Terrible service

Terrible service, waited 7 weeks for an order, 4 weeks received 1 of 3 items, 3 weeks later received email from B and Q to say seller has dispatched remainder of order. No correspondence from Arte-n furniture, therefore contacted them, and they have stated no items ordered, but payment taken? Absolute joke of a company!!

Awful company

Awful company, avoid unless you want to be ripped off. Item finally arrived after 6 weeks, damaged and not fit for purpose. I responded to an email I received wanting me to review on google reviews. I explained I was not happy to them, rather than going straight to putting a negative review online. What I got in return was a rude reponse, saying I should have noticed the defects when it was delivered (it was boxed up) and because it is assembled (it is a single shelf?) it cannot be returned. This is not in line with laws and selling regulations. They sell you a shoddy item and try and act above the law when you want to return it. A series of passive-aggressive emails followed, totally ruining my day. Shame on B&Q for allowing these cowboys to sell via your website.

Terrible company, do NOT use,

I ordered a TV media unit late December, now 8 plus week later it still has not arrived, when I call them to ask when i could expect it, they just say there are no deliveries in my area so they can not give me a date.

Cheap product, poor quality and dismissive service

Ordered through B&Q and unfortunately this came from a third-party seller who should not be on their platform. The product quality is awful, very cheap materials, and a part broke during normal assembly, which should never happen with a properly made item. It does not match how it was presented online.

When I contacted them, they refused a refund or return. The only “solution” offered was to send a replacement part — while acting like they were doing me a favour, and I’d have to wait another 3 weeks. That’s not a real resolution when the product itself is poor quality.

Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. This seller reflects badly on B&Q. Avoid if you don’t want the hassle

What a shocking company to deal with, haven’t even received our bunk beds. No attempted deliveries, a text message at 5pm on a Friday stating they wanted to deliver at 6am the following day. Which we refused, they are now claiming we must pay them to deliver our items.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. I ordered a sideboard on 13 Nov 2025. The B&Q website clearly stated it could be delivered by Christmas. Instead, I got a message from the third-party seller saying it would be delayed until late Jan / early Feb — and their idea of compensation was a measly £15 refund out of the £199 I paid!

As if that wasn’t bad enough, on 14 Jan I received yet another message saying the delivery would be delayed again, this time with no actual estimated date at all. This is completely unacceptable — false advertising, poor communication, and terrible customer service. Do not order from this seller.

Satisfied customer

This company were so easy to deal with. Everything made simple and straightforward.
Delivery was on schedule. Drivers were polite and helpful in bringing my package into the house.
I absolutely lovely my TV unit. Excellent quality and good value at the price, and looks great in my room.
I would have no qualms in dealing with Arte-n in the future and would recommend them to friends.

Chancers

Wouldn’t use this company again. Chancers to say the least. Sent out the wrong item and told me I had to take a 55% loss on my refund because the bed was half assembled. Although it was their mistake for not sending correct part. Instructions aren’t great. My experience with the company wasn’t pleasant. They did however send me the correct part after a lot of back and forth. But all in not a pleasant experience. Wouldn’t recommend

Avoid, lax, lazy, rude, unhelpful and poor customer service

I tried to sign up recently to purchase their products for my business Spacing Solutions. I called, and despite two phone numbers, one was disconnected and the other just rang out.

So I completed the sign up form and got no answer. So I emailed. I got asked the same questions I had already filled out, so left it. However, the company continued to pester me and then insinuated I wasn't a business to add insult to injury. As such I have fedback to them the laundry list of errors and wont be doing business with them as a result.

Avoid at all costs

Purchased 2 x Prestigo units through b&q third party sellers. Arte-n
Delivery, delay after delay after delay. Waited a total of 6 weeks for one of the purchased items.
Assembly instructions very poor.
Unit clearly has a design flaw, the unit doesn’t stand on its feet, unstable, unbalanced, the wood is bowed, sagging in the middle. Not fit for purpose whatsoever.
Feel free to contact me, as I will be contacting b&q and possibly taking this further if they refuse to refund me. They are currently saying because the item has been assembled they are unable to refund.
I am certain by the other reviews that this is an ongoing issue for others too.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid their furniture at all cost. It may appear acceptable on delivery but their products are not fit for purpose. After paying a joiner to construct the item it was later found to be faulty. Purchased through B&Q so I am trying to get some kind of refund to rectify the situation directly with the company. B&Q being useless so I am going go to dusputes and Ombudsman. Arte-N unwilling to accept any fault despite B&Q agreeing the item is faulty. I doubt anyone has ever got any apology or refund as they won't be held accountable. In trying to remedy the issue, at their suggestion, I damaged my back as the internal shelves fell. Do not waste your time, money or health!
