Elderly mother has been left with no sofa for the past 3 months. Changed a sofa and was told measurements are fine. 1st delivery attempt 2 guys came and tried the very minimum. Bought a 3 Seater sofa for £800 & it lasted 7 months...every cushion was sagging terribly & the sofa just looked shabby...I'll never buy from them again so I'm thankful they only got £800...Futhermore their advert on TV makes it look like every sofa made by hand on the British Isles...Total Rubbish the factory is actually 4 hours from Wuhan...Yip Wuhan China...Don't believe me then Google it & see for yourself.

I am absolutely appalled by the customer service we have received by DFS. It’s absolutely disgusting! I wouldn’t ever recommend you or use your services again. We ordered a sofa in April in store and was misled from there about payments, we knew we would have to wait 9 weeks for the sofa but was
Told by Luke (doesn’t work there anymore - hmm) that we could come in 10 days before to either pay in full / start finance. So 10 days before we came into store (Banbury) and was told by the manager that it would THEN take another THREE weeks…. If we were told that originally then we would have sorted this when we first ordered the sofa!
My partner has called everyday to chase up our sofa to get ‘yeah we will get someone to call you back ASAP’ then nothing! Hes been in contact with the store (Banbury) and the store manager who’s just as bad.
He’s logged over 15 complaints. We are so close to just cancelling the order completely and going elsewhere.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service prob one of the worse I ever had to deal with. I went to the Croydon branch to look for sofas and me and my partner asked about one in particular. The sales person said it would take up to 2 months which is reasonable. It’s now been over 2 months and trying to contact DFS to have an update, their phones are just ringing so thought I would try the live assistance with no luck after 3 hours of waiting on my day off work. If you have the chance avoid buying from them as reading customer feedback and experiencing it myself customers do not come first. The website does not tell you a lot about the process or estimated time of arrival. Honestly a bad experience! Will not buy from them again.

Ascensos runs the customer service for DFS how I know that is because I been there for the last 3 months and left because its a joke feel sorry for you customers.
One of the worst company you could work for. The managers couldn't even run a bath thats for sure. The managers not willing to help the people thats got customers kicking off about DFS because the managers do not have enough training behind them. I have one of the manager Daniel Kelly tell me to go back to my trade where I was before and I told him straight he needs to have training on managers skills guess he's never had them at the job before this. Please anyone that wants a job here please don't this company is a joke and who ever runs the company thats at the top then ring me I will happy to talk to you but that will never happen just like you offer call backs to DFS customers and never happens.

Well received a text message last week saying sofa was ready to be delivered and to click on link to arrange a date for delivery. Clicked on the link and a message saying no slots available and to phone them. Spent all last week trying to phone. 45 minutes wait on Monday morning 9:07 (warning bells already) couldn't get through that time. When I did eventually get in touch was told no slots available and to try again later. So end of week and no further to receiving. Then woke up this morning with a message to track so I went back to check and now I don't even get the option to try to book a time slot... Help me out here DFS.!!!

Appalling service. WARNING: DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They are only interested in your money not after care service. I bought a sofa 4 years ago. It is a 2 seater recliner. The mechanism has broken and to add insult to injury it was scraping on the floor and damaged my wooden floor, so I have had to go through my home insurance to get a new floor. The mechanism I was promised at the end of May. May came and went no mechanism. Then promised early June. After many phone calls and trying to fob me off the service manager at Bolton rang me back to tell me that it will now be end of July. You can imagine my fury. I cannot keep a sofa that may now damage my new floor which is being fitted on the 6th July. I may now need to take my Falcon sofa to the tip as I can't risk keeping it on my new floor in case that gets damaged. The manager said they cannot offer me a temporary one and keep mine in storage until fixed. Well surprise surprise I would have expected anything more. So a warning to anyone who is thinking of buying a sofa at DFS - JUST DON'T - it will only cause you heartache down the line. CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXISTENT WITH CONDESCENDING STAFF WHO DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU

I ordered a sofa and chair and was told it would take 8-9 weeks. Then 8 weeks later they rang and said there had been a mistake and it would be 10 more weeks. They offered no recompense or discount following their mistake. I wasn't impressed.
Cheaply made and disappointed
I have taken delivery of a sofa yesterday, for our small living room, only to find that only the top half of the cushions are covered in material, which incidentally seems cheap and will certainly not take any hard wear. Always when buying a sofa we are told to keep turning the cushions, but not it seems with DFS...I will post again in six months with our findings of wear etc.

Waited 12 weeks for 2 sofas costing just under 3 grand wow they are disgusting the three seater creaks on both seats when sitting moving on it or standing up from it and the seats looks saggy and baggy only sat on them twice and the other as dents in the back where the wadding as been missed it looks disgusting ive emailed every man and his dog this is 2 days after being delivered i have rejected them under consumer rights act 2015 3 days not one reply to my email and ive sent it to 5 different people including tim stacey the CEO of DFS. Please anyone thinking of buying from here dont its a shambles

I don’t think any of you actually listen to what the customer service people say. It’s 48-72 hours for a call back, not the same day, the customer service team are trying their best and everyone I have spoken to has tried. No need to take it out of them for something they aren’t able to do

Having waited 3 months for a large corner sofa and Chair one of the middle sections is a totally different colour. Driver said he would take pictures and head office would call me back the same day but heard nothing. Rang following day and DFS are unaware of any issue. £5,148 sofa and this is the service level. appalling!!

Terrible terrible service..if I could I would shout from the roofs to tell ppl not order from them. They promise u a date and nothing arrives. They never call back. Customer services is clueless. Hopeless customer service
Hopeless customer service in store and online. Ordered fabric samples for a sofa approx 5 weeks ago hoping to take advantage of the launch price but they never arrived. After lockdown I then tried to view the sofa in person instead but it isn’t in store anywhere. On asking customer service if they could honour the price (due to end in few days) until new samples arrived they said they couldn’t do anything about it and to buy the sofas and return if we didn’t like the colour…not very practical given I would have to get rid of my current sofa beforehand and then have no furniture if returning (nevermind having to pay a non refundable delivery charge and wait months for delivery). The customer service representatives are shockingly rude and unhelpful including one staff member from the York store getting very stroppy with me on the phone when I simply asked if there is anything they can do. No managers ever available to speak to. Awful service and will take custom elsewhere.

Took 5 lots of paper work to be returned to them as they reckon they did not receive 1 lot and got lost in the post!

Got a delivery time slot and 8 hours later still not arrived!
Unless you contact them they will make no effort to contact you!
Do not use this company unless your happy waiting until December 2091 for your sofa.
