GO Outdoors - Bakewell (Express) Avis 

Great experience in store today. Was looking for trousers and a waterproof for my husband. Roger showed me all the suitable waterproof jackets, explained prices and differences. Waited patiently while I contacted my husband to make a choice. All done cheerfully. Very friendly. Also sorted out my details on the system which have been slightly wrong for 10 years! Roger worked out what was wrong and has updated it so finally I won't have any problems with my go outdoors card.

Ruby was very helpful over the phone and excellent in store - cheerful and a credit to customer service

I needed some new walking boots so called into the Bakewell store. James (shop assistant) couldn’t have been more helpful. I walked out of the shop with a new pair of Scarpa walking boots plus socks. Very impressed with the service.

We were visiting to make some purchases for a Mission trip. All the staff were so helpful and Toby really helped to settle on the right shoes and waterproofs. We will definitely be back!

We visited The Bakewell Store on Wednesday 12th September initially to purchase a new sleeping bag for my wife.
We were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Roger.
As there’s a sale on at the moment we decided to take a look around. We asked Roger to help us with our purchase choices, he was more than happy to advise and take out to display some of the items that we were looking at.
Roger was professional and friendly at all times and to be honest we wouldn’t have bought so many things a sleeping bag purchase finished with spending £712 in the store. We don’t actually live in Bakewell we live in Sandbach around 90 minutes away, so it would have been easier for us to buy from the store in Crewe. However as Roger had been so helpful and such a likeable man we decided that we would return to the Bakewell store on Sunday when he returned from a couple of days break.
Roger is a credit to the go outdoors team and I would recommend visiting the Bakewell store when you are in the area.

Ruby was very helpfully and knowledgeable. She was very patient with my Dad very smiling and picked up on my Dad’s sense of humour. Nothing was to much trouble.

We were visiting Bakewell in our new motorhome and needed a folding table. We went into the store and a very helpful gentleman showed us where everything was we needed. Bought a pair of walking shoes. Served by Roger ( the manager ?) very well. He seemed knowledgeable about the shoes and was helpful and patient.

James was extremely friendly and helpful when we visited the Bakewell store yesterday. He went over and above to ensure we had the correct product for our needs (we purchased a walking pole).
