Please be aware if you’re buying a USED car and taking out a PCP agreement through CA Auto Finance. Before collecting the car, make sure you request and keep a copy of the ‘Vehicle Inspection Report’, At the end of the agreement, they arrange for an “expert” inspection of the vehicle and will charge you for any defects they find. When I disputed the charges and explained the car was already 3 years old when I bought it I had noted some of the marks/scratches were already on the car, they were not interested. I was still expected to pay for everything listed, even though I do not believe I caused all of the issues.
I have since emailed both the finance company and the dealership requesting a copy of the original vehicle inspection report, but both have replied saying they cannot provide one.
I also asked for proof and to see that the defects I paid over £500 for were actually repaired. I was told the vehicle had already been sold through auction, and no evidence or repair documentation was provided.
If you’re entering a PCP agreement on a used car, protect yourself and make sure you have full documentation from day one.
Spoke to Naveen from the end of contract team, he was so helpful, answered all my questions and concerns and was very patient.

He took the time to check the value of my car, offered useful suggestions, and made sure I fully understood my options without feeling rushed.
It’s rare to come across this level of customer service, and it genuinely made a difference. In fact, the experience alone has made me seriously consider using your services again for finance in the future.

The returns process was clear one phone call to set up the return then one to book a collection appointment. The inspection was quick and realistic. Final agreed invoiced appeared within two weeks and was easy settle over the phone. Great overall experience.

Reasonably straightforward to deal with even if financial questions were invasive and didn't recognised banks/ accounts and income to take into into account if a person is retired with funds in non recognised deposits and unused SIPS that would provide the necessary funds rather than day to day income from current accounts

Customer service is second to none, from the moment you walk in the door, there is a warm welcome from everyone. There is a wide choice of cars to choose from, Tyler was great and extremely helpful, from choosing the car to sorting the finance. It was all done in a couple of hours and we were able to drive away the same day.

I moved into my property in December 2025, and it seems the previous tenant had finance with this company. Since then, I’ve been receiving an excessive amount of mail addressed to them—sometimes 2–3 letters a week.
I’ve returned countless letters marked “no longer at this address” and have even contacted the company directly to inform them, yet the letters continue to arrive.
Not only is this frustrating, but it also reflects poorly on their record-keeping and customer service. It certainly doesn’t encourage me to consider using their services.
Off to the postbox I go to send back a further 2 more letters!
