Won't be going there again

I have ordered from Fabricland and overall have no complaints about their service but the two honest reviews I wrote about the description of two products that were not as described have not been published on their site. My conclusion is that customers are not getting a true representation of the products they are purchasing. Examples: Plastic tablecloth described as PVC 'fabric' and 'Anti static' dress lining being extremely static. Is this an oversight or dishonest?

I have recently ordered some fabric. The fabric were exactly as the picture and description online! The delivery was fast. Very happy overall! 😊

Wish I had checked reviews on here first. Terrible quality material, not as advertised and no refunds given despite ordering a full 25m which surely they could resell they argued it was a ‘bespoke’ length. The person on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. Avoid at all costs!!

Great fabric and prompt delivery!

Really good, affordable fabric which arrived promptly. I have had several orders now and although one was slightly delayed - during peak of covid-19 - every other delivery has been very prompt.

The delivery that was delayed I emailed and received a reply very quick saying it had been dispatched and arrived the next day. Very helpful and would definitely recommend using this company to others.

Placed an order Tuesday evening and it arrived before 10am Thursday! Thank you.

bought some fabric, it was badly cut and packed, been asking for a refund since April still nothing to date. terrible customer service and using Covid19 as an excuse.

Nice selection of fabrics, reasonable prices. Good delivery time considering national deliveries delayed by pandemic.
Happy to use again.

The Portsmouth shop is apparently shutting down which is no surprise as other shops have also shut down and unfortunately it is all down to poor senior management and customer service.
Been waiting for my order to be completed for 4 months as I keep receiving wrong items, can not understand why it’s hard to measure 5 metres of cotton drill been sent 3 metres of plain cotton twice???? Tried contacting Fabricland for an explanation by email but no response I then a few days later made many phone calls to them ,eventually did get to speak to someone who told me to have more patience and said it will be with me within the week, that was two weeks ago. Had enough of the rude and incompetent staff now I’ve asked for a refund so I can take my business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service.Expensive delivery. Recently ordered some fabric (cost £14) and paid for quick delivery (£7) which was supposed to arrive within 2-3 days.
1 full week later, still no order so I emailed them which triggered a 'your item has been despatched' email. Obviously they had forgotten, which is fine, under the current circumstances, but when my parcel arrived (with a next day courier) it was damaged- 10metres of interfacing stuffed into a small carrier bag screwed up and ripped.
I emailed them to complain, again, no response. Buyer beware.

I placed an order on 19th May and it arrived in full today on 9th June. That's not too bad given the current circumstances and it did say 12 + 2 days delivery on the website when I ordered. The fabrics I ordered look great and I can't wait to use them. I just can't decide what to do first.
I would have given Fabric Land 5 stars if their communication had been better and they had updated me at some point.
If you order from them you just need to be patient.

After waiting nearly 4 weeks for my order it arrived with two thirds missing no explanation so a few buttons ended up costing me over £5 such bad customer service,will think twice before shopping with them again.

No answering emails, no goods despatched. I will go to small claim court!!

Horrible service!!!
Ordered 14 May a good amount of products as I work sewing. After 12 days, did email them to know when would be dispatched (as per their website states 12 days maximum). Was completely ignored. On 28 May (14 days after purchase) was contacted by Sara to let me know some items were sold out. Choose to substitute one product but ask to have the other one refunded. Since this day, no dispatch information. Sent already an email and I’m being completely ignored. If you can’t cope selling your products to people because you are prioritising NHS scrubs, please DO NOT SELL!!! After all this pandemic you will need your costumers and most people will go away from your POOR COMPANY and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I would have given them 0 stars if possible. Placed order on the 5th May after many emails chasing the order (since there was no communication at all) I was told that it would now take 5 days to dispatch the items rather than 3 due to covid-19, however I only just received the items today the 1st June, so it took nearly 1 months to get i cut of fabric and one curtain pleat. I asked them to cancel my order but I take it they never did.
Poor customer service
And delivery is very expensive.

Needless to say I will never order from them again.

I ordered my fabric without checking trust pilot (unusual for me). If I had, I would probably not have ordered it at all. However, the website clearly said there was a delay for delivery. Mine took a couple of days more that it stated but there were two bank holidays during that period. When it arrived there was one item missing. I contacted the company by email. I didn't hear anything back so after reading these reviews I assumed the worst and accepted I'd lost about £5. To my delight today I found I had been given a refund on my credit card so very happy. I think where this company falls down is in its communication with customers. Products and prices are good. Postage is probably a little high.

I ordered at the beginning of the month for essential items including elastic and fabric to make face masks. However it’s now 4 days until June and the order I placed at the beginning of may still hasn’t arrived despite passing the 12 day processing time frame twice over. Then the company has been unavailable to contact and emails responses have been automated just saying they can’t reply because they are busy. I have tried being sympathetic to the situation but still waiting double the predicted processing time I’ve grown annoyed at the lack of customer service and the risk that my order will come with items missing. It’s simple update the processing time so that me and all other customers know what to expect when ordering and if you’re not sure you can fulfill an order do not accept payment for it people want their products not a refund. Have just gotten what seems to be a very rude email in caps stating that it was somehow an inconvenience that people had to cut the fabric that i had ordered from a fabric store their words being “ UNLIKE MOST PRODUCTS THAT JUST GET TAKEN OFF A SHELF, PEOPLE HAVE TO CUT THIS FOR YOU. SO THIS TAKES TIME.” this is disgusting customer service

Very slow delivery despite the ridiculous charge, poor communications and an incomplete order when it finally did arrive.

I reluctantly agreed to pay the extortionate delivery price that Fabric Land charge because I needed materials to make face masks. I had to email them to chase them and waited 19 days for my order, only to find that the elastic, the main reason for my order, had been removed. Awful experience, wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone.

Much the same as everyone else unfortunately.

Email are returned with a capitol letter generic reply not addressing any of your query.

I understand the circumstances we are in at the moment and I’m sure most reasonable people would understand if you are having issues although what is frustrating is the zero customer service.
No time to read and reply properly to emails but time to upload on social media selling products, it’s a little cheeky.
