Bought an expensive sink which was in stock according to website. Upon ordering the product, I received a confirmation email which confirmed I would receive the sink within 3 to 5 working days. After 5 days nothing showed up and I received an email from the company saying that the sink was no longer in stock and would I like an alternative. I emailed them back asking for a call and to process refund, but no response. I called them back on the numbers on the email and the websites but it was either engaged or no answer. I emailed again and said that I want a full refund. They then got back to me on email which was full of spelling mistakes and my name was spelt wrong. They asked me if I would like the sink as they've just had a cancellation, and by miracle one wasxin stock. I'd read all the terrible reviews online and asked them for the full refund to which I have never heard anything back. Do not use absolute scammers, nothing British about them, based in Bradford.

Took my money for a Grohe product, which they had on their web site - said in stock. then tell me 2 weeks, keep delaying never answer emails. After 7 weeks they tell me Grohe wont supply them.

Just stay away.

Ordered same product from city plumbing which then arrived in 2 weeks - and £100 cheaper too.

My experience with British Bathroom Company was extremely disappointing.

I ordered a replacement Grohe part because my shower had stopped working. Although the website stated the item was on back order with a 2–3 week lead time, I contacted the company immediately after ordering to explain that this was an emergency, as I had already been without a working shower for over 10 days. I also found the identical part in stock elsewhere and simply asked them to cancel my order and process a refund so I could buy it from another supplier.

What followed was poor customer service. My emails requesting an urgent response went unanswered for days, despite the circumstances being clearly explained. Instead of showing any empathy or trying to help, the company eventually sent a defensive email telling me that sending follow-up emails moved my enquiry to the back of the queue and stating that they did not think it was fair to be "threatened" with a negative review.

At no point did they apologise for the lack of communication or acknowledge the urgency of my situation in any meaningful way. They seemed far more concerned about defending their internal processes than providing customer service.

Delays can happen and are understandable. Poor communication and a defensive attitude towards customers are not.

If you are buying a part that you need urgently, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Excellent product & price. Just wish suppliers didn't say " in stock " when it clearly isn't but when it came gripes forgotten. Will I use again? I'll look & probably. Happy now.

Fast Delivery, Good Product.

I am currently waiting on a delivery of a bath. Originally it said delivery would be Thursday (yesterday) I phoned yesterday and was told there had been 'a delay' but that it would arrive on Monday. I have just tried to ring but the phone lines shut at 3pm on a Friday...I'm getting worried I have been 'fobbed off', so have sent an email, so far, not a good experience but will update if things improve...

Update: I recieved an email on Saturday to appologise, and was told bath as booked for delivery on Tuesday.

I emailed again on Monday as the website still said processing, and was assured it would arrive on Tuesday. The bath did arrive on Tuesday, but I had no comms on delivery times and had to contact the shipping company. This is more constructive feedback, to update buyers that their order has been dispatched and give a delivery window.

We got there in the end!

I filled in the form to ask for suggestions for a toilet seat to fit our unusal shaped one, and, it being a Sunday, I really didn't expect a reply before Monday morning. But an answer came back immediately from Sam, perfect, and I went ahead and bought! Excellent customer service!

The site was easy to navigate with all the dimensions needed to select the correct style toilet seat. It fits the toilet well, has a silent soft close mechanism and feels solid. The seat was well wrapped in bubble wrap but not in a box but was delivered promptly and intact.

Excellent company, easy to order and my Euroshowers Soft Close MDF D shape toilet seat arrive exactly when they said it would. Seat is good quality, sturdy and very easy to fit. Would happily purchase from them again.

I am currently waiting in q delivery since 2nd July. No one answers their emails or phone calls. Meanwhile, my fitters are expecting delivery. Poor

I used this company to order a tap that is extremely difficult to get, as it is no longer being produced. The company went out of their way to source the product and they kept me updated on the process (there was an inevitable delay in getting it). I was able to speak to somebody by phone when I needed to check something (rare these days) and my order arrived in perfect condition and at the time agreed. I was delighted with the service and product I received.

Stay away from this company. They take your money. Then that is it . They do not answer the phone , they do not respond to any e mails and they lie about there stock. Wish I had looked on trust pilot before using them.

We ordered (and paid for) two high end sinks on the basis they were in stock and could be delivered within 5 working days. They weren’t. Neither was there any communication to say that they weren’t going to be delivered. The phone lines were not answered despite multiple calls on multiple days. I managed to get through to a different department a week later who confirmed they still didn’t have the stock despite still showing ‘in stock’ on-line. I sent emails - no reply, l sent recorded delivery letters to both Directors (as registered at Companies House) and the Head of Customer Services - no reply and l continued to try and get through on their customer services number - sometimes it just ‘cut out’. I received an email from a courier company weeks later to say they were going to be delivered and called them to refuse the order. I received a refund a couple of weeks afterward on Paypal - still without a single communication from the company themselves. Their lack of delivery put our kitchen rebuild back weeks. If l could have given them a minus score, l would have done so. Note to British Bathrooms - don’t say you have stock when you don’t, don’t offer delivery times you can’t meet, answer your phones, respond to emails and shame on your directors for not answering recorded delivery letters. Your organisation’s modus operandi caused a lot of un-necessary stress.

Ordered a new toilet seat from British Bathroom Company - arrived in good time, packaged securely and fits a treat.
I highly recommend this company 100%.
