Dogsnug Avis 97

My husband and I were looking for a carrier for our puppy mini dachshund, he had some targeted ads from Dogsnug on Instagram and after a search, saw they had a store in Stoke Newington.

I went there after work and was greeted by the lovely staff in there, who were super helpful and knowledgeable (of course they were, they ran the business) and after finding out they hand make a lot of their accessories, I decided to buy.

We’ve used the Puppy carrier in our trip to Edinburgh and our pup was so comfortable in it that he falls asleep. I’m glad we took their advice and bought the size up as this would be a shame for him to outgrow so quick. It’s great quality and sturdy. I would say maybe slightly more padding in the shoulder strap but other than that it’s pretty great.

The dog snug did not disappoint. Our little dachshund is a very happy and warm pup. Quite expensive but well worth it. May well be ordering a second soon.

I received a notification in 12th November that the order had been despatched but I am unable to track it and I’m still waiting for the order on 20th November.

Really great quality bag, my pup is too young for long excursions and hadn’t liked the other bags we’ve tried but this one is like catnip - he falls asleep in it on trains, whilst walking around, even when visiting new cities! And the wide strap makes it comfy for me!

My dogs love their new coats it keeps them dry and warm on these wet and cold walks.

Absolutely brilliant company. Went to great lengths to ensure I received my dachshund carrier in time for a holiday even after the (third party) delivery service had let them down by not collecting my purchase in time for next day delivery! Actual item is superb! 🤗 Perfectly designed specifically for dachshunds, it’s supportive, comfortable (for both doggy & owner) and extremely hard wearing AND discreetly stylish (even my partner was happy to “wear” it) Our dachsie ‘Clover’ quickly adapted to it and being so close to me AND not having to puddle her way through the wet streets resulted in a VERY happy (+ dry/clean) doggy 😊 Visiting Cornwall, a lot of fellow dog owners commented or even stopped us to ask where we had bought the carrier & we were more than happy to direct them to the Dogsnug website. Will definitely continue to use this company and are more than happy to recommend them for their superb & personalised customer service. Easy checkout process and super fast delivery.
The Air Puppy & Dachshund Dog Carrier is very well made and feels sturdy with our mini dachshund inside. He obviously feels secure but I love the addition of the fastener that attaches to his harness. The wide padded strap makes it very comfortable and the fact the strap is adjustable is excellent for all members of the family to use. The deep pocket on the front is very useful and deep enough that you could put your phone inside without worrying about it falling out.
We had the poop bag holder as a free gift but I would have happily bought it. It's well made and feels sturdy, it clips onto the lead easily and dispenses the bags easily. It even came with a free roll of bags!
Lastly the plastic free packing is excellent and doubles as a free bag for life that has adorable pictures of dogs on the front.
I love that it's a British business with everything made sustainably in the UK and the workers are paid a fair wage. I'll definitely be back for more products as our puppy grows!

I love the size and material. The harness seems very flimsy and the drawstring poor quality considering how much it cost. I have only used it once for a short distance and was happy with it. We are going on a holiday soon so will be using it over long walks. He used it as a bed in the pub!

Expensive for a small bit of fabric that you have to pull on, also the back rises when the dog is walking.

Beautifully made dog jackets & lovely colours .
No mention of measuring with a harness on if you require harness holes so you can clip the lead on so both mine were way too tight ~ I genuinely didn't think of doing that . I measured both correctly but the one for my smaller dog was too short along get back . The legs are too tight & will not bend my dog's paws to get them in the arm holes , no one should . Too snug ironically & over priced. I have donated the two I bought to a dog rescue. Disappointed

These fit very well, covering the whole back, high neck, chest and tummy, so, all cosy and dry. Good length with great reflective strip. Washes and dries quickly. I bought 3 to change often.

Hi unfortunately the dog carrier was not suitable for our dog therefore we requested a refund. I could see nothing wrong with the quality of the product and it may well be suitable for other dogs. I look forward to a reply re the return process.I note that indy original review i only gave one star. My mistake that I didn't click on the star rating . Happy to give it a 5 stars.my only observation is that we sent a message to your inbox but didn't receive a reply as to the procedure . Other than that all OK.
