor not fixed it. took them 2 months to finish a repair that was so badly done. they did not replace the cord on the sensor they fixed it with electric tape and it was coming off. I sent it back again and they sent it right back to me. Run away from this company.

they are dishonest-Stay away.Told me to send in my binoc. charged me more than they cost and didnt fix them.
They should be reported to better business.

I wish I had taken the time to review them. Their phone number does not go anywhere. I contacted through email. Declined repair due to cost, but there was no Credit card option to pay the bench fee, only wanted a money transfer or hard check. I was told through email that there was not CC option. Still not able to get through my companies red tape to get a check, meanwhile the 'storage fees' are building up. I was contacted by a person to remind me of our past due fees and when I told them we were trying to get a check because they don't take CC's, I was told that they do take CC's and now suddenly there is a CC option. I have screen shots of the original options. I paid the bill but have not received a confirmation email and it's not showing paid when I return to the pay now section. I'm afraid to pay again because it looks like it's not paid, but I don't trust that I won't be double charged. Meanwhile, they can still charge more storage fees. Please, do not use this company. I'm going to get into a lot of trouble for going outside of our normal buyers to give this company a chance. Don't make the same mistake.

One star is too many! Good luck getting a response on their "online only" model. DO NOT do business with this company, they are a sham. The final total of my invoice did not add up correctly, added $50 somewhere with no line item. They do not offer support, basically say look at the website, you're on your own. TERRIBLE COMPANY

I wish that I had seen the reviews before I sent my binoculars for repair. Now they are gone. I filing a police report but don't expect to get a result. It is hard to deal with a firm like this across the country.

This company is extremely crooked and does shady business. They did not accept my form of payment and charged an astronomical fee for storage. This is a disgrace to the biomed industry. 0/10.

This company is a scam. We had ordered 3 pieces of used equipment (US$ 3,3327). Two days, later we decided to cancel our order. They told us by email that we would be reimbursed ASAP. Three months later we still haven't been reimbursed, and they don't answer emails or chats. PEOPLE NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

This company is deceitful, they give a low ball quote until they have what you want to have repaired and then jack the price up ($115 -$180). They had my device for two weeks before they acknowledged that they even had it!
I paid the jacked up price of $321 to get the inverter repaired, after weeks and weeks they were unable to repair the inverter and sent it back. Liam B said I would get a refund but have not received any money back or I have not heard from Liam B. This company is not on the up and up. I wish I had looked at the reviews. Don't use this company!!

I’m only giving one star because I can’t give them Lower than that. The absolute worst customer experience I’ve had in my
Life. They require payment up front which is fine but you can never reach them to find out when your equipment will be sent back. When we finally received ours back it didn’t work. I spent 3 weeks trying to get a live person on the phone to let me know what adjustments were needed to get it working after shipping. Do not trust them with you equipment or your money. I would Never recommend them to anyone.

ACME REVIVAL performed service on a refrigerated centrifuge I was using for a grad school project. They did a great job. Unit arrived back very clean as well.
