We are 70 year old retired couple
We are 70 year old retired couple, looking for a mortgage to build a bungalow and the broker introduced us to getting a credit file information, it was a great experience, the site is easy to use and gives a very detailed list of all past history of loans , payments etc and gives a score, it’s a very simple but extremely comprehensive data from all the sources combined to give a lender full scope of information. I advise everyone to use this site for a very detailed overview.

great service but must be more clear about how subscription works
great service but must be more clear about charges and the way the subscription works.
I used it for a second time as part of a financial assessment with buying a house and I knew I'm not eligible for the free service as I used it already in the past. but as it usually happens, I forgot to cancel right after and I was charged for the second month too. then when I canceled I read in their terms that they do not refund for time when services are not used. so

I believe it is one of the best credit…
I believe it is one of the best credit report websites I have used. However, I would rate it 4* primarily because it is so expensive. I have cancelled my trial, but most definitely re-consider if the price comes down to a reasonable level.

My mortgage company requested I use…
My mortgage company requested I use Check my File, even though I use another credit agency. So I signed up and Check my File produced their report (I didn’t see it because I didn’t need to) the mortgage went straight through and everything was fine. I subsequently contacted them at Check my File to cancel my subscription. This was the part I was anxious about. I hit the contact us and sent a request. The next day I had my reply. They had cancelled it with immediate effect. No further payments would be deducted. Nice friendly email. Wow. I’m a bit surprised, but pleasantly so. Thank you Check my File.

Went the extra mile.
I contacted check my file as I’ve had multiple levels of inaccuracy on my file. I also use assistive technology, so it’s a worrying scenario already, but very difficult if finding specific information is hard to do, and actually in my case pretty difficult. I contacted check my file and received excellent support, with my query being resolved and the agent even asking me to let them know if I had any problems accessing the email thread given that I use assistive tech. I didn’t have problems with the contact side of things, but I really felt valued as this is something which meant so much given the stress I was already under. Many thanks.

I would definitely recommend this company.
Once I had used the company for my need it was easy to suspend my subscription a n have the ability to continue later if I ever needed to.

They scammed me out of £14.99, I logged into my account during the 'free' period and the money was deducted from my account immediatly.
There is no way no to request a refund on their website.
Total scammers.

Excellent service that is second to…
Excellent service that is second to none! I previously tried resolving financial connection and address errors through Credit Karma and Experian, but got nowhere—even after contacting Credit Karma twice. Switching to checkmyfile was a game-changer. The dispute process was easy, they sent daily updates, and they fixed the problem in under a week. I highly recommend them to family and friends and will definitely use them again.
