What an absolute shambles of a company that doesn't give a toss about its customers. Over a month now waiting for a refund for an undelivered birthday cake (£104.99). Apparently they can take your money instantly but when it comes to refunds you have to wait at least 20 days. Avoid like the plague, avoid total disappointment. Remember you can only celebrate that special moment once, you can't go back. Don't let these shysters spoil it for you.
Just look at the reviews, you have a 14% chance that your order is not going to end well.

Had a last-minute party for my son returning from university and needed something special quickly. bakerdays' next day delivery was perfect! The photo cake with pictures from his graduation was emotional for all of us. The cake was fresh and tasty - we chose the vanilla option which was light and not too sweet. Everyone commented on both the quality of the photos and the taste of the cake. Great service when you're in a rush but don't want to compromise on quality.

Great communication with regards to what was required for a work anniversary cake. Arrived on time and looked and tasted amazing. I would definitely use bakerdays again. Thank you again for all the hard work you put into making each cake a wonderful experience.

My grandma’s 90th birthday cake was delivered without a hitch. We had a photo of her from her 20s printed on it and she was so touched. It was a great mix of sentimental and delicious. Thank you bakerdays.

Did not bother to make, inform or deliver my daughter’s seventh birthday cake. Avoid these scammers!

Post to this sad experience they did try to heal wounds and provide an extra cake day, however post the child’s birthday good luck trying to get others to attend. Once it’s burned it’s burned I won’t use them again

I am very disappointed with Baker Day’s service. We ordered a cake for my son’s first birthday on April 30th, with delivery scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd. We paid £9 for the Saturday delivery. Unfortunately, the cake didn’t arrive, and due to the bank holiday on Monday, I could only get in touch with them on Tuesday. They promised to send the cake that day and to refund the delivery fee, which I had to request. The cake still didn’t arrive, and when I followed up the next day, they couldn’t provide any updates. We still haven’t received the cake, the refund, or any response. There was no confirmation email or follow-up. I am very dissatisfied with their communication and service. I do not recommend them.

I ordered a cake on the 2nd of May 25, and realised its not going to be done by said date, about 30 minutes later I cancelled the order to get a reply showing the order, now on the 6th May 4 days later, I get another email stating its 2 late to cancel as its already being made.
In UK your given a change of mind period, but no still went about and made it anyway.

I ordered a birthday cake + balloon set, paying extra for Saturday delivery. The cake was delivered but the theme matching balloon wasn't. Despite multiple emails I've had no apology, offer of refund or any compensation. Deeply disappointed. Would not recommend!

Sometimes the mark of a great service is how they handle problems. Bakerdays gain top marks if this is so. Searching for a birthday cake for a lady who loves purple, Bakerdays already came up trumps. Knowing that we would be away to celebrate, I used their specified delivery date service to programme a delivery 2-3 days before departure. From tracking systems I determined that Bakerdays got everything ready on track for a successful delivery. However the courier let us all down, failing to deliver on time on 2 successive days. Anna at customer service couldn’t have been more empathic and facilitating. When all seemed lost before my deadline for departure, she dispatched a second cake with a different courier. Somehow, her negotiations with the original courier paid off, as 2 cakes arrived in quick succession literally an hour before the deadline, both in pristine condition expertly packaged! I suspect that it takes a special organisation attuned to how important it is to meet celebratory deadlines, that they would write off the cost of one cake in order to avoid letting a customer down big time. Made up for a very anxious 48 hours, primarily caused by a very poor courier performance!

Ordered cake with a steam train picture. Was well packed and arrived on time. Cake was cut 3 days later and was delicious. The recipient of the cake was delighted with the train as he said it actually looked like a steam train. Would definitely recommend this company and would use again myself.

This is not the first time I have used Baker days. Every time they do not disappoint. Always delivered on time, packaged well. No problem with the presentation of the cake. I have ordered 2 lemon drizzle ones before but this last one OMG it was absolutely scrumptious. I am diabetic but I had to taste it which was a mistake as I could have eaten the whole cake in one go. The cakes are always fresh and ours have been up to about 3 days later, probably longer but they are too irresistible. I would recommend Baker days if you are looking for the perfect cake.

When my son said he wanted a dinosaur cake for his 5th birthday, I was dreading trying to make one myself. bakerdays came to the rescue with their amazing dinosaur range! The T-Rex design was detailed and vibrant, and my son's face lit up when he saw it. Several parents at the party asked where I got it from. The sponge was soft and fresh, and even the fondant icing was tasty - something that's not always the case with decorated cakes.

Ordered cricket birthday cake. Arrived on time and as ordered. Looked amazing and was delicious. Although letterbox sized arrived in a keepsake tin rather than cardboard box other companies use. Will definitely use bakerdays again.
