COFFEEJACK Avis 

It's never worked particularly well and now the seals need replacing. Their website has being saying they are 'out of stock' for months and months.

I ordered an accessory for my coffeejack on 1/10/26. Shipping time quote was 2-10 business days. Okay. After contacting customer service when I didn't receive it in that amount of time. They finally had it shipped from china (confusing for a UK company) on 2/10/26. There was some issue I couldn't desern that had it sitting for two weeks. I reached out to customer service to help with getting it moving. No response. Yes, I used their form on their website - the only way they will receive messages even if they have emailed you. You can't email them back to follow up so you're back at the bottom of their queue. On 3/2/26 the item was indicated as being returned to sender. Still no word from Coffeejack. I like their product but their customer service and reliability leaves everything to be desired. Don't bother.

The Coffeejack produces an excellent espresso for the price and pretty happy with the usability.
Main problem is customer service, or better the lack of it… Twice a plastic part of the main body broke off but got never a reply on various media I tried..

The CoffeeJack DID take a long time to come to fruition (due to COVID), but the company always kept us informed and unfortunately this caused some anxieties and negative reviews.

However, all these concerns were unfounded and my machine was eventually delivered.

I have been using my machine very infrequently and it's produced a nice espresso but not as good as my electric machine (but then why would it be?).

The beauty of the device is that I can take it outside the house, which is my reason for purchase.

After maybe 18 months and as many coffees, I think I did grind my beans a little too fine and whilst making an espresso, a piece of plastic broke off and the machine lost its ability to work correctly.

I emailed customer services, and they sent me a replacement free of charge very quickly.

What's not to like with that? I would give 5 stars for this but I was hoping for a better taste, BUT, it's still very good on the go.

I’ve always loved my coffee jack to the point where I bring it with me everywhere. I order my third one but never received it, it’s been 3 months I’m waiting for it and no help form customer service. I’ll put 5 stars if they help me sort it out as I feel it’s a great product.

I had a thoroughly bad experience with Coffeejack.

It took close to three year to receive it from Kickstarter.

The wait was not worth the hype. It broke down on me after 30-40 uses.

The quality of expresso it produced was decent, but nothing to fall of your chair. I would not recommend.

Broken unit last year after waiting several years for the Kickstarter project to deliver, filled out the forms to report “DAMAGE/LOST COMPONENTS” and heard nothing.
Filled out further forms and then told not to submit, as they were being dealt with in order.
Waited more than 6 months, nothing.
Sent an email 11th January, no response……
Sent to the email address on website, doesn’t exist!

Thank you for the (eventual) response, it is indeed a long time ago!

It wasn’t resolved and I gave up trying to get it resolved, as mentioned email addresses just produced error messages.

From what I recall I did eventually get a glass part and bottom section, but not the top part that allows you to pump it, which had also broken.
I kept the bits, but don’t have a complete unit that would allow me to use it…

It was very disappointing, as I had initially backed the program on kickstarter.
Then bought additional products in subsequent campaigns..

Coffee jack really makes a delicious cup of coffee and it is so portable. The design is lovely and easy to use. After a bumpy start due to shipping issues and a damaged part, I had trouble getting through to anyone. But when I finally did reach them, they could not have been nicer or more responsive to my situation. I just received my replacement and I am very happy with this company. I think they were just a starting up and probably had too much to do with too few people. I could not say, but now it all seems to be running smoothly. I wish them great luck, and I give many thanks for the great customer service I received. Good luck in the new year.

Not very ergonomically designed for people with small hands. It’s an alright product but kind of quirky and need to be a bit more simple to master.

Ashley the company owner genuinely wants to be helpful to his customer and although response time can be little slow, probably due to sheer number of enquiries and nature of small business, I always received response that is helpful and resolved my issue. Ashley also offered to provide spare parts free of charge and personally sent them to me in Australia.

Coffeejack is a great product, a little delicate to use but very compact and produce amazing coffee if you get the hang of it.

