Excellent Customer Service and Outstanding Support at DCL Insurance

I received a cheaper quote from another…
I received a cheaper quote from another company arround £200 cheaper than DCL renewal offer. I spoke with lady Jill and after discussing with her Manager she reduced my quote to £250 pounds which was best price compared to any other insurance company. I highly recommend DCL for private hire insurance

Have been with DCL for the last 6 years, have always found them to be competitive. The customer service is second to none. On this occasion my premium was slightly higher than a competitors but was happy to renew with them because of their excellent service.

My experience with DCL has been mixed
My experience with DCL has been mixed, but overall I found them to be very expensive for what they offer.
Their pricing structure doesn’t feel transparent. They tend to quote high upfront, then offer small discounts here and there, which can make it seem like you’re getting a deal — but in reality, the overall cost still ends up being quite high compared to the market.
It often feels like a sales tactic rather than genuine value.
The service itself is acceptable, but not exceptional enough to justify the premium pricing.
I would advise others to:
Compare quotes carefully
Not be swayed by small discounts
Look at the total cost rather than the “reduced” figure
Overall, I would say proceed with caution and do your homework before committing.
