Club Mac is a no from me

This was our second time here and our last. Whilst the hotel is in a good quiet area with a frequent bus to the beach and access to the waterpark. It is far too busy, rooms are far too small and not clean we had ants in our room on arrival. I had bought my son a football kit from local shopping area and left it in the bag on top of the bed. When we returned to our room the beds had been made but the bag was gone. I spoke to reception and their customer service as I thought maybe it got caught up in the laundry when beds being done. They said they would investigate, when I spoke to them again they said it hadn’t ’shown up’ in laundry, they offered no further assistance or help. I appreciate that perhaps they have people trying to take advantage, however if that was the case I could have said they took a box of tobacco or money etc. my son was devastated and I had to go and buy him another kit meaning I was out more money for a mistake their staff had made. Again they offered no resolution at all. Staff also allowed some rude guests to just jump to front of ques at reception and assisted them despite some of us decent folk queuing and waiting our turn. The food was ok, no major issues with it. The pools would be closed randomly and when we visited the water park shortly after we arrived and paid for sun loungers we were told the were closing the park! They were quick enough to chase for money but not to return it when they closed the park after us being their less than an hr. I spent a lot of money on this holiday and came home disappointed
The pools were always packed with people with massive inflatables meaning it wasn’t enjoyable

Don't go !!!!!!!!

Just landed back home from this resort, I can honestly say what a joke !!!! Having to share a room with children even if you upgrade, the rooms are too small , horrible smell of drainage all the around the resort, cigarettes floating in the main pool , people using the pool as there personal toilet, with the pools having to be closed ,

People walking around the resort with cans and bottles of wine , like a 1995 pontins holiday,

Your band is also cancelled on the last day giving you no access to food court's, leaving me very angry with children, ( no dinner )

People stealing out of the stock cupboard were you store your suitcase before leaving or waiting for your room ,

Bugs getting bit on the regular,

If your want a council estate 1995 pontins holiday book here .

Wildlife all inclusive park

The staff work hard and the further reflection does not point towards their great experience.

It’s an unsupervised wildlife documentary with an all-inclusive wristband.

Multiple pools which are clean, until a child decides the pool is the best option for a dump.

Parents: Mums constantly screaming, while Dad's walk around the hotel with no top on as if they are Pablo Escobar.

Rooms, clean, basic and are as expected. No frills but practical.

All-inclusive buffet: where feral children become Olympic athletes.
Plate piled six feet high, chips in one hand, ice cream in the other, running back for a second dessert before they’ve even swallowed the first. Absolute buffet warfare.

Parents of feral children: All-inclusive buffet with feral kids and their parents:
Kids launching themselves at the buffet like it’s Black Friday. Parents shouting “DON’T TOUCH THAT!” while casually filling a plate with 47 sausages.

One child has abandoned shoes, another is eating dessert before dinner, and Dad’s carrying three plates like he’s feeding a football team.
Someone’s crying. Someone’s dropped a melon. Nobody knows whose child it is.
It’s not dinner. It’s survival. 😂🍽️

If you're looking for a relaxing break, this is harmonious chaos.

Club Mac 2026 (robbed by staff, not proven but read and it becomes clear)

Second time here. Great experience the first time(8 years ago), not so much this year.

Start with positives. Wish I could say there was more than 1 or 2 but in my experience there wasn’t. Access to drinks was good and staff were friendly (it’s an act, I will mention why later).

Now onto the negatives. Food was bland, dry, no moisture and lukewarm even when food times had just opened. Pools are way too overcrowded all the time and people are too ignorant to move out of your way while walking past no matter where you are. The first night we arrived we were after a long flight and wanted to check out the room only to find in both rooms the fridge was leaking ALL OVER THE FLOOR. We asked reception to fix it and they replaced the fridges but the same issue occurred twice more. I’m going to make a separate paragraph just to mention cleaning staff.

