Chiquito Avis 

I booked at table on Tuesday for 6:15. Myself & my partner arrived around 6:10.
We waited at the entrance table where you waited to be seated for around 10 minutes.
During this time 4 members of staff looked at us and walked past us.
At this point I left.

Poor service. Mains brought out before starters to then be brought back out later correctly and put in my daughters hand without telling her the plate it hot and burnt her hand. Boiling hot plate and cold food. Staff no help at all and slow when only about 3 other tables of customers in restaurant and plenty of staff on floor

I went to their Ashton branch and I’ve had so much fun. A few friends and I went on a birthday meal, and the customer service was outstanding. The food was super tasty, the staff were friendly, and at the end the staff sang a birthday song as well as giving us a complimentary cake. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and will be going back.

I got food delivered by Uber. I live close by but didn’t fancy getting dressed and going out.
Well packaged, well cooked and exactly what I ordered.
Even got a cute little Thankyou note on the box. Would feel comfortable doing this again when staying in however have also eaten in here and always had a pleasant service

Really wanted to mention our server Pete, he was friendly, efficient and generally just nice to talk to. His service made my day and he deserves all the credit. I’ve done that job in the past and it’s not easy, especially in covid times and a busy weekend evening. Thank you Pete.

went out to the chiquito leeds*near the big ikea*...very poor service, took some minutes for some one to shows us a table, then another 10 mins for them to take our order which we were promised would be 10 minutes...30 minutes later was still waiting for the food. literally could see the staff sat at one of the desks not caring whether customers are served or not. waste of money...will never visit the restaurant again!

We have lots of fond memories of eating at Chiquito's at the Metro Centre. After a break of 15 years + we headed back there and we had a great time. The food was good and exactly what we'd expected but the service from Hayley was 10 out of 10, really thoughtful, warm and engaging. Certainly, made our meal something to remember. Also, the manager (sorry didn't get your name) was also really helpful and interested. A great night out.

We used to love going to chiquito as it always served nice food and had a good atmosphere. After not going for 10 years and deciding to go back, I really wish we hadn't!! We visited the Cribs Causeway branch and from start to finish the whole experience was awful. The staff left us waiting for a very long time to be seated and whilst we were waiting a staff member pushed me out of the way to get past to serve a table while holding a scolding hot fajita plate which only narrowly missed my arm. We were then addressed and had requested a booth due to a disability and were then rudely asked if the disabled people could get out of their chair and "what is wrong with your legs" which is highly inappropriate. Once seated the waitress left us for a long period of time and when she came back she was rude, offhand and disinterested. After taking our order she assured us all the food would come together but it didn't and the starters arrived early but we were assured the rest of the food was on its way ... 20 minutes later and still the rest of our order hadn't appeared so we ate the now luke warm starters. Once the mains arrived they were wrongly marked and when we queried this the waitress just said "its fine don't worry" this wouldve been ok had it not been for the fact that one was super spicy and the other was mild. The food was almost cold, bland, boring, sloppy, had no mexican flavour and was disappointing to say the least. We couldn't wait to leave but even that took at least 40 minutes to pay the bill after asking. A dreadful experience.

Lovely experience the food was really nice and the staff in the metro centre Gateshead were so lovely and polite. Love when people are genuinely nice and helpful ☺️

We were at edge lane this evening and Faith was our host, she was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and this wasn’t a one off she was the same with everyone, I think people will visit again to just hopefully be served by Faith a highly recommended individual.

We have visited Chiquito in the Metro Centre Gateshead for breakfast for two consecutive weeks and have received excellent service from Hayley . She is friendly, courteous, efficient and professional. A credit to the company. Our compliments must also go to the chef who has prepared breakfast perfectly on each of our visits.

Chris and Ella in Chiquito Bolton were absolutely fab! Couldn’t get better service! Absolutely gorgeous food, 10/10 recommend

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the service was today. One of the waitresses Lucy was outstanding she was very polite and patient with us. And the food was delightful the chips were crispy and the steak was lovely and tender. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Just finished lunch with the family at the Leicester restaurant which includes three children and the food and service was first class. Lusia did a fantastic job I would like to thank her so much

We went to chiquitos in gunwarf. The food was ok, nothing special. Ordered enchiladas chicken pull pork. 11.80 plus 2.50. For a wrap non existent chicken pull pork. Mainly rice.. thin.. I could make better at home. Other dishes mainly onions peppers.. got order wrong too... some how 100 for 4 of us. Really poor expensive food in the end. No substance to it. Single flavoured sauce. Charge for hot sauce. Had good time with fam bit defo ripped off.

Best Mexican food I had is in Austria in graz. At Irish bar. 8 to 10 euros for dish packed with flavour and substance.

The food is overpriced garbage .
How they can charge 25 quid for 2 burritos is beyond me when we paid 16 for 2 that were far better .

Bland ,horrible cold food . Don't bother

Visited in lockdown & click and collect Ipswich . Super friendly & amazingly quick service . Thank you for the sweets
