We were contacted by business search online with an offer of a 30 day campaign advertising our business using google adwords. They were as good as their word and we filled our diary so we are happy to keep using them.

Although the staff were very friendly, easy to get hold of, and informative - we did not receive a return on our investment (circa £1600). At this current time, this investment has made a loss for us. We are unsure what the reason for this is - we have had success with Google advertising in the past (circa 2-3 years ago).

After month 1 did not generate a return for us, BSO suggested we paid for a 2nd month of advertising (suggesting to us that potential buyers perhaps needed more time to consider the purchase before actioning it). Unfortunately there was no return on month 2 either so we did not continue to invest in month 3, which they suggested would potentially make a return - it just seemed too risky for us.

Signed up for their trial after being cold called. Our sales actually decreased compared to the previous month.

Statistics and analytical data from our website suggests that the campaign they setup for us actually had a negative impact on our sales, rather than increasing them.

I signed up to BSO after they called me with an offer for a trial of their service. I was skeptical but they were very convincing on the phone and assured me that they had looked at my site and that the ad would get calls to me business. So I went ahead. Not a single call came in as a result of the ad, which cost me £150. To make matters worse I've just received my phone bill can can see I've been charged £15 for calling them about the ad they set up. Turns out the number they encourage you to call them on any time is a premium number. I've contacted them explaining my dissatisfaction and requested they at least subsidise the phone bill. I'll keep you posted on their response if I get one.

I was approached by BSO with an offer to manage my business listing on Google, They offered a 3 month free service with monthly updates showing me how my listing was performing. Once the free period was up i then had a choice to take up the offer of a managed account. It wasn't a hard sell as they assured me from the outset that it was no obligation offer. The statistics provided to me showed the increase in calls and web enquiries that my business gained through the Google business listing. I would recommend their service to anyone as its free to trial and you have to opt in to continue.
