Blacks - Yeovil Avis 745

If I was going to make a training video about superb customer service I would film the interaction I had today at Blacks in Yeovil. Hannah approached me and asked if I needed any help. Her manner was gracious and friendly. We went upstairs to look for the specific item. It was not on a stand so Hannah checked the stockroom and because nothing there either, asked the store manager. Hannah said they were in her usual store in Plymouth so I knew they still existed at Blacks. I shall order online. Notably, my previous visit to Blacks Yeovil was the opposite. Neither assisant asked me if I needed anything. I can raise a question myself however in my view, the point of cutomer service is that it's a company responsibility. I decided then to avoid Blacks and returned today because the zips on the waist bag I want to replace are fading and I happened to be in the area. Hannah is exemplary. I have delivered a lot of customer service training and Hannah demonstrated best practice at every level. Top marks, thank you.

Went into today to have a look at some shoes ended up with a fleece instead but was treated to very friendly staff and wonderful customer experience as a whole
10/10 will be going back

Always helpful and willing to give advice for kit and clothing (not always recommending the most expensive)

I can’t fault the staff In here I popped in on Friday to speak to them about buying 20 camping chairs and the process was so simple and Ben was amazing what a chap! I come back today(Saturday) to buy the 20 chairs The lovely dweeby lad(Will) helped me load all the chairs! Honestly was an amazing interaction any camping needs I will be coming to this shop time and time again👌

I`ve bought from Blacks a few times now & always check them out first for what I want. The staff in their shops are helpful & friendly. Online is easy ordering & returns no problem. I find them a trustworthy genuine company. I have confidence shopping with Blacks.

Great to be able to actually go to a shop and try on walking shoes rather than order online. I was given good advice and came away feeling I had chosen a really good pair of shoes that was best suited to my needs.

Helpful and Professional staff.
Good range of relevant products which the staff actually know about, rather than a range of irrelevant "Tat" that the staff can't justify.

I’ve just had a great experience at Blacks in Yeovil where, not only did they have significant choice of the item I was looking for, the young chap who served me was very polite, helpful and friendly, as was the manager who conducted the final transaction and applied the Forces Discount that the first assistant reminded me to make use of. An excellent experience, in a well stocked shop with extremely nice staff.
