I genuinely don’t know where to begin…

I genuinely don’t know where to begin with Freemans.com, but if this is the level of service new customers receive, it certainly explains why I won’t be one for much longer.
Several items from my order simply never arrived. That’s frustrating enough on its own, but what followed has been far worse. I contacted customer service and was repeatedly assured that the issues had been “sorted” and that the appropriate credits had been applied to my account. That turned out to be completely untrue.
Multiple items that I was told had been credited back… still haven’t been. Despite promises that everything had been fixed, my account remains incorrect.
So far I’ve spent over two hours on the phone, sent multiple emails, and been given the same reassurances again and again, yet the problem is still not resolved. Each time I’m told it’s all sorted, only to find nothing has actually changed.
For a company that claims to value its customers, the experience has been incredibly disappointing. Being given inaccurate information by customer service and having to repeatedly chase missing items and missing credits is simply unacceptable.
As a new customer, this has been a terrible first impression. At this rate, I certainly won’t be staying one. ⭐ 1 star – and that’s being generous.

Don't order anything from here if you…

Don't order anything from here if you are from Northern Ireland. Took money and lost the order. So slow to correct the issue and actually resolve the problem. Keep being told to wait X amount of business days for a solution.

Awful customer care and service.

Where do I start. I placed an order two months ago on the January offers two of the three parcels arrived. Third parcel missing. It took two weeks for someone to look into this by that time the item was out of stock. I was guaranteed that when the item came back in stock on (14/02/26) I would be able to pay the original price. On that date I went to order. Still out of stock, I rang and asked for advise they told me to keep checking. On Monday (09/03/26) almost two months after original purchase date I contacted again, item still out of stock but I could see them on the website separately. I asked would I still be guaranteed the original pricing if I receive the items separately. The lady on the phone assured me this would be possible. She placed the order on my behalf and they arrived today. I contacted as soon as they arrived (11/03/26) and was told an investigation would need to take place and a manager could only approve this despite all the notes on my account. I asked to speak to a manager after being on the phone for 30mins and was told no manager available. I asked to make a complaint, the man on the phone said he would not put the complaint through. I now have to wait again for someone to contact me. I have made numerous attempts to contact freeman’s to discuss my order, all times being told to wait. I was guaranteed that I would be able to receive the items for the original price and notes were put on my account so that this could be actioned. I am beyond disappointed and disgusted in the lack customer care and miscommunication by all of the customer service team. My issue still has not been resolved two months later. I would like to raise a complaint. If I could score lower I would. Absolutely appalled!!!

The item arrived quick enough

The item arrived quick enough, but the track suit bottoms were terrible to be honest. Far too baggy and I looked like a clown in them. Now I know why they were in a sale!

Nice stuff, bad packaging

It's easy to buy from Freeman's and delivery is generally very quick. Most things I've ordered feel like good quality.
My only criticism is that parcels arrive in ripped and half open packaging making it difficult to reuse the packaging for returns and every footwear item I've ordered has always arrived in an absolutely battered, torn and taped up box like they've been dumped in a box that has previously been thrown out. It makes it feel like second hand goods are being received.
I'm pretty sure it's not the courier as they are the same ones that deliver my Next parcels and they always arrive in excellent condition

So far so good !!! Happy customer .

I've has a very good experience with freeman's. Everything I have ordered so far , has came promptly. And ive been happy with the item I have ordered .
The app is perfect for me . Easy to order , pay payments & returns.. sizing have been my only issue. But,..The service and the instructions where very easy to follow. Refunds and replacements all done in no time at all ! .
So I can safely say . I have nothing to complain about.

Really poor effort from customer…

Really poor effort from customer services. I bought a jumper recently - I wore it once and I found the design of the fabric would ‘catch’ on anything it came into contact with. After wearing it for the second time it looked like an old rag. Emailed customer services and after 5 days I got no response, so I sent a follow up - still nothing. After 8 days I did a live chat. The response was, after being asked the same questions over and over, they it ‘repaired’ (what!) and they will pay 10% of the price of the jumper towards it but then it can’t be returned or send it back, at my cost, and after 10 days they will make a decision to see if it is faulty. I sent several pictures showing the snags/pulls. I haven’t sent it back and I won’t be buying from Freemans again- they were just not interested.

Shocking returns experience!

Great product. Dreadful return experience, spent 2 weeks phoning and waiting in the house for agreed collection that did not happen. Called the freemans helpline, v helpful, like pushing open door, all yes yes. No action, no collection! Still waiting for return of money to my account for return ed items, almost a month later!

Put my account on hold for no reason and had my parcel returned to them was waiting for it as it was a gift asked me to contact them to unblock account but by that time to late as gifts where no longer needed

Resident Evil Generations Pack (Cancelled Order)

I ordered the Resident Evil Generations Pack from Freemans as it was sold out pretty much everywhere else. The order went through without any issue, but after that I received no updates for five days, even though the expected delivery window had already passed. Eventually I got an email saying the order had been cancelled.

To be honest I had already suspected this might happen, as I had seen similar complaints from people ordering things like Pokémon cards from them, but it was still frustrating having to wait several days just to have it confirmed.

Given that they seem unreliable when it comes to fulfilling orders (at least for video game or pop culture items), and that their prices are often higher than other retailers anyway, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them.

I ordered a top for the first time…

I ordered for the first time after seeing a top I liked advertised on Facebook. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was easy and straight forward including 1 return that I’ve just sent back. (I bought 2 sizes for choice) I’ve given 4 stars as there were no welcome discount codes for my first order like many other retailers.
