We have had an amazing experience purchasing our home at Clophill Lakes. Hayfield homes are building an excellent development here and we are so pleased to be part of it. We would like to express our Thanks to Fran and Zizzi for all their help and assistants throughout our journey. Nothing has been too much trouble at all and we are very grateful to them.

From our first enquiry to actually meeting up with Lara we where always kept up to date with the Bromham development, and when she was not available other members of the team where there to assist.
No hard sell just honest advice.

Hayfield Homes are an exceptional house builder, I have worked with many builders in the industry over the years and Hayfield are by far the stand out developer in quality, developments and customer service.

I purchased a flat from Hayfield Homes just over a year ago, and there have been lots of issues with the shoddy work of the new property development since I moved in. The whole management is difficult and unhelpful and makes you feel you are moaning when any new build should have a 10-year warranty and snags are a part of their business even if they don't want to deal with them. They have made my life a misery. Please do avoid any new build from this company they are cowboys and unprofessional. I am sorry I was fooled by the positive reviews. regards, Natalie

Francesco has been brilliant from the start. Very helpful, but not pushy. Explained everything in detail, taking his time to make sure we understood. His communication written and verbal has been brilliant. Very quick helpful responses. The weekly updates have been really good, and he is very knowledgeable about the site, and our particular property.

3 months in

We have now been in situ for 3 months and are very positive about our house. The major plus points are:
A well managed and flexible sales process - Hayfield built our house on time despite numerous Covid challenges to materials and services. Their communication throughout was excellent, highlighting problems but saying what they were doing to address them.
A really good quality build - we have had snagging problems to deal with (although not many) but each tradesman has pointed out how much better the build and quality of fixtures & fittings are in comparison to other nearby developments
A surprising "Welcome Package" comprising towels, some
White Company toiletries and some food. Not expected, but very welcome and definitely exceeded any expectations
Our house is set up for the future being powered by a heat pump. This is working well as the house is well insulated and holds the heat well, with temperature controlled independently in each room. We have two electric cars so the incorporated car charger is well used. A little learning to get the best from these is necessary, but soon pays back with flexible heat and reliable charging at home
I mentioned snagging - this is to be expected and our issues have been limited to the more cosmetic elements, after some initial plumbing problems (resolved within three days). All additional issues either have been, or are in the process of being resolved. The customer care team have worked hard to help us.

Thank you for hard work of the whole team. We were really pleased with the outstanding level of care and attention to detail, from our initial speculative enquiry to the first few days in beautiful our new home. This is particularly impressive given the difficulties and uncertainties of the last two years. You were efficient and professional but were still as excited as we were to bring everything together. Thank you!

Our experience with Hayfield has been excellent from start to finish. The quality of finish is fantastic and having lived in a new build previously, built by a different developer, they are worlds apart. We have had excellent service throughout from the Site Manager and teams and we love our Hayfield home!

I have just placed a deposit on a brand new Three bedroom home on the Clifton site .The sales advizer Zizzi has been really nice and pleasant and made the time to explain and show us what we will be moving into.The quality looks great the Site is awesome and really are looking forward to moving in to this modern home on this lovely site.I will do a update once we are in the new Home .

We were very happy with our first viewing at hayfield , staff very knowledgable , polite and friendly , houses were lovely with some brilliant features not seen before and very well built , can’t wait to move in .

We were very nervous about downsizing to a bungalow, especially a new build but we have been very impressed with the standard of the homes and the service we have received so far. We have our fingers crossed to move in soon.

I’ve been dealing with them for years avoid everything about them especially the land development side please 🙏.

I’ll make this short but brief, if you wish to buy a new home just be aware of the annoyances that come with it.
Fantastic experience up to the point of handover and that’s where it goes downhill.
Just be aware if you have a snag list once you’ve moved in your better off repairing these items yourself.
Site managers are fantastic guys but there fellow workers let them down massively by not caring when doing basic repair work.
Such a shame as they build the value of being a prestigious home developer but there are way too many minor defects that should have been picked up on before we moved in.
Appliances not checked before move in, dirt under your kitchen kick-boards and then further damage to your home when they are supposed to be repairing your new house.
From what I can gather by neighbours; I’m not the first and unfortunately won’t be the last upset customer.
Such a shame.

I went to visit the Hayfield Oaks development to enquiry about a home last week and was met with probably the worst sales person I’ve come across, told me the house was sold, they have developments elsewhere and I can’t look in the show home, had to stop the door being slammed in my face to ask if they were building any more on this development and got looked up and down before being told they’ll be some 2 beds at some point ( I was looking for a 4/5 bed but she clearly thought I didn’t look like I had enough cash.

Overall a very bizarre experience because I would’ve considered one of their other developments if I hadn’t been spoken to like a peasant.

Don’t buy from this cowboys. Their build quality is poor and we can’t even get the heating to work. The finish is poor, cheap and horrible. The paint job is rubbish with peeling paint on walls from day 1. All round poor builder
