pint and a wine £5 - £6. everywhere else £10+. you know your not getting ripped off.

Charged twice for same order, showed staff 2 exact charges on app, manager said charges were pending and one would be cancelled, it wasn't. Wetherspoons would not refund being charged twice for same order.

Pros:
- Very quick service.
- Great tasting food. Good drinks.

Cons:
- Very busy, difficulty finding a table.
- Staff also very busy and so less attentive at times.

I visited my local Wetherspoons for breakfast today against my better judgement having had very poor service in the past.
I ordered scrambled egg on toast with some bacon, what I didn't order was crushed eggshell in the scrambled egg.
I wont be going back because standards have dropped so low.

Went into my local last night and despite it being really busy our regular bar maid was manning the bar due to the rest dealing with a situation outside and the bar maid Layla really smashed it and gave the best service and kept us laughing the whole time defo needs a raise 💪💪

would like to provide some feedback on Shanice. I have visited a number of Wetherspoons locations, and while the service is consistently good, Shanice stands out as exceptional. She is professional, approachable, and brings a real sense of warmth and positivity to her role. Her bubbly personality and dedication to excellent service make her an outstanding member of the team and a real credit to the company.

When Wetherspoons advertise toast and jam, what they mean is barely warm bread that they've held over a matchstick. Are they scared of serving hot cooked food?

Overall, a solid four stars from someone who pops in for a coffee most mornings, either with or without food.

Food (quality of cooking) can be variable sometimes, but overall nothing much to complain about.

Lost a star for the occasional wrong item, or food not hot enough.

WiFi has been playing up lately, and the changed recipe vegetarian sausages are my two main negatives.

Please bring back the shakshuka.

I've visited the locations in Belfast, Carrickfergus and Dublin all several times. What brings me back is the price! The food is better quality than one would expect (provided you order the right thing- avoid chips and burgers, pizzas and chicken wings are great). Selection of drinks is unbeatable. Just avoid Guinness- had a few awful pints. My main criticism is cleanliness. Immediately upon walking in the smell is just awful. Get the disgusting carpets ripped up and away!! The smell surely turns many people away. This is a consistent problem across the locations I've been to. Have had a few dirty glasses and forks too, more than acceptable. ....Yet I keep coming back! The convenience factor and large selection still make it a decent option- just not for high expectations. You get what you pay for.

Just been to Waterfront Wetherspoons in Dudley. Ordered WKD got none white wine soritzer — no lemonade. Ordered fish and chips no fish. Not a good start!! Then to make the day complete the chap bringing a tray of drinks knocked Bri’s pint of beer all over him. Luckily my grandson had a spare pair of jogging bottoms in his car boot as he was absolutely soaked. Even his bank notes in his wallet. They replaced the shed pint but that was all no complimentary glass . Bad customer service.

Wetherspoons in Fleet. Not a bad pub but the majority of the bar staff need to find a new job. They’re rude, miserable and if you make slightly too much noise or say the wrong thing you’re told to leave. I get the food/drink is cheap but doesn’t mean you can treat the customers like sh*t

Used to be a good place to get reasonably priced food and cheap drinks who ever came up with the genius idea to change the nenu needs to check themselves biggest fcuk up ever if you want burgers go to maccy ds mixed grill was always a winner need to bring back the old menu and bin off the melt that decided to change it

Went for eggs Benedict like I always have done and the eggs come so well done it took effort to cut and when complained to the chef she tried to say that’s how it’s meant to be, clearly not much of a chef if they don’t know the poached eggs in Eggs Benedict are meant to have a soft, runny yolk and set whites.

Visited the Billingham branch on Friday for our usual fish and chips treat. We’ve switched to Fridays since you stopped serving steaks (which I’ll never forgive you for, as I’d enjoyed them for years).

To my surprise, there were no fish and chips available either — I was told they were still frozen. Honestly, what’s the point of “Fish Friday” if you can’t even serve fish and chips

Just what we got ….

It was a curry day at Weatherspoons in Bournemouth, at the place next to the church where Mary Shelley is buried. It has a picture of Frankenstein outside and looks really attractive.

So I ordered a curry.

The actual curry itself was nice but …

The rice was hard and in balls.
The onion bhajee was crisp on the outside and like runny egg inside.
The nan bread was hard and crispy in places.
The papadums were oily and still hard.

Even the sparkling water came out of the bottle flat!!

Won’t be back.

The Last Post Pub in Beeston ,Nottingham well I visited here on Wednesday with my 2 friends and it was disgusting . Not the food that was the usual Wetherspoons breakfast we were used too , lukewarm but thats fine . It was the rest of the experience . Firstly and most importantly was the coffee machines if you ever get the 2 of them both working then you've hit the jackpot and as usual there was only 1 on when I went to get my drink . However the issue I had and many other people was the cleanliness of the machine and the whole area around them . There were flies buzzing around and landing on the machines the worktops and there was sugar all over the place and split milk . It only needed wiping which in the 2 hours I was there it was left like that . Why was nothing in place to stop all the flies as well . It did make me wonder if this is how the
management want the place to be perceived where the customers can see if then what must the kitchen be like . No pride in its appearance at all . Now the second one was the miserable young lady that served us . Wow a ray of light she was not . Customer service training she must of missed that one . My friend ordered her food and was told there were no poached eggs , but you could have a fried one . I did have to hold back the laughter . Why can they do a fried egg , but not a poached . Being married to a trained chef I couldn't grasp the issue at all . Maybe the chef on that day just could master this so played it safe by only doing fried . I know you pay for what you get and wetherspoons is cheap but I still would like a degree of standards when I eat out . I am sure I am not the only one who would think this .

The pizzas was nice but them took of steak what was the most popular meal on the menu the burgers was nice and the drinks was nice amd cold and teas nice and warm put steak back on menu

I’ve always chose this Wetherspoons for our works drinks , we are all carers so getting together at times is nice for us, there’s a lot of younger people there on Fridays and Saturday nights which is okay even though we are all 30 plus we still enjoy it , but the last time we went I was so disappointed as I was going to the car park to meet my friend who was joining the rest of us the bouncer saw me leave from the outside seated area and I said I was getting my friend he didn’t really acknowledge me and just gave a slight nod , when I returned he said we couldn’t go in , I asked why and I said you just saw me , by asking this he said I was being rude and disrespectful then told me I had to re- enter around the front which is fine but why not say in the first place ? so me and my friend made our way round the front , when we got there the bouncers said we couldn’t go in , I said why ? I’ve just been told to come here ? The bouncers at the front told me what the bouncer at the back said and that he had told them not to let us in , so this obviously spoiled our night out and we all left as a result, I’m a 39 year old mother of two who works as a carer just out for drinks with my colleagues I’m not out for trouble and find the whole situation ridiculous and the bouncer was vile , non of us will be coming back. 😠

No mixed grills anymore .. that was the only reason I ate there how is a burger a substitute for a mix grill don’t make sense at all

We visited the Ralph Fitz Randal in Richmond Saturday 23/08/25 for breakfast, first impressions when walking in was WOW never been to a Wetherspoons that’s as clean as this one, ordered from the app came within 6 minutes, was piping hot and coked to perfection it was very tasty, we spoke to Emma and Taylor and told them how clean the pub is and how nice not to stick to the tables, the staff are extremely friendly and happy to help. Sometimes when we have been to other Wetherspoons the staff look like they don’t even want to be there. Keep up the good work Richmond. Was a very pleasant experience. 10/10
