Food processor parts are cheap. One blade broke after very little use and the bowl split. The company's communications regarding replacement parts is terrible and there service levels are awful.

I was looking for coffee pot/ glass kettle replacement for couple month but was hard to find the right size that matches the machine . I sent the issue via email to customer service and the asked serial number and model number after providing it , they ask what is the issue , after sending issue again, one more time they ask what is serial number , then what is the issue .... is just the lope of question and not assisting with issue, so was a tribble experience with customer service , and I will throw the whole coffee machine because there is no kettle replacement.
Hamilton Beach won't respond to emails anymore
I have a Hamilton Beach indoor grill that had a warped grease tray which won't close completely. So I ordered a replacement grease tray which did not fit any better. I asked for a refund and they gave me nothing but the runaround. First Albert wanted pictures of the model number and series number of the grill. I sent that and he replied that it is the correct part that was sent to me. Then he wanted a picture of the shipping label, picture of the bar code on the box and a picture of the part sitting next to the grill. I sent that and he replied to send a picture of the part inserted into the grill. I did and you can clearly see the grease tray does not fit. Now he won't respond at all. I will never buy anything from this company again. $30 for a grease tray is down the drain, but so is this company. Stay far away.

Have a 74250R Series Type EK04 Electric knife. Had 2 before inherited from parents..that were HB. One I have from you now is terrible by comparison. Tried to cut cold turkey breast over Thanksgiving and country cured ham just now. Tried is the operative word. My chef’s knife used manually was more effective. I’ve always bought Hamilton Beach for quality and paid more because it was worth it. I thought this knife was frankly too cheap for the value but trusted the brand. I see it is made in China….which can be fine if quality control is managed as I’m more practical than political. The motor works so it must be blade set up or engineering design. I need one that works or my money spent returned. Honestly I expected to pay $40-$50 for it instead of $30 ish. Response was “Design suggestions and comments do not go unnoticed. We will forward your comments to the appropriate individual for consideration.
Thank you for your patronage to Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc.“ So…weak…nothing to help. I’m buying something else.
Hamilton beach rice cooker
Bought a Hamilton beach rice cooker on November 2. Used it fir thec2cmonths I had maybe 5 timed. The last time I used it, I guess it died halfway through the cycle. I cleaned it put and plugged it in to try again. It did not work at all. No power, no nothing. Contacted customer service no response in 5 working days. I won't be using Hamilton beach products in the future.
Awful Experience...do not buy from them
I'm not surprised at all to see they have 1.5 stars. I've never had to deal with them before this, and I've used their appliances before with no problem so I was under the impression they were a good brand. I'll never be purchasing from them again.
I bought a stand mixer from them in April 2023. It broke in December 2023. 8 months later. It's not like you use stand mixers every single day, I've used it maybe 5 or 6 times and it broke. I purchased an extra four year warranty through Allstate, but they told me to contact the manufacturer because it had been less than a year since purchase, so I did.
First, they did not ask me for a receipt, they only asked me for the serial number of the product. Then, they told me that because I did not provide a receipt, the warranty had expired in 2022 and they offered me 15 percent off a new device. I said actually, I have the receipt, you did not ask for one. After that, they said okay your product is covered under warranty and we are sending it to "incorrect address."
Less than 10 minutes after I recieved this email, I sent them the correct address. They told me there is no way for them to correct it. I said, okay, so it's just going to be sent to the wrong address then? They said yes. It can't be changed. I said I want to speak to a supervisor.
They wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor. They said they "sent it to the supervisor and they suggested to contact UPS". Fine.
I contact ups and they tell me my tracking number, copied and pasted from the email they sent me, is invalid. I email Hamilton beach again and they tell me to wait 72 hours.
You're telling me the product isn't even shipped yet and you can't just change the address? Or verify the one you have is correct before you send it out?
Absolute worst customer service ever, worse than cricut (whom I've also had an awful experience with), I've never ever dealt with anything like this and I have worked in customer service so I rarely ever leave bad reviews because I know how it is.
Reading everyone else's reviews has me feeling validated. I'll be following up with a claim at allstate, thank God I purchased that extra warranty. If they deny me, I'll try UPS again in 72 hours but if that doesn't work I'll cut my losses and purchase from a company that cares about their customers. Insane how you can treat your customers this way when we literally pay your bills.
Sorry for the long rant, this just happened this morning and I am livid.

Here's one for ya! I have a Hamilton Beach coffee maker and just needed to buy replacement filters for the basket in the water reservoir. I ordered them off of Hamilton Beach's website, directly from the exact coffee maker page that I have and received them in less than a week. When I went to install them, they are too small and do not fill the basket, therefore, water rushes right AROUND them and into the coffee maker, not filtering a thing. I reached out to customer service and here's their response...WTH is the purpose of a filter if it doesn't seal the water inlet?!?

