We were shown options and the sale was progressed quickly. The sales person picked up on the fact that we were pressed for time.

The team turned up on time and were very quick with the delivery.

Alan the Salesman was very polite & he was a good sales man. There is only one pitfall having to.pay for delivery. I would Have thought as the bed was over £2000 POUNDS that the delivery would be free.

Gentleman was very clear and knowledgeable answered all my questions

In store (peel centre Gloucester) they were brilliant to be honest with you but over the phone (wherever that may be for customer service) they were about as useful as a concrete parachute. Bought a bed years ago wanted to get this bed covered because it was an expensive bed and bought another for my daughter The woman in the store ( Cheltenham branch)at the time decided to insure the wrong bed because why not. So because the sides have where the slat holders go have dipped down and they’ve been repaired before when I’ve contacted customer support they said it’s wear and tear. How can it be wear and tear if you had to repair it a year or 2 into me having the bed? Would never ever shop there again in any branch.

Great advice in store and delivery went smoothly.. only one little hiccup was the mattress protector delivered was for a single not the small double to match the mattress ordered. This was rectified immediately when visiting the store.

The showroom is looking very tired. Staff was ok but could have been much better. With another bed store nextdoor. We received better service from them but bought a bed here because it was a better price and better quality. Staff was helpful in the end. A smile goes a long way. Was even offered a drink nextdoor.

Having recently bought a new bed, mattress and headboard from Bensons in Gloucester we were assured during the sale that the mattress, which alone was almost £2300, had a 40 night sleep trial. If at any time we felt that the mattress was not right for us we could exchange it for another one, providing it was not damaged and a mattress topper had been used at all times.
Within 8 nights it was obvious that the mattress was not suitable for someone like me who has a severe arthritic condition, and returned to the store to select another more suitable mattress.
The sales man who sold us the bed, I won’t name him but his name rhymes with ‘ Bob ‘, was sitting talking to 2 of his colleagues and so we explained the situation to him. Immediately he went into defence mode and along with his colleagues just kept repeating the mantra ‘ ring customer service’ and didn’t want to help in any way whatsoever. Also we were informed that to reselect another mattress would cost us 10% of the original price of the mattress, £230 plus another delivery charge making a total of almost £300!
At no time during the sale did ‘Bob’ ever mention this.
As I would rather chew my own arm off than give this bunch of clowns any more of my hard earned money, I will probably sell the mattress privately, at a considerable loss no doubt, and buy another one from Dreams next door to Bensons. I recommend that everyone follow me and avoid Bendons for Beds. Go straight to Dreams!
