Beautiful look and quality

I ordered a couple of different styles of sweaters for my two Vizslas and I’m absolutely delighted with the results. I’ve tried a few different brands and styles and these are by far the best I’ve found. They fit beautifully, look gorgeous and the quality and attention to detail are fantastic. They took a little while to arrive, but then they are custom sized so that’s understandable. I’d definitely order from Hugo & Ted again.

An unfortunate waste of money

I ordered the dog jumper and measured my dog and send the measurements. I deliberately increased the measurements slightly so she would have a little bit more room in the jumper.

After the full 20 working days I get an email saying the measurements were incorrect and to check them. After a bit of backwards and forwards I remeasured and sent back her "true" measurements and the item was delivered a couple of days later.

Surprise Surprise, it barely fits. It's so snug and I can barely get it over her head and had to essentially bend her legs to get her paws in. Once it was on it was fine but I would've preferred her to have more room in it which is why I went bigger on the measurements in the first place (and I'm aware of the difference between inches and cm).

The only option available was send it back (at my cost) and pay a fee for them to fix it...which considering I gave the measurements I wanted in the first place seems a bit steep.

It's a shame as the jumper is beautiful and lovely quality and I adore the embroidery of her name but it's just too much of a struggle to get her into it so it'll never get worn.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are always happy to help customers with issues with their products if you contact us directly after receiving your order and following this review we have reached out to you. As you mention, we take great pride in our products being high quality and we choose to contact customers to flag measurements if we feel they are incorrect to make sure customers will not receive a product that doesn't fit properly and will subsequently be unwearable.

We asked for clarification of your measurements being in inches or centimetres (as we often have customers with small dogs who input centimetres by accident) as we did not want to send you a product that didn’t fit. You then updated the chest measurement to smaller without us asking for this and I can see you removed 3 inches from this to the one initially provided. I believe this is why you are finding your jumper to be tight. The initial query was solely to clarify if the measurements were correct not to ask for you to change your measurements.

We have contacted you privately and offered to remake your jumper bigger for you (at our own cost) however you have declined this offer. If you have any further issues please don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@hugoandtedltd.com :)

Very happy!

What a great service. What a great product. My dog and i are sooooo happy with the sling! He is beautiful and very soft.

Terrible experience ongoing 8 weeks

Terrible experience! Still haven’t received my refund as no parcel ever delivered a photo of my neighbours door mat with nothing on it apparently is proof of delivery to me ! We checked everywhere for the parcel the customer service is appalling I didn’t want a replacement as it had taken 6 weeks to get to this point and because I left a bad review on here which I am totally valid to do so as they have basically stolen my money they refuse to refund or respond please please avoid ordering from this company they do not uphold consumer rights and call customers liars when it’s Royal Mail that haven’t delivered!!

Lost package👎🏻

We have ordered from Hugo and Ted multiple times since getting our dachshund 2 years ago. We always LOVED the products and never had any issues until this last order.

We placed a large order back in May/June for our Winnie’s birthday and then got a shop notification that the order was delivered somewhere in the UK in August. We don’t live in the UK so I emailed multiple times about this situation and when they finally got back to me I was told they were investigating the lost package with Royal Mail and that they would get back to me ASAP. A month or 2 goes by and I’ve heard nothing so I emailed again asking for an update and was told to bear with them as they were waiting for Royal Mails update. It has now been 5 months with still no order.

We recently emailed again asking that this gets figured out before the new year. No reply. So I write again asking for new products, a refund, or letting them know we will have to dispute the charge. No reply.

Very disappointed as all we wanted and still want is our products. At the end of the day we don’t even want a refund or to dispute the charge we want our products to be remade which they have not offered.

Fantastic products!

Had a couple of items from Hugo and ted which include the hoogle and then sling, both of which are incredible products! Although primarily made for dogs I use these for my cat and she loves them especially the sling, she will sit still whilst I clean, wash up or cook dinner! She also loves to bury herself in it and snuggle down; honestly this company have hit the nail on the head with their products!!

Great products and customer service

I’ve struggled for a long time to get products that are good quality and a good fit for my spaniel. She now owns a full wardrobe of Hugo and Ted and I wouldn’t shop elsewhere now. Every product is always brilliant and we’ve had products for well over 2 years that still look and fit like new. Great team and lovely products.

SCAM

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!
WOULD NEVER BUY FROM HERE EVER!!!!!
Never had a customer experience so bad. never answer the phone do not reply to emails. If I wasn't so far away, I would have gone to the shop for answers STILL no produced ordered over 2 months ago got one email saying fabric was delayed. Then silence!!! I wish I had read the reviews as I wouldn't have ordered. I'm guessing they will put some sort of made-up reply as you cannot respond to it on here, like they have the other bad reviews. Nothing thanking people for good review Strange, but you wouldn't thank yourself and friends!!!!!!!! I am now writing this review as I have been refunded through PayPal. As the time has passed NO response from SELLER so automatically refunded me.

If you were genuine you would of responded and explained why…..

Scam company

I ordered an item from them 3 months ago, haven’t recieved the order and no one is responding to any form of contact. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam company and the reviews are fake.

Refusal of refund

I purchased a harness from the stall at Crufts, I was not sure it would fit my dog but was reassured if it did not, I could return it. Sadly it did not fit, so I got in touch with a lady from the company who confirmed I could have a refund if I returned the harness. I therefore arranged the return of the harness at my own cost. I then never received a refund d so I chased. It seems once the company had the harness back in their possession they changed their stance and came up with excuses why I cannot have a refund, such as the other lady made a mistake on the returns policy, it was ‘sold as seen’, ‘it had no tags on’ (it had no tags when I purchased it) and they are now only offering a credit note. However after the way the company has treated me I would not buy anything from them. So now I have no harness and no refund and I paid out the cost of a return, but the company do not care at all !!

I had an amazing experience with the lovely team here . Ordered a harness and lead for our podgy Minature dachshund who has been difficult to size 😂
Betsy emailed me to clarify sizes and we received a beautiful harness that fits perfectly.
Most definitely would recommend

Super quality product

I bought a beautiful tartan den for my miniature dachshund puppy. It is really super quality and to be able to have his name embroidered on it just makes it perfect! Highly recommend!!

Excellent service and quality made.

Just wanted to drop you a very quick note to say thank you so much for the car seat and seat belt!
I love it! It looks soo comfy and I hope that our puppy loves when we get him too.☺️ Middle of June we bring him home. 💙🐾

I’m so please I chose the burgundy red webbing it’s a gorgeous colour! And the grey of the seat makes it look amazing! I love it all!
I’m also so pleased that this is made in the UK too! We feel it is so important to buy from home these days and we’ll certainly be ordering from you again!

I had lots of questions as well which the team at Hugo and Ted answered swiftly for me. Their customer service was excellent.

No response from the company

I sent through an email several weeks ago requesting a refund. I have since sent a few more emails and attempted making contact through social media but have had no response from this company. It states on their website that I am entitled to a refund within 14 days however they do not respond to their email when you request a refund. Very disappointed.

Thanks for getting in touch. After searching your name I can see we replied to your original email requesting some photographs to see if we could help with using your sling and providing our returns address for you to return your sling to us if we couldn’t help with getting it to work for you and your dog.

We don’t offer free returns as even items that are not personalised to you or your dog are handmade to order so if you return your item it is at your cost unless faulty.

I will ensure someone sends an email direct to you this morning and in the meantime if you could please check your junk mail to see if our response went there that would be great please :)
