The Bike Shed Avis 

Contacted the Bike Shed in Exeter city centre to arrange a bike fitting with my Cube Kathmandu hybrid pro. I spoke initially with Bill who clearly had extensive knowledge and training in all things cycling. We discussed my requirements and Bill was able to offer his opinion on the way forward.
I spent 3 hrs at the store a short time later with Bill. His enthusiasm was fantastic. He was engaging, completely professional and nothing was too much trouble. His level of knowledge was outstanding and during my visit he identified a number of issues not only with the bike but also my riding position.
The bike is now a perfect fit for me. Many thanks to Andy too who was on hand to provide additional mechanical advice.
The equipment available to Bill to fine tune rider to bike is of a very high quality and combined with his knowledge and skill you certainly won’t regret the time spent. . This was without doubt the best experience and if you are considering a bike fit then look no further. Huge thanks to the Bike shed ( and Bill especially) for putting me on the right course. 🤙

was at the exeter store (fore street) to buy a full suss bike for my grandson (21) Bill was to hand and as this was for the first full suss in the family so we needed some expert advise, and in Bill we got it. Bill was so helpful and his knowledge was amazing. He set up the bike for a test ride and then for a presale service and inspection. the bike was nice anyway but Bill was helpful, friendly and professional. Bill sold this bike with no incentive (monetary) to do so. he just loves his job and it comes across when interacting with any one who needs a bit of help. BRILLIANT……

I was ready to drop some bees and honey (money) on a quality bike, and Chris sorted me out with a proper beauty. No pony (nonsense) or pushy sales, just a bunch of geezers who really know their onions and helped me find the perfect ride.

I recently bought a giant stance for my son. The service was excellent. On collecting the bike they took the time to set it up for my son. Talking him though each step and also how to maintain the bike.

First time dealing with this business having moved to the area recently. Mot was arranged quickly, and when I had to go to London on the day of the mot they were very happy to let me leave the bike inside the night before. Being a Rocket iii Touring its a big unit and they managed to rearrange the workshop to accommodate it. 👍

I recently purchased a higher end bike and was amazed at the standard of service. The cycle arrived almost fully built and fully set up.

I want to express my appreciation to Martin and colleague at The Bike Shed, Crediton, when they came to my assistance on Friday, Dec 19th.
My tyres were under-inflated for the ride on the A377 to Eggesford and back that I was embarking upon, and Martin helpfully used his pump to make my tyres rock hard, and to save my 26-mile timed training
ride which was successfully completed in ideal Christmas-time conditions. As it was my biggest ride
since recovering from a major cancer operation in December 2024, it was a significant occasion for me.
I had used my hand-pump when setting out, but it had proved ineffective on this occasion, unfortunately.

As I don't want to be caught out like this again,

The delivery was punctual, and communication regarding the shipment was excellent. The products arrived in perfect condition.

Very happy with the service, delivery and communication. Called a coupe for times and was easy to get a real person to talk to on both occasions and both times very pleasant and helpful.
Only one thing to mention, I purchased peddles as it was not mentioned online that peddles were included and received two pairs of peddles. I should have clarified! But website says no peddles unless stated they are included!

Fab service in the Exeter shop today! Friend needed a secure lock for mobility scooter- person serving us went above and beyond to ensure friend could work lock with their arthritic hands before we purchased it! Excellent service! Thank you ! Made our day!
