Visited on 19/06/26. Greeted by Leon who immediately was able to show me exactly where I would find what I was looking for in a well stocked store. Have decided what I wanted another member of staff showed me where the fitting rooms were. Leon again served me when I bought my purchase. He was friendly and agreed with my criteria on spec. A very good shopping experience.

Friendly helpful staff
On entering the store the staff were very welcoming. Very helpful with the selection and purchase of a paddle board, Leon was both friendly and professional.

Visited Torquay store where I received a patient and helpful service from Rick whilst purchasing a pair of walking shoes. Rick made every effort to find a pair that matched my requirements. I did not feel under any pressure to make a purchase.

A very helpful man (with long hair)…
A very helpful man (with long hair) helped me to find the perfect pair of walking boots. I have fallen arches, narrow feet and I take a half size so this was no mean feet. Tee hee! Thank you very much 5*. Julie

Best store I've been to
This store is by far the best I have been to, the staff are always very helpful and happy, the place is neat and tidy always. I was served by Leon today and he should be commended for his level of service and helpfulness. We had a great experience at Go Outdoors, Torquay. Matt was very knowledgeable and helpful, sourcing stock and enabling us to buy our chairs with confidence. Holly set us up with an account and was courteous and friendly at the till. One of the best examples of excellent customer service received in a long time.

Used gooutdoors on many occasions,went yesterday to buy a coat and use the toilet facilities only to be told they are no longer available to customers.
No coat and no more gooutdoors for us Torquay branch