I noticed recently that the staff won’t clean the room while you’re inside, that’s not the issue. They empty the bin and replace towels and leave. But when you’re not there, I noticed things have went missing. I leave stuff on my bed that I use just for convenience and every time I came back they were gone. I came to the conclusion that the staff were taking them when I left an unopened box of chocolate biscuits and one packet of two in the box would be gone EVERY TIME. Then, I noticed that my vape and my bottle of juice had gone missing from my bed and realised that they had cleaned the room. I searched for a solid 45 minutes for them. Not a trace of my vape or juice. No one else had access to my room so I think the staff stole my vape and juice like they had been stealing my biscuits. (Yes I know biscuits aren’t a big deal but it’s the fact that they were taking things and then got cheeky and took a 35 euro vape and 8 euro bottle of juice).

Overall, facilities and area is beautiful but I would recommend not staying at club MAC unless it’s a last resort and want to come to Alcúdia. I know we will not be coming back

Very disappointing family holiday

We stayed at Club MAC as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 5 and 8), and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had.

The biggest issue was the room. We booked a Superior Double Room, but the room we received looked nothing like the one advertised on Ving's website. It was extremely small for a family of four, with barely enough space for our luggage and clothes. The beds were also of very poor quality, with thin mattresses on noisy metal frames that creaked every time you moved.

On our first night, the air conditioning leaked a large amount of water onto the floor. It was repaired the next day, but this is not what you expect when checking into a hotel.

The hotel is extremely noisy. Loud music, shouting and general noise continued well after 11:00 PM, making it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. There was also frequent noise from guests in the corridors during the night.

The food was honestly one of the biggest disappointments. Although there was plenty of choice, the quality was very poor. Much of the food was bland, overcooked or lukewarm, and after a couple of days it became very repetitive. We expected a much higher standard from an all-inclusive resort.

The service was also disappointing. At check-in we were simply given our room key and room number without any explanation of the hotel, facilities or how the all-inclusive system worked. We had to figure everything out ourselves.

On departure day we asked for a late check-out or another room, as our airport transfer was not until 9:00 PM, but this was refused. We had to use the hotel's shower facilities, which had no lock, no soap, dirty floors, water everywhere and no ventilation or air conditioning.

After only one night we contacted our tour operator and asked to move to another hotel, but this was not possible due to the peak season.

The pools are large and the children enjoyed them, but that was unfortunately the only real positive.

Overall, we left more exhausted than when we arrived, which says everything about our experience. We would not return and cannot recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing holiday.

If you want chatsworth estate abroad…

If you want chatsworth estate abroad club Mac is your place. It’s such a shame because the hotel is beautiful but the calibre of people this hotel attracts is shocking. It’s like your on a council estate. The one night we had police in the hotel and this was most likely down to an argument of who’s Nike 1 tens were better.
This is the reason why brits get such a bad name abroad. The DWP would have a field day.
Be warned aswell you have to keep the same cup for your stay.

Overall staff were lovely, room was clean and food was alright when Vicky pollard and her ten kids weren’t bouncing off you when your getting your breakfast

We spent most of our time out of the hotel as I didn’t fancy my daughter getting involved in bad crowds.

Never the less alcudia is a beautiful place and we will be back just not at club mac.

The first and the last time

This was our first and the last time in this place.
Starting from the positives.
Hotel is fine, great location, a few pools, some food options, small but clean rooms, very nice and friendly staff hotel, I can't say a bad word about people working there.
The clientele , that's completely different story. It felt like being in not the nicest English pub. The atmosphere, people, absolutely everything. Horrible manners, kids and adults shouting in the hotel, late at night, almost every single night.
It's a family resort but smoking and vaping everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. This should not be allowed in the place like this or have places strictly assigned. But I doubt many of these guests would follow these rules.
Alcohol. It's all inclusive. But I feel like it should be a limited. Just because it's "free" doesn't mean you have to drink it all.
I've never seen before hotel staff being abused because the bar queue was too long. Words like " You are lazy c...t" Again it's a family resort with small children.
I've never seen before someone being arrested in the hotel because of their behaviour.
Unsupervised kids running around.
Restaurant. People picking up the food with hands, unsupervised kids doing the same, mess on the tables.
There is a FB group Club Mac , where I was kicked out and blocked (admin is probably one the guest) for sharing my opinion.
We tried to spend as less time in the hotel as possible and enjoy beautiful beach and town.
Its hard to blame hotel but with all these factors: never again.

