Don't buy movies on this application I…

Don't buy movies on this application I own 199 movies that I can't download on my computer. The only way to download is on a moble device. And a moble device can't hold all that data . Basically you don't own the movies if their application goes down you lose all your movies . In this society now they want you to believe you own something but you don't I haven't bought anymore movies from this company

Ive tried to buy ticket over fandango…

Ive tried to buy ticket over fandango and im a member so i can get free ticket once a month. Ive paid my membership and I’ve try to use my points but no I can’t buy tickets cover fandango since Wednesday and I ve called support service yesterday . They told me that the problem is on website so I have to wait two hour and then I again could buy tickets cover fandango. Today is Friday and no I still can’t buy ticket over the fandango it’s want let me still .

Fandango is by far the worst…

Fandango is by far the worst establishment to even do business with . I’ve given fandango several opportunities to do right but it seems like they just went from bad to worse ! Everytime i try to order tickets fandango says purchase didn’t go through yet bank statement shows it went through and it’s pending . Then when you call or speak to customer service they say money is on hold and will be released back in 3-5 business days! Why is there a hold if the purchase didn’t go through ! Give yourself peace and don’t bother with fandango

Don't expect a refund even if you're dying

I started the 7-day free trial when purchasing a ticket and wound up in the hospital before I could cancel it. I tried contacting fandago multiple times, explaining the situation and asking about a possible refund, and received the equivalent of a middle finger each time.

Reading these other reviews makes me extra sad, I don't know how they still have a business when they are so unwilling to work with customers.

No more fanclub for us

I do not recommend the reward membership fan club. We’ve lost tickets multiple times because once you apply your reward to a movie, no changes are allowed. They also make it super complicated to retrieve any bonus rewards. We won’t be renewing our membership. We will use our theater’s program instead.

I cancelled my membership they day I signed up because I realized I wouldn’t need it, just saw I was still billed so I reached out to them and was told they can’t do anything about it.

I haven’t used the Membership nor plan to, sad that such a large company is super shady

I bought tickets and food for the wrong…

I bought tickets and food for the wrong day. I realized in time to use the online exchange/refund and that went smoothly... but during that time I had to find how to exchange/refund for the overpriced food I had purchased for my kids which you need to get a customer service rep. After waiting for the automation to go through all the prompts, I got to a customer service rep. He needed my info, the theater, and what I was calling for... I asked him if I could get the food refunded, but he told me the movie had already started. But you can see on my account I'm not at the theater because I exchange the tickets and that we'd been on the phone going through the details and now the movie has started. They offered nothing... can't wait to delete this app.

fandango BYE

I have been a fandango customer since 2014. I bought 3 tickets and didn't realize I purchased the wrong day until the movie already started I wanted them for the next day and got a hold of customer service about accidentally buying the wrong date and they refused to change, credit or reimburse. I will never use Fandango ever again! deactivated my account and kicked to the curb just like they did to me.

If I could give a 0 I would, I purchased tickets for myself and my son for a movie and by mistake I purchased them for an incorrect showing, mind you the showing had already started. When asked if there was even an option to exchange, they kept saying sorry even though they acknowledged that this should not have happened. After this rest assure that I will never be utilizing Fandango for movie ticket purchases ever again in my lifetime.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I cant begin to tell you the numerous problems I have had with Fandango. They couldn't find the tickets I purchased even through I sent them the email with conf # that they sent me!!
You cant get thru to them by phone and no one available under chat.
Stay far away unless you want headaches

I just found out they are changing yo a so called licensed afreement instead of you owning your digitals I do not feel comfortable purchasing under these terms. I am very disappointed you buy something that may not be there in a year or so. I purchased over 1200 movies now you loose mt business because of a California law go woke you go broke.

You Buy, They Control

I used to love Vudu, but the "new & improve" Fandango at Home app is Terrible. After you buy a movie or TV show, you can only watch it via their App. Back when it was Vudu, you could download the movie/TV show you BOUGHT and then watch it on a different device (aka Tablet) without being on the Internet.

When I contacted their "customer support" they sent me an e-mail which does not answer my issue but tells me I can not use their app outside of the USA.

