Ordered beds in May but completion on our new apartment was not till end July Bensons were very patient. 21st July Ben & his mate arrived. The beds were up in no time. Very polite guys took all their wrappings/ cardboard away with them. Excellent job.

AVOID - Visited the store in November 2025 where we were miss-sold and miss-informed by the sales clerk. We wanted a medium mattress, tested plenty and settled on the medium density. The sales clerk insisted that due to the bed frame we were purchasing being sprung slat we should get a firm mattress as it would feel like a medium on the sprung frame, there were no firm mattresses on sprung frames to try in store but he insisted we go with his recommendation and trusting his professional knowledge we went with this option.

Upon delivery in April 26 the mattress was far too firm, we contacted Bensons under their good night guarantee to be told it was our fault and we shouldn’t of trusted the salesman in store… They then said we had to pay a delivery fee and admin fee, and then difference of the mattress as it was now back to full price as opposed to the lower discount price we paid back in November. The total to rectify the miss-selling issue from the salesman would cost us a further £464 to get the mattress we originally wanted and asked for.

We found this disgusting to ask for such a high cost and asked for some understanding on the issue, Bensons have been terrible to deal with and we have now been forced to deal with the Furniture Ombudsman whilst still having to use a mattress that is far too firm and causing historic back pain to flare up. Still 4 months on we are no closer to a resolution….

AVOID GLOUCESTER BENSONS.

We visited our local branch to view the bed options on offer. We were welcomed by Cathy, who asked the questions of what we were looking for in a new bed. She showed us the various options available to try. We were left to ponder, but Cathy was on hand to answer any questions. We were not hounded for a potential sale, which was really great. We decided on the right bed for us. The whole process was really simple. The delivery time of the bed is quicker than we expected which works out better for us

Beautiful bed.Looks so nice and elegant in my bedroom. Guys were lovely and did their job perfectly well as told by my daughter because I was at work.The guys at the shop were very nice.Advised me well which bed was the best one.Good customer service. Great service from store to delivery.
Replaced our 13 year old mattress ( also bought from Bensons).. with like for like, a supremely comfortable Sealy top of the range mattress. Have slept really well for the 4 nights since delivery. Can't recommend them highly enough, wouldn't go anywhere else but Bensons.

B4B kept it simple and made a sale. From that point on they kept every promise they made, all the staff were courteous throughout. All good - thank you!

The delivery team were very professional and helpful. When they first delivered the bed, they identified a fault with the headboard straight away and arranged for a replacement immediately. Within about seven days, the new headboard was delivered and fitted properly. Everything was resolved smoothly and I really appreciate the team’s efficiency and customer service.

Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and efficient, both in the showroom and over the phone, when I had to change the bed size on my order. I felt very confident dealing with them.
Was kept informed of delivery details, delivery was prompt and the staff pleasant and efficient.

This review is about the installation as the product is great. Bensons had asked for fed back which I provided and didn’t respond, so here it goes public. Well the pair that installed my TV bed expressed how important it was that we turned our TV off when not in use as it is very likely to overheat when stored away in the foot of the bed! And oh don’t we know it this exactly what the pair of clowns that installed the bed did! They also told us to air the room for at least a few hours. So near bed time we went up to make the bed and the foot of the bed was burning hot where they had left the TV on and stored away, exactly what they had told us not to do! The next day I noticed the cable for the power supply was trapped had against the extremely heavy bed and skirting board. Again if this had been left noticed by myself would have potentially caused problems. So if you want someone to trying and cause an electrical fire at your new home call Bensons!!!