I honestly don’t understand the…

I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews for Club Mac Alcudia. The hotel felt overcrowded from the moment we arrived. Long queues everywhere — reception, restaurants, bars, even for the sunbeds. The food was repetitive, low quality, and often lukewarm.
The rooms were outdated and not particularly clean, with thin walls so you could hear noise constantly day and night. Staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in helping most of the time. The pools were packed with screaming kids and there was very little chance to relax anywhere on the resort.
The “all inclusive” experience sounded great on paper but ended up feeling cheap and chaotic. Definitely not the relaxing holiday we paid for, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it unless you enjoy crowded, noisy

We’ve just come back from Club Mac and…

We’ve just come back from Club Mac and wanted to leave a very honest review because before going, we saw some pretty mixed opinions online.

For us, as a normal family holiday with young children, we honestly could not recommend it enough and we will 100% be returning. The resort has absolutely everything you need for young children and even slightly older kids too. The swimming pools were brilliant, the Hydropark was fantastic, and there was always something to do throughout the day and evening.

The entertainment staff were absolutely amazing. Every single member of staff we came across, including the Hydropark staff, were friendly, engaging, hardworking and fantastic with the children. The evening entertainment was great and our kids loved it every night.

A special mention has to go to the pancake man in the Jupiter Hotel! The children absolutely adored him. He was so engaging, flipping pancakes in the air and throwing them onto the children’s plates for them to catch. It became one of the highlights of the holiday for our kids and they looked forward to seeing him every morning.

The food was also really good with plenty of choice for families.

Now, addressing the bad reviews — after staying there, I honestly think a lot of them come down more to some of the people visiting rather than the resort itself. During our stay, there were a few families where the adults were clearly drinking far too much and causing a bit of trouble amongst themselves and occasionally with staff. However, the staff handled those situations fantastically.

If you’re going as a family to enjoy time with your children, spend your days at the pools and Hydropark, enjoy the entertainment in the evenings, and then head back to your room at a sensible time, you’ll have an amazing holiday. As long as you’re not planning on getting hammered and causing problems, you’ll be absolutely fine.

For us, it was exactly the kind of fun family holiday we wanted, and the kids absolutely loved every minute of

Club Mac

Club Mac, what can I say… we visited in October 2025 and never again!

The main selling points were family friendly, and the water park and the pools, whilst the water park is cool, and you get free entry, the sun beds, lockers and food/drinks are extra. There’s also several photographers, €10 per digital photo you buy.

Good points - friendly staff, free access to the water park, free shuttle bus to the beach, reasonably priced shop on site. Spar shop just over the road. Free safe in room.

Bad points - we’re not snobs by a long shot, but it’s like the worst of British all holiday in the same place, at the same time! There’s rubbish everywhere, no matter how many times I saw staff sweeping and picking it up. I’ve never seen so many families getting blind drunk whilst their kids do whatever the hell they like, including trashing the hotels property!
The parents get blind drunk slurring swear words at their children, whilst other children (8/9 years old) are breaking the stadium style seats at the entertainment and commenting ‘what the f##k are you looking at? You d***head!’. Heaven forbid they should watch their kids, half the time most people don’t know where their children are, they treat the whole holiday as kids club for adults to get drunk, sunbath and do wtf they like whilst their children run riot.

Noise, just wow, all day and night, for 14 nights 😳 drunken arguments, kids banging and kicking others doors, screaming in corridors, shouting, fighting… need I go on? We moved rooms (and blocks) the first week because of the sheer amount of noise and what sounded like the neighbour hitting partner and/or child. The second block was the same, but after complaining to Jet2 several times, we gave up and accepted defeat whilst counting down the days to fly home! Jet2 said they could see if they could get us a flight home if they had to, but we would have to pay for it.

