Dyno-Rod - West Midlands Avis 

Called Dyno-Rod at 9:00am and they were out at 11:15am. Engineer was called Pete and was very polite and helpful. We were very impressed at how hard he worked to rectify the problem in the 32 degree heat!

All very straightforward and professional - both to book and then resolve a potentially very messy problem!

Pete came out today within the hour. We live in Dudley Russell’s hall.
Kindly went next door to do a jet blast to unblock pipe.
All done and sorted within 45 minutes
And only cost £195.
I was earlier quoted £580 saying they needed to take the toilet out.
Definitely recommend fast, reliable and fair price.

Would just like to say how amazing the engineer Ryan was who covered the B69 area on Monday 18th, he keep me updated on his eta through homeserve, he was prompt, friendly, very professional, managed to find and remove the fault quickly, explained to me what he done to resove matter, 👏

Ethan and Mark were excellent and went above and beyond in resolving very complicated problems. I understand how drains work and had tried to resolve it myself. They were exceptional and I hope this feedback back reaches them from their management team, they are an asset to your company.

The teams which visited the property, such as the pluming and Jet team were good.

Where l found fault, in the organisation was with their Co-ordination/Manager.

Despite paying thousands of pounds for this job to be undertaken, we received a lot of obstructive behaviour from Ethan the Manager. Appears lacking in communication, interpersonal skills and how to manage situations effectively.

He caused a great deal of stress and anxiety, which could have been avoided if dealt with by him speaking with British Gas, instead he kept on deferring the issues he was experiencing to the Customer.

Also, l believe it is necessary for Dyno - Rod to spend more money on their equipment, essential for effectively clearing customers blocked drains etc.

One of the jet vans/units sent to our property was unable to fulfil its function, due to what appears to be lack of investment into their equipment. They don’t appear to have many Jet vans at their disposal.

I then had to get on the phone again and plead with Eathan to despatch another Jet unit to clear the blockage, he was reluctant to do so, but eventually did send a Jet Team the following day.

I had great issues with Ethan only, through out the process of getting work completed, no issues with the gentlemen who came out to do the physical work.

If you send out a "dig team" it would be of great value if they have "Jet Facilities" to clear the blockages. Once the camera has been inserted there is the potential it will be obstructed.

When you send out a Jet unit only, it would make sense to provide them with a camera unit, so they can double check the blockage has been cleared completely.

So you may benefit from skilling up your "Jet Teams" with cameras and the "Dig Team" with jets. They just need to receive the necessary knowledge and skills/training to operate the tools needed.

The plumbers introduced themselves and wore overshoes on entering the house. Informed me of a problem with the kitchen mixer tap and gave me option of fitting a replacement free of charge or purchase one myself and return to fit it. They returned and completed the work including replacement valves for dripping taps in ensuit. They cleaned before leaving and I was impressed with their respect for my property and workmanship. Based on my experience I highly recommend Dyno-rod. Thanks to plumbers Tom, Lewis & George.

Friendly staff, within a hour of phoning, Daniel came to sort out kitchen sink. Identified the cause, and cleared the blockage. He was very cheerful thruout the visit, got the drain cleared and tidied up afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Polite and keen to resolve issue with drain. Sadly, had to refer issue to Severn Trent as blockage was affecting next door as well.

Engineer Shane went absolutely above & beyond to ensure all problems were sorted. So helpful, cheerful & extremely patient with my elderly Dad, and got the job done super efficiently with minimum fuss - really can’t fault our service. Thankyou

Came out very quickly and sorted the problem with no fuss.

Booking online was easy. Quick and efficient.

Issue was the quote for the work by the engineer was provided before he turned up at the property and had not inspected the drain.
I felt obliged to accept the price even though it’s supposed to be a no obligation price without call- out charge.
The blocked drain (kitchen drain and thought it was a fat problem) had drained overnight before the morning appointment.
Lifted the drain cover and no blockage. Turned out it was a few leaves blocking water egress.
Still charged the £195 “quoted” before turning up to assess the problem. I accept that it would be a bit harsh not to pay something even if there is a no call-out policy but consider the £195 extortionate and sharp practice which is exploitative of the situation.

I would recommend a small family business that’s been trading for a good few years rather than take a risk with whoever you have in your area.

Did not unblock the pipe completely, charge again if come to unblock again. Why can't you do the job properly in the first place?