I don't understand why they are restricting how we watch the Movies/Shows we purchased from them. By making us use their APP, so you can only watch in the USA, they are restricting the use of your purchase. If I bought a Movie on a DVD, the price would be the same and I could take the DVD anywhere I wish. ALSO any Movie/TV show I buy from Prime is easily downloaded and most of the time they are cheaper. I guess they want to lose customers!

Fandango at Home is an absolute joke

Fandango at Home is an absolute joke. And Fandango itself probably isn’t much better. I’m about ready to cancel my Fandango membership.

I’ve been trying to use a code that I received for being a member of Fandango. It’s a code that can only be applied to Fandango at Home. But there’s glitches with the code or something. I’ve contacted Fandango at home four days ago by calling them. The issue has yet to be fixed.

Every time I get an email from Fandango at Home the issue is never fixed. They keep asking for the code, even though I gave them the code over a dozen times. They keep asking me to verify myself, even though I have constantly done that.

Why can’t they just stop messing around and get the problem fixed. Either fix the code or give me another code or a credit and just fix it. What the heck are they doing?

Fandango At Home is a joke! The rating system for my experience with this company doesn't warrant the use of a meteor, let alone a star. I have made more than 10 attempts to reset my password after my current one stopped working, with no luck. Fandango At Home customer service is about as useful as dirt on water, which is ... wait ... MUD! I have spent money on movies and cannot access them. Clearly this company needs to be sued for negligence. Now along with so many others, I am a victim of this unscrupulous company

They swindled me out of $50.82

They swindled me out of $50.82, because of exchanges and then the cost of 3 tickets that has to go into Fandango in store credit, bc of a child illness (flu). I was on the phone with several representatives. One rep. Hung up on me, after telling me their system error was my fault, because I tried to access the money that I had in in-store credit, too many times, when I got the system glitch on first attempt. It would not let me use the $50.82 to re-purchase 3 tickets at a theater, to watch captain america, when my son was well. We would still have 1 other ticket in fandango credit, remaining ($16.94). So I thought, maybe I try to go IMAX, and use up the funds on a more expensive outing. Tried that for two tickets, added $3.00 to match what was owed, and the system glitched and would not let me purchase the tickets, though it went all the way through the process and showed the credit going to the purchase of the 2 IMAX tickets. So the problem for escalated twice. I heard back from them, the first time, and they had blocked my Account and card. They unblocked the account, not the card, and when I went back into the system, my balance was $0.00. They tell ME, the person that has been calling and emailing them, the person that still has not watched captain America with his kids, that fandango owes me nothing! Their system shows I have a ZERO balance! But that’s ok, we know what KARMA IS! And, I’ll make sure my friends and my friends’ friends know to NEVER USE FANDANGO for anything. They are liars, thieves, and crooks.

Horrible horrible scammy site. Ordered a popcorn bucket compbo for my kid with movie ticket. Charged and confirmed that they received order but never sent the ticket. I am trying to resolve so my kid can see the movie he wants and now they want me to send credit card statements to show the charge...their own email showing they charged me wasnt enough. On top of that I was trying to get my kid into the premiere and now I am waiting for their 3 days for them to "get back to me." Never use Fandango

I ended up out over $67.00 for a movie…

I ended up out over $67.00 for a movie I could not even watch. Their app did not work and they never sent a confirmation. I could not open my account and kept getting an error message and the tickets could not scanned. I had to purchase another set of tickets in the theater. I was instructed to call Fandango which I did from the theater and dispite even proving I had called them to get refunded for their app not working they did nothing. The theater was aware of the whole ordeal. Sadly, Fandango just kept quoting there policy of us not canceling prior to start time. We tried to log into the website and access a confirmation code but could not get it receiving an error message. By the time we were able to reach someone we had to buy another four tickets for the 6:30 showing since we could not see the 6:05 showing we bought on Fandango. Their app had error messages and at last got in at 6:35 while on the phone with a representative. First call hung up and 2nd call again stated they could not credit or refund. Very unsatisfactory customer service. They may have a policy but when it is their fault and an issue with their website how can they not make things right? They ruined my evening and I paid a total of 132.00 for a duplicate of 4 tickets.
I will never use them again.
