Ongoing delays with delivery with no explanations given

Ordered a bedside table in January 2022 with estimated arrival time end April. At the time - Understandable with Covid etc. When I checked mid April by logging into my account, arrival time had shifted to end May. No email to let me know. No explanation. When I checked again late April arrival time had shifted to end July. Again no email to let me know. No explanation. When I checked again mid May arrival had shifted to late August. No email. No explanation. On 18 May I rang to cancel. Customer service fine. They said I’d get an email confirming cancellation in 5-6 days & money returned. More than 2 weeks later no email and no money. Then on 24 May 6 days after I canceled I received an email to let me know my order had been delayed and I should log into my account to check its status. I wouldn’t order from here. No emails to explain lateness of deliveries - you can’t blame Covid forever. And so far no refund.

Not the best experience

EDIT: Shortly after I left the below review, Brosa sent the replacement base. The delivery company had excellent communication and delivered a replacement base in perfect condition. The Espen chairs are good quality and comfortable. I have accordingly revised my star rating. The above all said, it is unfortunate that these issues were not addressed in a timely manner and that I had to chase Brosa to send a replacement. Noting other reviews here that have similar themes, I still think it is too much of a headache for me to deal with Brosa again. There are plenty of good furniture providers out there, who I'd rather support.

My strong recommendation is to avoid this company. I bought two office chairs and the base of one chair (the bases and seats were delivered in separate boxes) was delivered broken into pieces in a torn-up box. Three weeks later, Brosa still won't tell me when they will be dispatching the replacement chair base (despite their website stating that chairs with those bases are available for dispatch in 1-2 business days) and have not responded to my last three emails.

Wish I read these reviews prior to wasting my time and money.

Wish I read these reviews prior to spending my money. Have been waiting two months for my lounges. Was expecting them in a couple of weeks. Just checked and the delivery date has been pushed back another two months.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Here’s my problem.
I ordered a 3 seater, a 1 seater and two slip covers for the Palermo lounges. 3 months for the order to arrive. As I’d been sitting on the floor for 2 months, I was excited the delivery date was getting closer. Checked the order to find it was pushed back a further 2 months to late August. I contacted customer support (and I use that term loosely), for them to tell me they were waiting on one slip
cover. Despite me pleading with “support” to deliver the lounges and put the slip cover in the mail when it arrives, they flat out refused stating the couriers constantly loose parts of orders. (Maybe get better couriers?)
Due to zero common sense and understanding on behalf of your out sourced customer service based in some land far away, I got a refund. I bought a better quality lounge from a reputable company- Oz design. You want to help me now?? Shove your offer where it fits. I took my money (and happily more of it) elsewhere.

Amazing product and excellent customer service

I’m very happy with the swivel chair we purchased from Brosa. The design is elegant and versatile. It is also comfortable to sit on.
Had some issues with the product at first but this was quickly resolved by Brosa’s excellent customer service team. One happy repeat customer.

I ordered a chair on 31 March 2022 that they advertised was available for immediate dispatch from their Warehouse in Melbourne Australia. A month later and several emails and conversations with their help chatbox and lots of apologies and advice that the item is in their Warehouse on a 'picking list' but still no delivery date. This is absolurely the WORST company in Australia - Do Not Buy from them. They accept payment and delivery payment for items they obviously cannot deliver and they can no longer use COVID as their excuse for appalling customer service.

Thrilled!

Dear David,

As you know, we always take something of a risk when ordering on line and when your sofas were unpacked, we were so thrilled to see that they were far more than we had dared to expect! They are beautifully made and fit so well into their surrounds. I have lots of 'greenery' around, so the colour too is rather special the way it 'blends' into the room.

My husband and I do like to buy Australian when we can and these don't look as though they are off a custom line!
Many thanks for making the purchase and delivery easy too.

PS We were a little let down by the Ballarat delivery service. They were only able to leave them in the garden and we managed to carry the smaller sofa into the house - but some very kind neighbours came to the rescue with the larger sofa. (We are in the wrink-lies category....70's and 80s!) By the way, the neighbours were hugely impressed with our purchase too!

6x Grace fabric Dining Chairs

I bought 6x Grace fabric dining chairs for my antique looking dining table. My interior style is transitional, so has some antique with modern furniture. The chairs are of good quality and they look great.

Maki sofa bed

I ordered a Maki sofa bed. It took 3 months to make and an extra 3 months to be delivered because of Covid and I live in WA. Understandable but still frustrating.
All correspondence with their customer service team was outstanding right down to the delivery man when I finally got it.
The product I received was well packed of great quality and craftsmanship. I am using it everyday to sleep on as I’m staying with family due to the rental crisis. It’s quite comfortable and roomy but better with a mattress topper.
Design wise I’d suggest more padding for the sofa bed and as it’s quite low to get out of maybe change the design to have taller legs. It’d be perfect for my grandchildren when they come to stay.

If I could give no stars I would. I have had no satisfaction after ordering with Brosa, but plenty of stress & frustration.
Furniture item initially ordered late January. After a month I checked on the order, nothing, freight company they use had not seen it. Supposedly despatched but lost. Re-ordered and was told it was Despatched & COLLECTED BY FREIGHT COMPANY 5th April. Assured me it would be up by the end if the month. Yet AGAIN the item not been despatched. One of the worse aspects of this experience is the so-called ' Support team' who are in a faraway country. There is no contactable number for the actual furniture warehouse in Melbourne. The Support Team offer different people every time you call, who never say the same thing or put you on hold for ages & still don't find out anything of use.
Am so over being treated like an idiot and played for a fool. Apparently people DO get successful deliveries through Brosa but not me & going by other reviews I'm not alone. DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY if you want take a chance & go through the same stressful experience I have!

we are really happy with the sun lounge we purchased.
Delivery was on time and assembly was easy and quick! Brosa is really interested in post purchase satisfaction which is great to see.

Great customer service

Great customer service, I actually got to message a real person, Mark, who was super helpful with a refund I had to make. He offered alternatives and was very pleasant to deal with - I will definitely be shopping with this company in the future for the excellent customer service they provided at 8pm at night.

BOSCO MODULAR FLYING CUSHIONS

BOSCO MODULAR LOUNGE cushions FLYING OFF cannot stay together. This lounge looks great as long as you don't want to sit on it. The minute you do the cushions fly off! Apparently I am the ONLY person to experience this, AM I? Well the lounge suite was that good it is no longer made... hhhmm WHY? I have called emailed sent numerous photos and made suggestions. The design experts told me to add velcro underneath to keep them in place BUT this has NEVER happened before so they have not included velcro. I suggest that the velcro be sewn into the covers and new ones be sent to me in a material that is not so slippery but the design team said that because it is discontinued this is NOT an option. I was given a $100 refund for inconvenience from a $2300 lounge that doesnt stay together and the slips on the cushions dont stay in place. if this was a family with kids using the lounge I could understand but I am 1 person that barely sits on the chair and it moves the moment you sit down. So I have asked for a full refund or exchange and i have not heard from them, so then I thought i would try adding velcro to the existing covers myself. This lasted almost 20 minutes before the covers started moving again. There are many other lounge retailers that provide great lounges with great service in these times give them your money and service. I would NOT recommend to anyone.