Registration/Sweepstakes Site Unsusable
1) Wanted to register my newly purchased product, but the site won't accept my registration and keeps asking for a required field that DOES NOT exist.
2) Also wanted to review the product: programmable defrost slow cooker. I bought this to replace a 30 year-old Rival Crockpot that gave up the ghost. Negatives: the removable crock is impossible to clean. I made a chicken broth soup 1st day and it stained. Really? And the lid is so light that the bubbling/condensation kept lifting it, spraying liquid all over the counter and floor - it was NOT filled to the top, but 2" below the top. Positives: pretty to look at, programming is easy.

This is the worse product you could have for a business. It's not just breakdown very easy, their warranty is absolute bad. They provided fix but not fixed, after 2 times of fixing and still not working they still sending us to more fixing instead to replace the new one. The person name Tracy (call records number 33271) speak over voice because I dont agree to further fixing and call me yelling when she the one change her attitude when I dont agree to further fixing. As a business owner we have loose money over product that break easy like this, and time to bring it to fix back and fort. We have now purchase a nutri bullet and it work brilliantly.

If I could give a no star that would be more accurate! I purchased a slow cooker and the glass lid exploded and shattered. It wasn't hot It was sitting on my counter and just emploded glass everywhere!! I contacted Hamilton Beach Customer service via email and there is no other way to contact them they do have a number but it's just for show, it will just loop you back to tell you to email them. They finally responded by telling me there may have been a slight flaw..dangerous flaw is more than defective.. but because the warranty may be expired too bad! Too Bad!!?? Too bad that your product is dangerous and could have cause severe injury to someone!?!? I have children and that glass went everywhere!! Too bad that maybe it needs to be looked into and recalled!!! Do Better Hamilton Beach!! You did not offer to request me to send you the "FLAWED PRODUCT" you said too bad your warranty has expried ..Your products are terrible and so cheaply made that they are dangerous. Have a relatively expensive HB Food…
Have a relatively expensive HB Food processor (Model #70825). A small plastic piece on the top of the work bowl broke, which tells the machine it is safe to operate. Apparently customer service consists of sending an email, which is impossible as I continue to get an "error processing message-try later". Tried corporate-not live people (I realized later that all their stuff is made in CHINA). Left message, but crickets so far.

WORST WORST WORSt customer service ever! Run as fast as you can from Hamilton Beach products. You only can contact via email, then when you ask in your email for a call back they say they tried to call and got no answer so then they close your case! My 9 month old coffee maker died, I provided receipt and original packaging to return, nope they offer to replace with a unit that is half the value of the broken one. They claim that model is no longer available, yet there are 66 units in my local store! They do not honour their warranty. And do Not really care if you’re happy with the service. Basically this is what you’re getting to replace your expensive coffee maker and it’s not open for discussion! RUN is my best advice!

I purchased a mixer grinder from Currys. The mixer grinder has a five year warranty, and I have only had it for one and a half years. A stainless steel mixer jug has been cracked from the bottom. Worst Customer Service and Poor Quality Product
I purchased a Black Stainless Flexbrew coffee maker. The Carafe Side Lid was broken and would not stay in place. I should have returned it to the retailer but Hamilton Beach asks you not to and instead send it to them for evaluation. I thought I was doing the right thing by sending it back to them, but the customer service has been horrible. I have no idea how they stay in business. I had no communication from them. When I e-mailed them to give me an update, they replied "We ask that you allow 6 to 8 weeks for your return to be processed and evaluated." It has been three months since I've had a coffee maker. I'll never purchase a Hamilton Beach product again. BEWARE!
Swindled
We had a duo coffee maker and the single cup stop working. So my spouse obtained a gift of another Hamilton Beach last Friday and so I tried contacting the company. The wrote me back stating that since I didn't have a sales receipt for the one I received last week (8/18/2023), they could not help me or follow warranty. As with many disappointed customers I have decided to no longer buy Hamilton Beach products. Once my coffee maker initiated the "clean" indicator the unit stopped functioning the way it should. I followed the clean instructions to the letter and the clean indicator comes on and off at random. Won't go away and is causing the unit to lose WiFi and become unresponsive.
Customer service is non existent.

I had recently purchased a Hamilton blender that was suppose to be used to make milkshakes, puree, crush ice etc but after using it, it could not even mix the ice cream enough to make a milk shake. So I reached out to Hamilton's customer service and instead of standing behind their faulty product they were quick to blame me for not knowing how to put the milk and ice cream into the blender??
So after several attempt to make a milk shake with this product it still did not work!!!
I use to buy their small appliances with confidents but after knowing they DO NOT stand by their product, I trashed the product and will never, ever buy anymore of their products again!
