I was recommended Blacks by a family member. I was buying a pair of walking shoes and very unsure what I wanted. Getting the wrong shoe can be an expensive mistake. Not at Blacks. The lady who served me knew exactly what I wanted and was very knowledgeable. So glad I made my purchase and I will definitely return

The goods we have always bought from the shop in Dundee have always been of good quality.
The cost of items online were excellent as they had sale on Merrell footware.
Again great service quality goods arrived in two days.

I recently ordered a lightweight jacket and walking trousers, both of which I love. However the wrong length of trousers were sent and I returned them at the Dundee shop for a refund and reordered online as they'd none in stock. I also exchanged the jacket in the shop for a smaller size. They were very helpful.

I needed to replace my boots urgently and I was served by a very attentive shop assistant, Lisa. The shop was relatively quiet when I first arrived but within minutes, three other groups of gentlemen came in looking for shoes. Lisa managed to serve all of us despite having to go into the store room downstairs to gather the various models and sizes. I was very appreciative of her conscientious efforts. Her attitude was positive throughout the hour that I was there and she helped me to find a pair of boots that were comfortable. Thank you Lisa and hope you have a good Christmas!

Our experience when buying a pair of Brashers and north face bag was absolutely excellent. Ewan was a superb help and was able to give personal experience examples to support with the buying decision. There was also a girl with dark hair and glasses who helped with the bag, she was also extremely helpful. Great service all round from the staff!

Purchase two pairs of Merrells shows and two Peter Storm jackets. Great Black Friday deals, great value and brilliant service.

Needed a new pair of winter walking boots. Was attended to by Olga who was very helpful. Paid a little more as her recommendations on the different brands helped to sway my decision.

First class service today in the Dundee store despite them suffering water damage and half the shop closed , due to water leaking in from above. Bought camping stove gas at a great price also. Both shop assistants very knowledgable and helpful.

I needed a pair of walking boots and I found a really good selection at Blacks. I must have tried on nearly all of the boots and I can’t thank Ewan enough for his patience and advice. He made me feel that I did not have to rush my decision and was extremely helpful and friendly. I think Blacks is very lucky to have him as an employee. I would definitely recommend Blacks for the large range of goods but especially for the staff. They all were smiling and looked as if they enjoyed their jobs. It was a really nice atmosphere in the store.
