The worst customer service you will find!

I see the people that have been fortunate enough to receive there item without an issue are happy. I can only assume they have never had to call them about issues because the Woman on the phone has the worst customer services you will find anywhere. The fire we ordered was delivered to the wrong address then when finally it was delivered it was severely damaged. The box was open and parts inside were bent. We called them immediately and their attitude is basically tough. She claims my 85 year old granddad has picked up the fire and broken it. Fortunately for us and the rest of the World we have distance selling regulations which they seem unfamiliar with. I would seriously look elsewhere for a fire AVOID!

Thanks for the above comments, the below gentleman has not ordered a gas fire from us he however he has contacted us on behalf of his father-in-law. Though none of his details are on our online system we have dealt with him and asked the following information via email yesterday evening when he first contacted us via email to report damage when our office was closed, as well as verbally via phone when he swore at our Manager and then again via email this morning so we can resolve this issue for his father-in-law.

As we our a online retailer we simply ask for all information to be confirmed via email so we can get any issues resolved that may arise. As you can see from the email we have sent to Mr Dunbar no accusation has been made about the product being damaged by the customer and this was again stated via phone, we simply asked him to respond to our emails so we can organise city link our courier service to pick up the goods from the delivery address.

Look no further if you are ordering a new fire

After checking out various suppliers on line I found Fires2u to have the required product at the most favourable price. On completing my order on line I could find no reference to availabilty so phoned their Liverpool office.The female sales assistant said availabilty would be 7 working .days. After 6 days I received a phone call to say my fire would be delivered tomorrow - and it was .Excellent service

Style , value , heat what more could you want

just bought a crystal gem fire and part of it was broken, got in touch with fires2u they couldn,t have been more helpful they got in touch with crystal fires about the part and kept us informed all the time, we received the part in about a week we now have a fire thats stylish , great value and the heat is brilliant top marks fire2u i would recommend this company to anyone, the customer service is excellent .

5 STARS - great products and customer service

I purchased a great gas fire, the Flavel Finesse hole in the wall gas fire which I could not find any cheaper anywhere else.

I spoke to a lady on the phone to enquire about the gas fire specification before I purchased it and she was extremely helpful and friendly at offering advice.

As the winter is getting nearer we wanted to get the fire in as soon as possible and it was delivered on time with no problems.
I don't often put reviews on websites but we were really happy with the service and product so thought we would.

I have already recommended this company to my neighbour and they have just had a lovely great value fire fitted as well!

Best price very good service

9.5 out of 10 .........would of been 10 but they are red rose side of the hills my side is white rose...............seriously I was impressed. Emma is very knowledgeable. The fire arrived bang on time well packed

First class service!

After recently moving I ordered a fire from fires2u on a recommendation from a friend. I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so pleased with the product and the custermer service I received that I would recommend fires2u to anyone looking to purchase a fire. The icing on the cake was the price, being the cheapest in comparison to all online fire retailers I'd searched....and as my wife will tell you, I've searched them all!!! 5 well deserved stars in my eyes.

Terrible!

Don't deal with this company. They are as nice as pie to you when you order but if anything goes wrong they just don't want to know! Their customer service is absolutely attrocious and the person on the other end of the phone is unbelievably rude and talks over everything you try to say in explanation of the fault or complaint. We bought a fire from them and wanted it returned within their specified returns period (via phone calls and emails) but was basically told 'Tough!' We now have a fire we can't use or sell to get our money back despite telling them we were about to buy a fire from them at four times the value of the one we bought in good faith. They were not bothered and continued to utterly unhelpful and rude. I have NEVER encountered a company where after taking your money they don't want to know despite being over-friendly to start with. Also, for a so called reputable company they are using hotmail addresses. Be warned!

What outstanding service! I made two telephone calls to Fires2u and my enquiries were dealt with efficiently and in warm friendly manner (a lady called Emma) who was approachable, knowledgable and who didn't make me feel like a Numpty for asking silly questions. I placed my order on 10th October 2011. As promised, delivery on the 20th October went without a hitch and installation was completed yesterday. Bliss! I would recommend this company to anyone. Spending this amount of money is significant to us, so a huge Thank You for making the process simple and painless. I highly recommend the company. Fran Lewis MBE

Couldn't care less about their customers

We ordered a fireplace costing £1,169.00 on November 6, 2010.
On the same day, we received an automatic reply; the monies were taken from our charge card.
Ten days later, neither we, nor Fires2u.Com, had any further information about the proposed delivery date of the product.
No contact details (apart from an anonymous 0844 number) on their web site.
We should have known better than to deal with such a firm.
