I asked a simple question to a name id been dealing with for year. My question was picked up by Sue Harris who unearthed our Inventory and sent it immediately while explaining the personnel change.

We have just sold our property through Charters. We have found them professional, helpful and friendly from the start to the finish.

Sue Harris at Charters Estate Agents (formally Michael Jones) has been an absolute pleasure to work with on various property matters.

She is extremely helpful, has a can do attitude, works to deadlines, pragmatic with problem solving, provides exceptional service and has a keen eye for detail. She balances her role well delivering good outcomes for her clients and customers. She is a true asset to her firm and I would highly recommend her as a contact.

My overall experience for our house purchase via Charters estate agent has been excellent right from the very beginning.

After the death of my Mum in April 2026, I dealt with Joe Oakley in Worthing. He showed compassion and was very responsive to my many queries about ending the tenancy on her property. There were also some issues after the property was returned and he supported me through this. I then dealt with another member of the team, Jonathan Tonks, who was also excellent. I experienced some issues trying to obtain the deposit back from TDS and Jonathan was extremely supportive in a very painful process. They are both a credit to Charters and I had a really positive experience of being treated with compassion at a very stressful time.

The most useless, incompotent buch of u know what u will ever encounter, please. I absouloutly beg of you, don't move into Governor's Residence in Winchester, right near the wetherspoons pub near Winchester town centre. You will get dumb Nieghbours, awfull Nieghbours, a guy there called Danny is the Proerty Manager, what an absoulute waste of time and space he is, he live's at No. 2 Flat, an absoululy vile character, he has access to all the Camras in the place, awfull human beiing.

They were very approachable and easy to talk with. I recommend Nikola as she showed me properly the process of securing my new home, thank you for outstanding service!

The team were really supportive and communication was prompt. Initially I instructed Brand Vaugh however they were in the process of merging with Charters. This was seamless and a credit to their professionalism as they were, no doubt, going through the trials and tribulations of significant changes. One thing I would do differently is I would use my own solicitor rather than the one recommended by the estate agents. I found this service unsatisfactory.
