Alpha Cars Avis 

Never had a problem with alpha cars. Bookings always turn up, sometimes a few minutes late but that's no problem. Drivers have always been cordial. People that answer the phones are always willing to help

They might be ok for on the day within 30 minutes bookings but certainly not for any pre-books. Twice now they simply don’t turn up despite the app saying they’re en route. Totally unreliable

Booked a taxi about 12:45 today to be picked up at 2:45 in manor royal manhattan building I saw the driver go past put he never turned up 10 minutes go past and I get voicemail from driver I called back the driver was no where near me he kept saying he’s at the right place I tried explaining where to go but he kept talking over me so I said don’t bother I’ll get someone else to pick me up very annoyed and angry with today’s service for someone like myself who is vulnerable and doesn’t do well in hot weather I nearly passed out due to the heat I don’t recommend after today’s service I’ve used this company for a year

I do not recommend Alpha cars. Despite booking a taxi two days in advance, I had to wait for half an hour for a taxi. When I called the operator, he pretended to deceive me. For me, he simply lied, because when I drove, he said that the taxi would be there soon, it would be there in 5 minutes. On the application, he allocated me a driver, where it showed that it would be there in 4 minutes, then again it showed me a different driver and a different arrival time. After which I actually had to wait for half an hour. The operators were rude and impolite. I am very disappointed, especially since I spent a lot of money for these unprofessional services.

The Adelphi Hotel ordered a cab for me when driver arrived asked me my destination when said Lime Street Station. which is short distance from hotel he accelerated away despite me telling him that had mobility issues

Booked a 'dog' cab, and they turned up over an hour late and then complained about taking a dog. Told us to get out if we weren't happy with it. Disgusting attitude particularly after being so ridiculously late to collect us. Problem is Alpha Cars have the monopoly so we have no choice but to use them. Would never use again otherwise!

Just horrible company , avoid if you can . Pre booked two days in advance , driver showed up 15 minutes late . Different price in the app , then charged another amount and the driver asked for additional money !

Booked a week in advance and was then told there were no cars after I called 15 mins after pick up time. How can that happen when you book something? I see it’s happened many times with these people. How can you just leave people stranded and continuously lie when I called to find out what’s happening! Thank goodness I had friends to help. This company is not fit for purpose. AVOID.

I phoned Alpha cabs to get a quote for a particular journey: they quoted me £30.
When I made the journey, the driver charged me £40, and he went the wrong way at one point, so I had to get him to turn around.
Too expensive.
Not a good experience!

Fraudulent transactions taken from our bank because they got out bank details after 1 taxi trip, charged us double and we've had to cancel bank cards because of it and raise a fraud payment cause, they set us up on a monthly subscription of £100 a month which the bank noted thankfully to cancel it and cancel our cards, absolutely disgusting

I got a taxi from home to work, the meter displayed £9.60, I was then charged £11. The taxi driver looked at me to see if I was looking, to which I was and still proceeded to charge me extra.

Taxi was 30 min late for a pre booked taxi, no explanation. When I called the office after 5 min, they said they were on their way and would be 10 min.

On the 15th of February, I was hit on and offered cocaine by one of the staff in the taxi office at joices yard. This made me very uncomfortable. He told me that his coke was the best in Basingstoke, as if that was something to be proud of. I politely declined, only to be told that if I change my mind to ask for Dan in the office. When i mentioned this to the security that managed the taxi queue, he smiled and agreed that Dan's coke was indeed the best. This has made me not want to use this service any longer as I'm not sure that everyone working there isn't high all the time!!! I am absolutely shocked that this company allows that kind of behaviour. My recommendation is that you stay clear from this taxi rank.

Booked car Saturday evening from ALPHA CARS RUISLIP MANOR for a 1pm pickup on the following day, Sunday. Circa 10/15 minutes prior to 1pm a call came from the office informing me, no cars no drivers available. This has happened on
one previous occasion. Frankly for a client of 20 years, this is unforgivable. Furthermore we noticed a car outside the office after a neighbour ran us to the station. I asked the driver if he drove for Alfa Cars. YES was his answer. My opinion, gve this company a wide berth

Richard is a legend, prompt pick up and service. Really appreciate it. Give that man a medal. Alpha Cars are Alpha for a reason

DO NOT USE!!! THEY TELL YOU A PRICE AND THEN CHARGE YOU ASTRONOMICAL PRICES ON ARRIVAL OF YOUR DESTINATION. HORRIFIC TAXI SERVICE.

From three horse shoes sherfield on loddon to baughurst around 9pm on a Friday. £27.00. No notification of price before hand.
Last trip from chineham club to baughurst £17.00. Google the distance for each. They still have no morals and charge what they can get away with. Monopoly should be dismantled.

Booked from the office. Waited about 10 mins outside office, which appeared closed but then a car appeared. Asked where other cars were but were told ‘somewhere else’
Journey cost £12 - £2 more than last time and £4 More from the first time.
I’m sad because I thought they were better than the competition in Todmorden

If I could I give you-100 I called for cab the man say to waiting 25 minutes , I agree to waiting ann he didn’t book me in . I been waiting 45 minutes outside and I’m freezing. 🥶 I hope this men who I talk have the same experience of mine . I never never will call this company. Ridiculous service
