The best garage I have used in 58 years of motoring. They put the majority of main dealers to shame and are one of very few companies these days where you get true commitment to customer service rather than feeling like you are being processed through an inflexible system

Outstanding - not said lightly!
Moved to Worthing a few months ago - and what a find! At every step, the service was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Excellent communications throughout. Prices are good and, importantly, fully transparent. I have had loads of fancy German cars over the years - these days just a little Polo - but Cedar beat hands down the dealerships/garages I have used over the years in London and Sussex. Highly recommended.

Faulty Clutch Master Cylinder Diagnosed
We recently had an issue with the clutch and changing between first and second gears on our Vauxhall Meriva. Cedar Garage had been recommended to us by our daughter, so we booked the car in for investigation. Unfortunately, the issue didn't replicate itself when test driven by Cedar and further investigation under the bonnet couldn't identify a fault.
The fault occurred again when I was driving home from the garage, so I made a call back to Cedar and they booked me in again, recommending that the car should be test driven by one of their technicians whom I could accompany, to provide first-hand information about how and when the fault manifested itself. During this second test drive, the technician experienced the problem for himself and diagnosed that the clutch master cylinder needed replacing.
I agreed to the work being completed and my car was booked in for the next day, provided the parts arrived from Vauxhall. Unfortunately, a second part needed from Vauxhall to complete the repair wasn't in stock so there was a delay until it could be delivered, but that was down to Vauxhall not Cedar Garage. The repair was then completed, and the car now drives beautifully.
I was very impressed with the technical team working on the car, fully supported by their excellent back-office team. Special thanks to Kayleigh and Aaron who kept me fully informed the whole time. I highly recommend Cedar Garage and will definitely use them again, and will be recommending them to family and friends.

They listened to my description of my problems and told me likely causes and gave me a quote, they then tested it and found some work didn't need doing and took it off my bill. They also worked very quickly carrying out all work in one day.

This is six-star service!
I do not actually know where to start, the service this year was THAT good. Firstly, I almost forgot to do my MOT, but Phil fitted me in at VERY short notice. Then he very patiently guided me through the tyre replacement I needed (never done this before so the necessary codes/numbers were a mystery). Then I was told my brakes were a bit dodgy so I authorised Cedar to replace them all, only to be told when they came to do it, that they didn't need replacing as on closer inspection they still had 50% life left in them - how incredibly honest is that? I had a medical emergency on the day I was due to collect the car, so when I went in to fetch it, Kayleigh made me a takeaway cup of tea!!! to calm me down and help me feel better. I also got a friendly greeting from Phil and Stacie, who work in front of house. I 100% trust this garage, and they even referred me to another amazing garage in Portslade - County Cars Sussex - when they didn't have the necessary know-how/parts to fix my Japanese imported campervan. I thought I would dread dealing with 'car stuff' on my own, but dealing with Cedar Garage is like having your own family fix your car. Can't recommend highly enough.

Returning customer
Third year in a row that I’ve taken my Range Rover sport for its MOT and service with cedar garage, My local Landrover specialist.
The reception staff are always polite and professional, they also have knowledge of the vehicles they’re dealing with.
The mechanics have always done a good job and they don’t push for needless work.
They’re reasonable in price compared to the main dealer also.

Used Cedar garage 25 year. Fully recommend.
We have used Cedar garage for 25 years now and they are always very friendly professional and helpful. My wife's BMW is over 10 years old and we get it serviced at Cedar every year. Other then a flat Batery one winter we have never had a breakdown. Last week I bought my Toyota Hybrid in for an embarrassing intermitant squeak. Which disappeared on the day. But they kept the car and did a full health check to investigate, having to replace front suspension arms and Bushes. Which had been battered from my 80 mile round trips to work and back each day. The lady on reception recognised me when I dropped the car off and asked after my wife which was a nice touch. Air freshener and sweets left in car were a nice too. Everybody is always so friendly. Fully recommend.
