Excellent customer service
Customer service was excellent at Salisbury branch. I returned a jacket, bought online, to the shop as it was too small. This was completed swiftly and efficiently by friendly staff. My wife needed a fleece to fit a new Berghaus outer jacket. The staff were knowledgeable and proactive, finding a suitable fleece at a good price. Very satisfied.

Excellent customer service from James at Blacks in Salisbury advising on a pair of new walking shoes. He had a great understanding of all technical issues around lots of subjects, not just shoes. Got a fantastic pair of Merrells at a good discounted price.

Great service
I had had a rip in a coat which I bought from here about a year ago. Didn't keep the receipt. When I went in for a replacement, not only did they offer a discount as the first coats' seems were badly sewn, but also suggested an emailed receipt do I couldn't lose it this time.

Purchasing waterproof jacket
Purchasing waterproof jacket, James was very helpful with information on jackets and happy to say that a cheaper one suited my needs. James then looked on line and found there was a further online discount which was applied to the already reduced sale price. Ran in the jacket in pouring rain today and very happy with my purchase

My husband needed new walking boots and finds shopping for footwear a nightmare. So going into the Salisbury branch we were well looked after by Thomas with great patience and being so helpful my husband found the right pair for him and very happy with his new boots.

The staff were very friendly
The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. We were pleased to find there was a sale on the chairs we wanted so bought a coat and 2 fleeces while the price was right. A great shopping experience

Great shopping experience.
The store had a good selection of hiking boots at competitive prices. Staff were very helpful in providing the information I sought. I was given sufficient time to consider my purchase without feeling pressured.
