Tia Sharp is who I deal with, and she is excellent. Always pleasant and happy to help. Takes notes of all my issues ad updates me. Very happy with the service I receive. Her job is made harder when companies dont get back to her quick enough. No fault of hers ofcourse.

This company has been nothing but obstructive in our efforts as a collective community to remove them as our factor for our estate, in East Kilbride. Their unprofessional conduct and bullying tactics should be a warning to any potential future clients.

Need to give one star to review - not deserving of that. Worst factors around avoid at all costs. Prices constantly rising management of property is shocking. Very unhelpful don’t care about property owners only money. Pay for a service and get nothing for it. Poor communication from staff also. Experience with Glasgow branch.

we have had a very disappointing experience with Hacking and Paterson, despite paying significant fees, the level of service fell well below expectations. also found a lack of transparency around costs and feel that in most instances excessive, minor works/repairs can be carried out without our approval and feel its constant and costs creeping up year by year with more of our money going to the factor, more repairs/works done more money to the factor

If I could give minus stars I would. Refusing to accept community vote that no longer want them as factor. Going back on their word and issuing terms that residents will not get all their float back if contract is terminated. Please DO NOT employ this company.

Honestly....don't even know where to start. Bills are increasing all the time, lots of inspections of parks etc but no work done, management fees are ridiculous..... unfortunately I can't change the factor on my own but hopefully the community will do something soon and get rid of that company.

Can’t give negative stars but would love too. This company do nothing but take money from people the “service” they provide is a disgrace yet they have the cheek to take a management fee aswell as fees for substandard or unwanted work. No matter how many times you clear any arrears to £0 and despite paying them monthly every quarterly bill you somehow owe them more money. Recently my estate has been in the process of removing them as factor and at every turn been met with lies and obstacles from them including stating they will be holding onto each households float. This company simply take your money and do nothing for it most people would regard this as theft they call it “property management”. If your moving to an estate and this company is the factor I wouldn’t bother it will save you a fortune.

H&P Glasgow are , at the moment factors for my estate in Lindsayfield East Kilbride we the residents had a vote to get rid of them as they are continually increasing prices not doing the work they promised and generally treating residents with contempt
when residents contacted H&P they assured us that if we had over 50% of residents voting them out and gave them 3 months notice they would return the float money back to us and walk away
Now they are trying to move the goalposts and are refusing to honour their previous agreement to resign
They are also refusing to return calls
If anyone is thinking of using H&P please don’t because they don’t honour legal and binding rights

In a few words, my opinion has always been that H&P are hopelessly incompetent at all management levels, incapable of addressing residents valid concerns and reject any/all opportunity(ies) to respond to criticism of the firm's poor performance & blatant profiteering.

If I could give Zero stars a I would. Absolute disgraceful company. We have them factors in our area but decided to vote them out as their practices are not up to standard and the charges are outrageous. The residents voted them out and they are doing everything in their power to stop us and derail the whole process. They said they would resign but are now renaging on this along with a whole host of under handed tactics DO NOT use this company.

Disgusting company to have as a factor management for any development. Had issues with Taylor Wimpey digging up our streets for the third time in twelve years. Service strips and development left like a bomb site. Absolutely no support from our factor then sent us the riot act as we stopped paying until this street was put back to a living state. The management give no support. Do not answer emails. Talk down to you. Street put back with sand and grass seed. They employ Pender landscapers whom actually were taking the lawnmower over the sand and grass seed !!! Development care has gone downhill since Hacking and Patterson choose to support Taylor Wimpey with destructive works and expect residents still to pay a factor. Please come see Corby Craig Terrace Bilston to see what they have not supported and expect to be paid for nothing. Terrible customer care supported by Taylor wimpey again disgusting customer care. Charge for fake work no proof as several times I have been billed for work not carried out. Do not consider this company as your factor for your development. Wimpey force this in you as they are a cheap deal.

I reported a repair and H&P arranged for a building company to attend my property. The repair was completed the same day. I have also been given pertinent advice when requested. Great service

One star is one too much for this company. They were imposed on us by the builders over 12 years ago and the service has been awful since the start. Bills are always high. They are forever finding unnecessary work to charge for. The invoices are usually ridiculously expensive and when confronted they merely say that they chose the cheapest quote, but these are from companies chosen by them. Owners have no say. Recently charged approx £3000 for a small gate on a play park. Residents have now decided to get rid of them and H&P are doing everything to make it difficult. They have now added a lot of fees to their site that were never agreed or discussed including a charge of £90 per house to cancel their contract. If you sell your house they charge £150 fee for nothing.

Euan was a great help, and a breathe of fresh air compared to previous communications I have had with Hacking & Paterson. He sorted an ongoing issue quickly - I appreciate that greatly.
