Excellent Awards Event
This is my third time attending the IOSCM Awards event in Newcastle and its always a great pleasure to attend. IOSCM have established a number of awards both in green logistics and supply chain which is now a benchmark and annual awards. This will encourage more individuals, professionals and organisations to aim high for profession and best practice. Another wonderful occasion for people to come together to honour 'Excellence within the Supply Chain'. The evening was very enjoyable – a diverse mix of award nominees, winners and celebrated guests were present, and the atmosphere throughout the ceremony, from the Welcome drinks, presentations, to dinner and dancing, was engaging, fun and heart-warming.

IOSCM proved that is worth to study with them.
Overall this course in level 5 diploma in supply chain management, which was spread over 2 years was really informative, knowledgeable and enjoyable to study and read to understand more. I gained a lot of knowledge and I understand better the supply chain concept. By the help of the tutors feedback and the notes given this was possible to achieve the certificate. The guidance which is provided throughout the course and on the portal was really helpful. The portal is easy to navigate and very understandable. Two things that I believe should be improve would be: the layout of the certificate ( how it is presented ) and the notes would be more realistically which reflects today's environment operation.

Level 5 Diploma
Overall, a great learning experience with lots of new knowledge gained. The tutor support was excellent—always helpful and willing to provide guidance whenever needed. However, the course could benefit from more video and visual aids to make learning easier. Incorporating more engaging multimedia content could help cater to different learning styles and make complex topics easier to grasp. Some materials, especially in the Procurement module, felt limited and could be improved as they seem to lack depth. Despite these minor drawbacks, the course was well-structured and informative. I’d recommend the qualification for anyone serious about supply chain management.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole course
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole course, learnt so much that I am able to take with me to my main job role.
However I urge people to please not make the same costly mistake I did. I got carried away with my main job role (Armed Forces which since start of the year has picked up in pace) and unexpectedly having a baby, and completely forgot to take into account the marking timeframe of 7-10 working days for submissions.
Therefore the date I submitted my last 2 assignments, took the marking timeframe just past my end date. (I had already paid for an 3 month extension and wasn’t able to have another due to syllabus ending). Unfortunately this meant I don’t receive a qualification.
My only advise I hope people take away from this review is Please please do not follow this mistake I made. Ensure you submit in time taking into account the marking timeframes.
Absolutely gutted with myself.
Despite this, I Would highly recommend the course. Tutors are supportive and respond when help is needed, feedback is thorough so you know what to improve on next time.

Flexible study option for further career development in Supply Chain
Advantages:
- Wide variety of modules (for any Supply Chain area of interest)
- Valuable exchanges and support with tutor
- Flexibility in organizing own work
- Fully compatible with demanding jobs
- Extremely friendly and responsive front-office for any admin issues (thanks Emma and Tracey!)
- Possibility to pay in multiple installments
Areas of improvements:
- Training material could be more up-to-date with latest Supply Chain developments (AI,...)
- Long waiting time to receive the diploma (not an issue if one has a job and does not need the diploma to apply for a job)
- Charge an additional 75£ for a hardcopy of the diploma (with also weeks of waiting time)
All in all, good value for money and great experience overall. Thanks to all IoSCM team for the support throughout the studies.

In regards to the waiting times to receive your Diploma, we completely understand how important this is to our learners and appreciate your patience. Once a course is completed, we request the IoSCM completion team to begin both internal and external verification processes. These quality assurance steps are very thorough to ensure the integrity and accreditation of your qualification, and as a result, they can take up to 12 weeks to complete.
While we understand this may feel like a long wait, especially after all your hard work, these steps are essential to maintain the high standards our qualifications are known for. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we're always here to keep you updated on the status of your certification.
Additionally, if you're attending an interview and your verification has been completed but you're waiting for the certificate, our Support Team can provide an official confirmation letter for potential employers.
As for the £75 charge for a hardcopy certificate, this fee helps cover the administrative costs. While many learners are happy with a digital certificate, we offer the hardcopy as an optional extra for those who would like a physical version.
