My wife booked a cab at 7.30am to be picked up at 9am to go to a hospital appointment at Epsom hospital, we live a few miles away in tadworth but it was raining hard so that's why she booked a cab.we used clocktower cars in Epsom a few weeks ago and the cab arrived 15 miss late,which wasn't the end of the world. The hospital appointment was for 9.30am..at 9.10am my wife rang the clock tower cars office to see where the cab was,the assistant said it's hard to get a cab during school run times..if this is the case then don't say you can do it and take the booking..it's not hard is it. Poor management. The cab eventually arrived at 9.35 am ..the hospital appointment was 9.30am, she got to the hospital at 10am. I rang the office that morning to complain and see what they had to say and the assistant said I will get the manager to call you..I left him my number..guess what..no one has called me..surprise. it's not worth waisting my time chasing them up over this,but it just shows how they can't even get the basics right, and that is their business. It probably doesn't matter to them if they loose one customer, terrible service, terrible management, keep in the back of your mind you have a good chance of being late for where you are trying to get to using clocktower cars Epsom.. good luck..you will need it.

Unreliable
27th January 26 at 7am it was raining really heavy and windy so I booked a taxi for 9.00am to go to epsom hospital and requested for them to try and be on time as this was yet again the second medical appointment I had in a fortnight! At 9.05 when I rang they just said that it is difficult to get a cab in school run hrs ! Eventually my taxi got to me at my hospital appointment time at 9.35 and I arrived at my destination at 10am . Letting my husband know of this he actually rang the company himself and he was told that the manager will get back to him ! We are still waiting ! Disgusting considering this is the second time in two weeks that ive been let down !

Made us wait a whole ass hour for a…
Made us wait a whole ass hour for a taxi up to college and we were late by like half an hour. Also charged us a whole lot of money EACH. Instead of us having a normal 4 seater booked, they booked a 6 seater and added an extra person to our car which increased the time by a whole lot. Bun dis company, never use them please 🙏.

No show and oven a call 9 minutes before it was meant to turn up!
Booked a taxi through the app at about 6 in the evening for a car to collect us at 7.20am, I hadn’t heard in the morning so after giving them a quick call, the lady said “your get a text message thank you bye” waiting for a message I get a call it’s 7.11 “sorry we can’t get your car to you until 8.15” at this point I’m like your joking me no warning, completely unreliable and I’m now going to be late for my trip! Customer service was absolutely shocking too. I wouldn’t bother booking if your trip is urgent!

Pickup for trip to T5 Heathrow
Pickup for trip to T5 Heathrow was on time and journey completed in good time. Helpful driver accepted credit card payment. Car not the cleanest we have used.
Return journey the driver wanted cash. Unlike the previous driver a surcharge was requested for a credit card payment. Thought this was illegal now. Also pickup for journey home driver requested us to go the third floor of the T5 car rather than the first floor taxi pickup point where we were waiting and normally use. No explanation given.
I appreciate your reply but it is 10 months after the taxi booking on 16/10/25 our return trip from Heathrow to GU7 1TN. This delay itself must say something about the company's approach to reviews! I do not have the booking reference any more. Can't remember that I was given one. It's fair to say that having used your services in the past they have been acceptable, but I am now doubtful I will use in the future.

Very unreliable service. You will book for a certain time and they won’t arrive until an hour after the time. You contact them and they give you flimsy excuses over the phone. DO NOT BOOK THEM.

Late taxis
Same experience as others booked car well in advance then 10 mins before get a call to saying they are very busy, and are delayed 15 mins. Had to ask a neighbour to drop us at the train stn. Not the first time they have done this either 🤷♂️

Awful company
Awful company. I had them booked to take me to a hospital appointment and they didn't show up on time. When I called they told me they'd be another half hour which would have left me late for my appointment but they didn't think it worthwhile to tell me. Had I not rang to check I'd have missed an appointment I'd been waiting months for.

We always use this company and have always found them to be extremely reliable and fair prices. The only thing that stops us giving 5 stars is that the cleanliness of the vehicles is sometimes not great.😌

Quite literally not fit for purpose
Quite literally not fit for purpose. Clocktower Cars Uk the worst cab company we've ever used. A pre booked cab over an hr late, leaving family and kids stranded. Six calls made, six bullsh#t replies about how long it would be. Ended up getting two Ubers in the end. Do yourself a favour and use someone else.

Wedding day nightmare - no show!! AVOID.
Booked several taxis for my wedding day online 1 month before the big day. Received confirmation emails and texts for all taxis booked. Called the night before my wedding to confirm all was still well. I was told that the larger car I requested was not available (no reason given as to why this had changed) and now I would need to pay more money than quoted because they would have to send 2 cars. Begrudgingly agreed to minimise stress even though this was completely their fault, not mine. Told all was booked and confirmed. Then, 5 mins past my pick up time on my wedding day, I receive a call that no taxis are free due to derby day. This resulted in my dad and 2 bridesmaids driving us in a panic to my wedding. Worst taxi company ever. Why have an online booking system if it doesn’t book you a taxi. Why have operators confirm taxi availability if there aren’t any. Turns out my wedding venue know they are a terrible company and don’t recommend them to anyone. Completely useless. Avoid at all cost.

Not to be trusted
I have used this company weekly for many months and for the same journey which costs £7. On Friday they attempted to add almost £4 to the fare, stating it was because of racing at Epsom (30+ miles away and with no connection to be whatsoever). I refused and only paid the driver £7 . The manager at their office was incredibly arrogant and rude. I will never use them again. Clearly trying to rip people off . I have reported them to Trading Standards.

I was picked up outside my house in morden and bought to new Malden which is only 10 or 12 minutes away they usually charge me £11 80 which is cheap

Predatory Practices
We checked on your price estimator and the trip was estimated at 47 pounds. We called to confirm this estimate, and after we had the estimate confirmed we confirmed the booking; all of this a few days before the trip.
Roughly an hour before our pickup time (at 10:30pm on a Saturday, way too late to reschedule or find another company) we were told the price was in fact 72 pounds. We had no choice but to accept this price as we had no other way of getting home.
The above seems like extremely predatory behaviour, and very dishonest. A few days after the trip the price checker is still estimating identical trips at 47 pounds. Please can you justify what happened?

ordered cab today from Alexandra park to thornton heath. driver had no idea where I was - clear reception are passing wrong /false details onto the drivers. the driver himself seemed in huge hurry - VERY aggressive driving even though had my young son in car with me. AVOID if possible. a cabbie that does not know local area is a huge red flag.

WARNING: Staff have become unprofessional and dodgy
This used to be a great company but now very dodgy.
- Some of the larger vehicles provided was in poor condition.
- Booking staff LIARS! confirmed driver will have working machine which they didnt (just like many occasions last year). Driver told me he never had a cash machine. Also took several attempts to pay via link.
- Our flight was delayed. Mean driver demanded to be paid more as he had to wait. Why didnt he check flight times?
-Some drivers of large vehicles not friendly
-If you have more than one pick up point, booking staff cant send to full details. Was sent a screenshot of the booking from a Whatsapp number in Afghanistan. But after 5 minutes the screenshot was deleted.