Drinks - The €1 for a card that you exchange for a plastic cup didn’t bother us, however, the state of some of the cups was disgusting! I don’t wear lipstick so I can guarantee it wasn’t my lipstick on the cup! The drinks themselves are watered down and depending on which bar you go to, the 7up tastes like stale water. The drinks from the bars inside the restaurants seem to be a lot nicer/less watered down, unless that’s just because you get a real glass so it tastes better.

The rooms, a lot smaller than they look in pictures, the balcony doors in Jupiter block DO NOT LOCK, which isn’t great with a child! No hot water in the bathroom tap. And the bath takes forever to drain, which also then comes up through the floor drain! The “lock” on the main door in the room, pointless, as soon as you/ the cleaners scan the card to get in, it unlocks anyway!

Mosquitos - wow, they’re never ending and we tried several different things to stop them! Worse around the lake area but we found out whilst away, that the hotel is build on what used to be waste land, so apparently that’s why there’s so many.

The smell - if you like the smell of sewage, here’s the place to be! regardless of the rainfall, it’s a daily thing, and you can often smell it in your room. If that’s not bad enough, the neighbours smoke weed on their balcony and stink your room out with it too! They didn’t take the hint when our 7 year old loudly announced what is that smell, it stinks. I can’t blame her though!

Illegal street sellers - you get them everywhere, but these delightful ones allegedly sell drugs too, literally just outside the hotel entrance!

Sickness and diarrhoea - the whole family came down with it, which turned out to be norovirus, but I’m not surprised with the kids touching all the food on the buffet, regardless of there being signs saying kids are not allowed to serve themselves, we saw several children touch food, or several pieces of food, before choosing which bit, if any, they wanted. There was cold “hot” food, and a large amount of flies. And the noise in the dining halls is something else! I’d recommend noise cancelling headphones for everyone, but especially for anyone that is neurodivergent and struggles! Oh and the jugs of water on the table, sometimes they get changed, sometimes they don’t 😳

I feel the hotel has potential, if the clientele weren’t so awful, the staff try their best but honestly, half of them look broken!

To finish this off, I would not call it family friendly, think of the program Benidorm, but worse. To sum up our 2 weeks, we all can home more tired than before we went! We were stressed out, depressed and wanted to go home after the first day.

Jet2 responded to my complaint with a long winded “sorry but it’s not our fault” email

Bed bugs, HFMD, awful… AVOID!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Club Mac and all I can say is thank god we didn’t book for longer. The drain/sewage smell inside our room was awful, overall the place felt grubby, the room was tiny and balcony was ridiculously small. It was so loud at night with screaming children running through corridors at 1am and the majority of the staff were miserable. The food in the restaurant was terrible so we mainly stuck to the snack bar and ate out a fair bit.

AND TO FINISH IT OFF…

My 12 year old was covered in bed bug bites and my 7 year old caught hand, foot and mouth disease.

THE VERY FEW PLUS SIDES…

The kids enjoyed the pool tables, air hockey and tennis courts. The location is okay, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Old town is beautiful and costs under €10 to get there in a taxi.

Just arrived back after 10 days here.

Just arrived back after 10 days here..
here’s our review of the hotel.

Check in - check in was easy, rooms wasn’t ready at the point of arrival so needed to wait around for a hour or so, there was a luggage room to put all luggage in. We went and had a look around grabbed some food & was given our rooms.

Rooms - They are TINY! worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in by far!! Considering this hotel caters for families, they really haven’t accommodated for families. We had 5 people in our room. 2 adults, 2 children & 1 toddler and we were given a room with 1 double bed, 1 single bed & 1 travel cot. We asked reception to change our room and they said I would accrue a charge of nearly €900. €87 per night.

Cleaners / cleanliness - Cleaners came daily, apart from the day after we arrived, standard clean didn’t always change bedding but they made the beds. The grounds were tidy. One thing I will say is 3 of our children came down with bad cases of hand foot and mouth, one of the children ended up in hospital with it. - we were told when we left our rooms they were going to be shut off for 2/4 days for deep cleaning and isolation to stop the spread. My sister asked this morning for late check out and they refused to give her it as the room was then being taken by someone that same afternoon. - even after we were told it needed to be closed down for a deep clean and isolation. 🫣 so if you are there with children please look out for the signs of hand foot and mouth as it is very rife there!

