Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. I was hung up on twice and no body seems to know about there website, how to finish the fingerprint process and how to locate a "required" Field print code. Each time i called i was on hold for more than 20 minutes and the people i spoke to were very short and rude I think one of the names was Shelty that I spoke with. Please dont use this site....

I'm really unhappy with this service

I'm really unhappy with this service. I registered for fingerprinting for an adoption over a month ago. My registration got lost in the system, so I registered again. That was a month ago, and it has yet to get approved so I can schedule my appointment. The approving agency hasn't seen it pushed through yet, but every time I reach out to Fieldprint, I either get told they can't help me, they don't respond to my multiple voice mails, or I get hung up on. In the meantime, all I want is to be able to take my daughter to the doctor. I really need for someone at Fieldprint to be at least a little concerned with this.

This company doesn't have an ounce of professionalism. They do not care to help and they do not care if you get your prints done or not. I have never spoken to "customer service reps" with such a lack of concern for their doing their job.

Listen to me so very clearly when I say find any other company to do your fingerprinting through. I have dealt with this company for two months now just trying to get fingerprints completed so that I could start my job. The codes my employer gives me doesn’t work, and after dealing with that for a few weeks, I decided to do it on my own and pay for it out of my pocket just so that I can start my job. However, now that also won’t get approved and I’m stuck twiddling my thumbs, unable to do anything. I could have already be working this job if it weren’t for the lack of care and concern on this company’s part. I have called them multiple times and it takes a 30 minute hold every single time to get anybody and when I finally get somebody on the phone. They rushed me off as quickly as they can with just as little help as possible. When I emailed them to try to get things sorted out in that way, they just decide to stop answering me. Learn from my mistake and go anywhere else.

Took me 4 times to complete I-9

The website instruction is not clear what documents to bring for the I-9 when scheduling the appointment and the offsite person at the office are all OLD GENTLEMAN who know nothing about the process for international documents and are impatient to go through the process. Also when it fails first time, the reason to reschedule the appointment is also unclear and I have to go there third time and fourth time. I tried to call customer service to understand what I should provide and I have to wait 30+ min on the phone to get to a representative who also knows nothing about I-9 procedure and says that she has to email questions to the department which has no direct phone number that I can contact by myself. Worst experience for I-9.

Fieldprint Fingerprinting Services--Too Few Locations & Poor Delivery Management

This company manages FBI fingerprinting background checks for businesses that require their contractors and employees have these on file. My new company asked me to complete the Fieldprint background check, informing me my start date would be dependent on the successful check. That was nearly a MONTH ago.

In my neighborhood, there are over TWO DOZEN background check companies--most conveniently affiliated with FedEx or UPS. So the service is readily available. However, my company happens to contract with Fieldprint specifically. To get a "Livescan" background check same day, I'd have to drive HOURS to one of their obscure locations and then drive hours back home. In the era of climate change, this is irresponsible and wasteful, not to mention costly at a time of record-high gas prices.

Alternatively, I could choose to have a fingerprinting kit mailed to me and then take this to a local police department to complete the work. Not wanting to waste fuel and HOURS on a long-distance trip, I chose this option. It has been over TEN days since I placed the order and no kit has arrived. Worse, Fieldprint won't return calls, so I have no update to give my company. Meanwhile, instead of starting work--and I've been eager to do so for weeks now--I'm just waiting around for a kit delivery.

Why can't Fieldprint manage to get a paper kit out to consumers in under two weeks? I get mail from all over the US in never longer than 7-days. I think the company, to save money, chooses bulk delivery options that de-prioritize individual customers' deliveries. I'm already considering choosing another company to work with because I can't afford to wait around any longer to see IF Fieldprint will actually get the package to me.

Poor customer support and insufficient availability of service. If Fieldprint refuses to do business with the many, many local businesses that can offer fingerprint services, then it should offer expedited delivery options so customers can get their fingerprint kits in well under a week. I won't choose to do business with companies in the future that contract with Fieldprint.
