Food is absolutely diabolical, all ultra processed garbage, over priced junk food. I just don’t understand why places like this are allowed to serve food like or why the hell people are buying it. The healthiest thing on the menu is lettuce and eggs everything else is loaded with sugar salt preservatives it’s just not nutritious food. The steaks which was probs the best food item on the menu again overpriced, have been removed why ?? And replaced with more junk food

went to order the ham , egg and chips, asked if it was g/f chips, no one knew [if you work in a restaurant then staff should know what they are serving. lack of oat milk by the coffee machine, asked for more and she went to refill it but didn't , hard peas with the pie, then ordered pud and the so called millionaires shortbread biscuit pud was basically ice cream with a few crumbs on , no biscuit in sight . we used to like 'spoons, not been in a while and now i doubt i will be back ..

Avoid the boneless chicken or any sort of chicken. Visited on Tuesday dinner ordered boneless chicken bucket only to be served RAW chicken.
Complained to and all I received was a Thankyou to bringing to my attention.
No offer of a free meal or even money back from being served RAW chicken. Gob smacked will definitely avoid for food in future.

Would give less than 1 star if I could. Awful manager spoke to me so rudely and threatening at the golden grove branch and I spoke to head office who didnt care absolute terrible staff working for them. Won't be using again neither will my friends and family

In comparing this Wetherspoon's, The Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill, London, to many others around the country I rate this one highly.

I prefer to eat upstairs here as it is well kept, tables cleaned and condiments topped up and plentiful. The food we had on Tuesday, curry each, was hot and well flavoured, drinks well kept too.

The app worked well, drinks were served at our upstairs table in good time with the food following shortly afterwards.

It's only a Wetherspoon's but made to feel so much more by the friendly, pleasant and always busy team-member Mark. This conscientious gentleman makes it way more than the average outlet and it's always nice to meet him again, however fleetingly because he makes all customers as his priority.

I have real pleasure in recommending this busy, bustling place and will be back again.

Shame as there are one or two nice Wetherspoon outlets doted around the Country, with some pleasant staff.
Sadly let down by the lack of managerial training whom believe they have the right to abuse a minor in broad daylight, then refusing (and denying) copies of cctv for evidence. Maybe its because you then find out that the licensee does not actually have license.
On top of this, kitchen inspection has a lot to be desired, obvs Health & Safety is not on the agenda, nor is cleanliness. A quick £20 to keep mouth shut about mouse droppings (probably rat), dosnt quite cut it with some of us. (2019-2022)

Cannot believe it's now been 6 weeks and the weatherspoons in winton the parktone and Heathlands toaster is still not working how long does it take to replace a toaster so we can have toast with a cooked breakfast

The salad portion size are now smaller. Won't be having again as no longer value for money.

I don’t usually write reviews, but we recently visited the Velvet Coaster in Blackpool. It was packed across all three floors with the illuminations and firework display taking place. There were four of us, and we ordered through the table app. I have to say, the app has improved massively—it gave an estimate of 9 minutes, but our drinks arrived in just 5 minutes and the food followed 2 minutes later. Both the price and quality were excellent.

Ordered meal at bar must have been a trainer didn’t get what I thought had ordered querid with manager twice server hadn’t put through the food order. so I was sat watching my partner eat shame as I was hungry. Guess I’ll have to have a burger or kebab on way home. Would not suggest this as a good evening out

Wetherspoon Tonbridge I would like to praise a member of staff called Annabelle so friendly with all customers knows exactly what she’s doing very fast at serving but so polite and caring absolute pleasure to meet her. Whoever the Recruitment for her deserves a pet on the back. Absolutely fantastic many thanks. Hope you pass on this feedback to Annabelle thank you, Mark.

Wetherspoons. The Swan, queen street, uttoxeter. Has to be the most disgusting disabled toilet in have ever been in. Door unlocked so everyone using it instead of climbing the stairs. Piss everywhere especially the floor. And the smell was so bad I gagged. Had to cover wet floor with toilet paper which was nearly impossible to get off the toilet roll. Food good and service good. Also a sign on the wall saying LOO 2025 award winner.

We visited the Weatherspoons at Primrose Valley at Filey. The staff were good, but the food was awful.
We wanted a steak but they said they had stopped doing them. We had one of their new burgers and both of us were unable to finish them. They were just awful.
We shall not be using any branch of Weatherspoons ever again.

Wetherspoons in Edinburgh Airport keep clear, overpriced and reheated food. Nice staff shocking prices, food was pure crap.

I recently visited The Golden Lion in Rochester and was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. I ordered a meal and a glass of wine through the app, but when the food and drink were brought over, the staff member refused to serve me the wine unless I provided a physical photo ID.

I’m well over 25 years old and was genuinely shocked to be asked for ID in this situation. I showed my credit card and offered to present a digital ID on my phone, but both were dismissed without consideration. The server, who I believe was a duty manager, was abrupt and unhelpful throughout. No alternative (such as a soft drink) was offered, and I was told I would not be refunded for the drink I paid for.

I fully understand the importance of following legal ID policies, but this experience showed a complete lack of discretion and customer care. I left feeling embarrassed and upset. As someone well over the Challenge 25 threshold, I expected to be treated with more respect and common sense.

I hope management reviews this situation seriously, as this is not the standard of service one expects from a well-known establishment.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Not only was the service unprofessional, but my credit card was charged multiple times for the same amount. I tried to resolve the issue, but there was no clear response or help from the staff. To make matters worse, I ended up leaving the hotel without having any food with my young child. It was frustrating and upsetting, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. AVOID if you don't want to deal with unnecessary charges and poor service! Ordered a large breakfast @ olympia Tredegar, came in about 10 mins, looked ok, for £5.99, but when started eating it, worst breakfast ever, eggs were cold, bacon was cold, beans in small pot tasted off, sausage tasted off, only thing edible was toast and hash browns. Couldn't eat it. Absolute muck.
When she came for plate, said all.ok, I said no not really, it was awful.
Had a free pint, but shouldn't be allowed to sell shit like that.

Most unfriendly pub to dog owners and pensioners, I have ever been to. Not even allowed to sit out side and enjoy some food and have a beer, with out being hassled my the staff and duty manager. I under stand that wetherspoons have a policy of no dogs inside but outside is just pathetic. I have put a complaint in, as 5 minutes after me an old pensioner lady with a white dog was told politely to go also. She was very upset as her husband had left her to order. How dare you pick on a defenseless old women who probably can only afford cheap food and kick he out. Seemingly dog owners are not welcome, but alcoholics & the unemployed, are! Hell will freeze over before I set foot in a J D wetherspoons while this stupid policy is in place.

Stalybridge bar: We ordered a meal with drinks and this was not deemed acceptable for my 15 year old grandson.

I agreed to choose a different option but had not decided. When I approached the bar staff I was glared at because the server had assumed I wanted lemonade.

When I said this was not correct again glared at and essentially given no further option.

Well when glaring at me no longer worked I was then spoken to poorly when I insisted on the preferred drink, or which I was paying for.

Maybe she was tired or maybe she is just an angry woman. No bother to me as I ate and left. She has to live in that place and I wish you all the happiness!

I went to the Leicester High Cross branch, they did not serve the meal I paid for. The staff were too busy to chase it up.