Mosquitoes - WOWOWOWWW never seen anything like it, as a group of 30 we all got ate alive even with trying to avoid the circus entertainment. No treatment works, no avoiding them in my opinion.

Pools and sunbeds - pools are freezing, but wasn’t unbearable, always managed to get a sunbed no matter what time of the day we went to the pool. Some good pools there. 🙂

Food- The food wasn’t as great as we thought it was going to be, unless you like living off pizza, nuggets & chips. I’m a fussy eater as well as my children and had to eat out 5 times. Burger snack bar was phenomenal, we really enjoyed that, same as the pizza van that was really enjoyable. Breakfast was very repetitive, but we made it work.

Entertainment - The circus was where the main entertainment is, we didn’t tend to go over there as that’s where the mosquitoes are rife, so we stayed by Saturno each night, every night was a different singer/music was very chill.

Noise Levels - This is the noisiest hotel we’ve ever been to, and we’ve been going abroad every year for the past 9 years, never known anything like it. (Yes you can say you get what you pay for, but I’ve paid less and got better elsewhere) we stayed in Marte and every night until 2/3am we had people running up and down the corridor, banging on walls, stamping on the ground, having a full on conversations outside rooms. No consideration for anyone that could be asleep. Also, the entertainment being right outside the hotel rooms was a bit of a pain when the baby was poorly but otherwise it was never an issue.

Overall, we had a good time and made the most of what we had; but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, and will not be back. 😀

We were very skeptical of going on this…

We were very skeptical of going on this holiday due to the mixture of reviews, however we have had an amazing week at Club Mac! We were a party of 8 - 5 adults and 3 children and there were things to suit us all! The complex consists of 3 hotels, at least 7 pools ranging from very very shallow for little ones to very deep for adults and children who can swim very well. There were pool activities including an inflatable slide, aqua fitness and ball games. The entertainers were amazing, laughing and joking with the kids and even playing in the water too! Staff were all super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food choices were good for everyone, they have multiple themed nights including Chinese and Indian. The selection was good for both children and adults especially fussy eaters. They even have a ‘late dinner’ which operates from 10pm - midnight which is amazing if you’re hungry or are a late arrival! Room was cleaned each day, fresh towels topped up and toilet roll. Complimentary drinks in the fridge for the premium room considered of water, Pepsi and san Miguel. Complimentary shampoo and conditioner in the shower also. Spare blankets in the wardrobe if you get cold too. Entertainment was great, karaoke night on a Saturday was so fun, bingo every night in the circus and a kids disco. There’s a spar over the road as well as a shop on site. There’s a hairdressers on site offering all different things including braiding for as little as 12 euros - this is open until late. They have kids bars open all day until late, they also have a burger van down by the lake which is open 12:30/4 and consists of chicken nuggets, chips, burgers all wrapped up like fast food which you can take anywhere to eat. The Swan boats on the lake are free between 10am and 12pm. We learnt that there is a snake living in the lake but it doesn’t bite! The children’s rides and bouncy castles are very good to keep the little ones entertained between activities, also a a children’s park on site too! Lots of activities, like shooting area, football, ping pong, pool tables and arcade games. Check out is at 11am which is good to get breakfast and be able to shower, they have a luggage room as well. One of our room keys were lost and there was no problem in replacing it. The only issue is the mosquitos but that’s because this used to be a swamp, they are worse down at the lake and circus area so make sure you have repellent and candles. One of the staff said there is still more to come but they already offer loads! They have multiple stalls on an evening offering the fish that eat dead skin, portraits, Nutella crepes, jewellery, homemade gifts and much more! The waterpark over the road is amazing! Plenty to do! You have to pay for the sun loungers which worked out just under 6 euros per one and for drinks over there but that was a good day out! It was a bit confusing on arrival about the cup situation but basically, you pay a euro deposit and in return you get a card - you give this card to the bars to get a drink, when you are finished get your card back and keep hold of it until the end of your holiday at which point you return the card to the reception desk and get your euros back. Works at keeping the wastage of cups and mess reduced but is hard to understand when you first check in. Bedroom tax is about 15 euros per adult in the room. Overall a great holiday with plenty to do, we were never hungry or bored and the kids loved it! The reviews you have to take with a pinch of salt as everyone has their own idea of a good holiday! We will be returning :)

