Nothing with with the engineer. But the guy in office (Sam) shouldn’t be anywhere near a phone. Rude beyond credibility. Haavemt been hanged up twice. Simply by asking what wrong with machine. He just said we call tomorrow. And down goes the phone.
Won’t use them simply because of him.

I strongly advise anyone NOT to buy from Appliancentre.

I was initially lured in by a cheaper price than other online retailers for the same Miele dishwasher, together with a confirmed delivery slot for 29 October, 09:00–12:00. No one turned up and I received no call, no email, nothing.

After that, I sent several emails asking for an update or refund and received no reply at all. I tried calling multiple times and each time waited more than 10 minutes in the queue without anyone picking up. The online order status still showed the original delivery date as if everything was fine.

Eventually, I managed to get through to someone on the phone. The agent told me that they were unable to obtain the machine, even though it had been advertised as in stock at the time of my order, and that I would receive a full refund with written confirmation by email.

As of the following day, I still have no refund confirmation, despite this clear promise. When I asked about compensation for the extended delay, lack of communication and inconvenience caused, the agent simply hung up on me.

So I have had no delivery, no written confirmation of a refund, and extremely poor and dismissive customer service - it may be a complete scam!

THIS IS A SCAM - BUY ELSEWHERE

Purchased a washer dryer. They kept saying they would call to confirm delivery, but never called once. After many days of this, where they company didn't even try to communicate why there was a hold up or anything wrong, we asked for a refund. 3 weeks later - no refund. No communication whatsoever. This is a scam. Buy elsewhere. Don't put yourself through the stress.

Excellent communication, arrived early, worked fast, appliance now working fine. pleasant experience.

The service was so unbelievably bad. Please avoid! I don't understand how this business hasn't been closed down. I ordered an oven online a month and a half ago that never was delivered. I repeatedly called the shop, at first he said he'd ring back but never did. Then that they couldn't access their delivery notes, and until they could, wouldn't be able to deliver. This week he said that he had actually delivered it and when I said he wouldn't be able to prove that as I have never received it, he said he'd deliver it within 72 hours and if he failed to do so, he would refund the money. I have asked several times for a refund. Neither oven nor refund has arrived. Every phone call has ended with him hanging up on me.

Ordered 2 items, selected a delivery date plus time as instructed. On the date itself I rang to confirm since I had heard nothing. I was told that the order had not even been processed yet. When I expressed surprise, the man on the phone, who had broken English, said that the date was just the one I had selected, it didn’t mean that it was going to be delivered then. I expressed dismay (the delay has caused problems) upon which he shouted something and put the phone down. Horrible. Please avoid.

Bob is a lovely, reliable and honest engineer. He has years of experience which is enormously reassuring and works with all makes of appliances. I have called him out before and if ever I need anything mended will only use him!

They correctly diagnosed the issue, told us the repair to buy and then installed the parts. They did it well and our dishwasher is now working again. But it was hard to get hold of them and we had to call back and confirm for both appointments. Communication could be better.

Bob came on time. He explained everything brilliantly and did a speedy job in fixing my dishwasher. Thank you

I would have thought they would have had the part I knew it was the switch now I have to wait 3 to 4 days
for the part.

What a lovely man is Bob. Very kind, friendly, no judgement of the muck behind my appliance. Located the problem, fixed it in no time, waited a sec to let me clean the muck then off to his next job. Big thanks 🙏

Appliance Centre are reliable and always turn up promptly, without having to wait weeks for an appointment. Good service and highly recommended

I ordered a tumble dryer, and it was scheduled to arrive 7 days from ordering, it didn't arrive, I called to chase it and was encouraged it would come the next day, this continued for the next week or so, until they finally gave up and told me they couldn't deliver it and would issue a refund. After a full week I've received no refund, I've been trying to call them over the last few days, but have been left waiting in the queue for 20 minutes each time, and had the "theres no one to take your call, please leave a message" automated response, I would leave a message, but have still heard nothing.

I'm obviously extremely disappointed and would recommend keeping well away from this business.

Bad experience.

The item I bought (a Miele induction hob) was shown as ready to be delivered within two days. However, the delivery didn't happen. Over several days and calls, the customer support kept advising that delivery was imminent. But after nearly two weeks, nothing had arrived, so I called to cancel the order and Appliancentre apologised and accepted the cancellation.

However, 40 days after the cancellation, no refund had been received. No answer to any emails. Over the phone, customer support kept advising that the refund was "imminent", but it never arrived.

Therefore, my only option was to open a dispute via my credit card issuer, who investigated and refunded the full amount, thankfully.

Very happy with the delivery service of my new dishwasher and installation.I cant believe there are so many negative comments. Its my second purchase and delivery was as expected. Thank you!!

Support were rude and dismissive, now won't answer phone at all.

EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED!!!

The owner of Appliancentre is a scammer. His website makes him seem legit. He takes your money, then blocks you.Never delivers. Never returns your money! Look past the 5 star reviews and you will see the many 1 star reviews saying the same. The 5 stars are probably paid for.

I always pride myself when buying anything on line to read the reviews, however this time I only read a few (as they were all so excellent), therefore placing my order on line. My biggest mistake ever!!!!!!! I urge anyone using this company - read every comment, what the people say in the negative comments is 100% true, because everything they wrote, happened to me! Having to fight for your refund has been horrendous as I want to buy another appliance and can't afford to without my refund. I really don't know how companies like this stay in business and rip people off. The customer service is absolutely awful, and that's if anyone actually picks up the phone or speaks to you in a professional manner, and the emails never get answered.
I am a pensioner and in all my years I have never felt so angry and helpless about what I've had to put up with for the past 5 weeks. All I want is my refund returned to my account so I can move on and buy my new appliance with a better company.

These guys supplied and fitted a new washing machine and took away the old washing machine. They communicated their arrival in advance and delivered an excellent end to end service. Thank you for your smooth stress free efficient service.

Zero if possible. This is scam. Avoid at all cost. Customer service, sales and repair all the same person, who will hang up on you if you ask a question. Item will never be delivered and refund will never show up.