Likely because of my region’s covid lockdown in 2020 I saw CoffeeJack’s Kickstarter campaign. Seeing this seemingly impossible endeavor they said they were creating, I invested.
I'm so happy that I did as it has created the best at home latte as I now have an espresso with my steamed milk! In the past 25 years I went from only buying at a café to Italian stovetop espresso (Bialetti Moka), to aeropress and now CoffeeJack! It really tastes like espresso! I have given tastes tests to many coffee lover friends and they always choose CoffeeJack as the best by far!
So people are saying so much in these reviews about the time to finish this project, and yes it did take a lot of patience on my part. Yet, have any of us tried to produce a brand new invention? They communicated all through these four years about this process, so much I had to direct their emails to a separate inbox of which I would lose track of where they were at but I kept faith. It was evident that it took a hella lot of time, effort and money, that we helped provide via their kickstarter campaign to accomplish it. Without our money there would be no CoffeeJack.
So after waiting, sometimes questioningly, for 4 years I have finally received this awesome product!
I am thankful to have seen their website’s page in an email explaining how to properly use this espresso maker. And I'm also glad that I invested more in their upgraded damper. I had both of them but I see the newer one evenly presses down the coffee. I think it is done to press the coffee down to the correct depth that I guess prevents this breakage that some people have experienced. So I after a few months of my and my partner both making espresso every day, have not had our machine broken.
So yes it took 4 years yet two guys managed accomplish this feat and provide to people around the world product that they had to handle the logistics of the produc from China. And then having to coordinate deliveries t
of thir product to locations around the world. I recognize so many levels to what they had to achieve, and I remember again it was just two guys! I wish I could meet them someday to congratulate them in person!
As a former barista and coffee shop owner I can't imagine having to accomplish such a feat. I too had a change of address that was sending my product to it even though clearly they had to coordinate the correction of this system in Chin etc. Yet it's understandable that it's a brand new system that had to be created, and again I say by two people not a big corporation!
It's amazing I think from my perspective what they accomplished. It was not a scam, I have the product and I will continue to buy more for my friends. I hope you give it a try. Please handle the product carefully don't drop it etc. and enjoy a great espresso!

Coffeejack had a rocky start due to covid. But throughout initial struggles, it's clear their passion to create a winning product has sustained them. I travel a lot and also live in a camper van and Coffeejack is my coffee maker of choice! I'm very particular and had been an Aeropress groupie, but CJ is clearly better. And I'm happy to say that any issues I've had have been personally addressed. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to the product which is a winner.

OK - so there were shipping challenges, coupled with a global pandemic, manufacturing challenges, and technical issues merging multiple source databases and different email addresses. Who wouldn't want to cash it all in and call it quits? Ashley, that's who!

Despite challenges that others would have found insurmountable, he never gave up on his original promise to provide a quality product and to deliver everything that was ordered. I think I may have been one of the last (for them I hope so!) to get everything straightened out, but it did get sorted, by Ashley himself, and I received everything I ordered. Sure, with everything, it took time. But my patience was rewarded with generosity and a fantastic product.

I was a backer on their kickstarter campaign from the get go . They launched their product during one of the most challenging times in recent history (Covid pandemic) 2020
It took some time for them to be able to fulfill their orders due to circumstances well beyond their control but they did !
As an entrepreneur myself I can see their hard work and dedication to making this project succeed. Excellent customer service they have really be so transparent and made every effort to make sure that all comments or questions have been answered and concerns resolved. A rare quality these days of big business.
I have recently purchased a second coffeejack as a gift. My original has become my go to espresso maker. The quality of the espresso from my coffeejack is top notch . It’s so much my preferred way that
my counter top espresso machine sits waiting to be used .
I would definitely recommend buying a coffeejack

This is a great product! Well engineered!

I've been using my Coffee Jack for over a year now and it's my go to coffee maker. It's straightforward to use, reliable and makes a great cup of coffee. My experience of the company's customer service responsiveness has also been very positive.

After a long journey from start to finish Coffeejack fulfilled their end of their promise. I'm happy for them to push past the logistical problems and to bring their product to finality (with even major upgrades of there product) in the midst of a world-wide pandemic. I'm happy to have purchased a second Coffeejack to gift to a couple who are going out on missions to preach and teach the Jesus is Lord. It's a great product to provide much needed coffee to these Missionary friends. Help get the word out for this fantastic Coffee machine.

I am glad that the delivery issues had been resolved and I received the two units delivered to my home.

It wasn't perfect regarding the delivery (some items arrived broken - I was a Kickstarter backer) but in the end it was resolved and I got brand new replacements.
As per the machine operation I think it delivers what's promised. Great thing about the portability too. Overall I can recommend.

Updated: The unit hadn't arrived but they helped figure it out and eventually I received a unit. It works well so far and the instructions are clear. Most importantly the coffee is good.

Never received my packages after 5 years. I even did an extra order plus extra fee to get an express shipment that was supposed to happen 2 years ago. And getting in touch with anyone there is quite difficult. Because of them, I stopped trusting Kickstarter.