I would love to have giving the hotel…

I would love to have giving the hotel more stars as the staff were fab the hotel itself great for kids with loads to do and I feel sorry for them to be honest with the people that go there and what they have to deal with.
I would never call out a certain group but the English groups were so bad . I witnessed a 2 yr old child go missing for about 45 mins while her parents and there large party sat at d adult bar all night getting drunk barely looking for the child. The bar man found this 2 yr old child in the child pool at 10pm the pool where she was found was no were near the adults bar she wad found at d Jupiter pool while the parents and there group sat and drank at Saturn . Grown men and woman falling into the restaurant absolutely stupid drunk at lunch time.
Another evening my partner went for water I was taking my 2 kids to there room when a man absolutely out of he's mind got into the same elevator he began talking to the corner if the elevator lifting he's top slapping he's chest shouting he took them all on . I had ti take the kids and run as they were terrified . Hand foot and mouth is rampant there over the summer . My baby cought it and was so so sick for days we were not able to fly home so went to reception thinking id get a discount as he 100% cought it at the hotel I got€20 off only which I was shocked

Wow what a horrific holiday!!

Wow what a horrific holiday!!! I will start with the positives as there are not many. Hotel was great, especially for young kids and families. Lots of activities each day for them, access to the waterpark was also very good. We went with our 10yr old son and he was happy, lots to do and with being all inclusive, he could go up anytime, day or night and have snacks, ice cream and juices. Hotel staff were lovely, hotel was also lovely so no fault there at all. Food was ok, we were there for 9nights and plenty of options for each meal time.
The negatives only come from the hotels clientele. It was mayhem, families of like 14/16 people, all rowdy, all letting their kids run riot. Entertainment was totally abysmal as well. Karaoke singers and a parrot show etc, ok for maybe under 8s but kids aged older thought it was bad also.
Adults screaming and fighting and arguing constantly. Noises in each corridor at night and sometimes all night, was brutal to get to sleep. If you have ever seen the TV Series 'Shameless'? Imagine all the characters from this all going on holiday, well most families were like this. The mum, the dad, disabled gran and grandad, aunts and uncles all looking the same, with 8/9 kids from ages of 3-15 all running about with their mum and 3 different dads.
Most women there were all size 16 plus with tattoos all over them while smoking rollups and enjoying the free booze while the kids running around mental.
To me it seemed as if all the clientele were born on the ugly tree, then all fell out skelping every branch on the way down and then each and every one of them were kicked through Primark and Shein for their holiday clobber!! And then they proceed to go to the beach where every female looking member of the family between 4 and 65 all get matching braids. While all the men stay at the hotel in their hawaiin shirts and sketchers watching the kids who are all magically named Courtney, Caitlin, Chantelle, Charmain, Cara, Caleb, Cooper, Callum, Chanel, Chloe etc.
Mosquitos were a joke also, loads of bites daily, covered in them.
The full place smell like the sewers constantly as well. Its coming out the drains in your hotel room, all the drains round the pools also, its a horrendous vile smell that put you off the full place.
If you like going away with a full family, like free booze, boring entertainment and love to let your kids run riot while you enjoy the free booze, then this is the holiday for all of you's, especially if you's love a rowdy family argument in front of everyone.
But if your a normal holiday goer like myself, love a holiday, nice weather, no bites, good entertainment, great food etc, then please please please, save your money and go elsewhere, this place is nuts.
ClubMac? Should be ClubChav!!
Horrible Holiday and even if it was free, I wouldn't go.
